And how johns face is always wavering between wanting to be amiable towards Merle and remembering what he had to do. And there’s no face after being taken. You feel that John isn’t there anymore. Where they all play D&D in an completely original story. Would highly recommend. There are multiple playlists of all the eps on KZhead but they all miss one episode. But you can listen on Spotify for free and it has all the episodes. "T.A.Z. : Balance Arc" is honestly the best D&D podcast out there in my opinion. Hilarious banter between the family and their in game characters but it also has an amazing story which can get pretty serious at times. 100/10 do recommend.

  • i first watched this several years ago. I had no idea what Taz was, but was too preoccupied with life to find out. Just maybe under a month ago, I finally managed to get with the program and actually listen. It was a slow start, but over a break from school just last week, I hyper fixation - binged it nonstop reaching the end of the suffering game. Today, only a few minutes ago, I have finished listening to taz balance, and I love everything about it. I’m not one to cry from fictional stories, but even so the final episode made tears run down my face. A big reason that I had faith in the podcasts quality was because there’s no way someone would put this much effort and talent into an animation about a bad story, so even if you don’t see this comment specifically, Thank you.

He doesn't want to, but is made to by some "being". After actualy meeting them he realises they are nice people and really doesn't want to kill them now. but has to out of fear of that "being". His confliction gives the "being" a reason to take over. Bunch of side plots happen leading up to them beating the man and the "being". • I don’t know what “the adventure zone” is but here is what I think is happening. The suit guy is some businessman who doesn’t like the people with the red coats. But he talks to the short guy and finds out he is nice but they black thing with the colors makes him attack the short old guy and now he has to kill them all. During the final battle he becomes the big demon monster and gets destroyed by the green guy. Basically it’s the weird black with colors demon thing that makes him evil even though he is a good guy, (as seen by the end where he is looking at the sunset)

    @liamn.3347@liamn.33474 жыл бұрын

  • I had this pop up in my recommendations once, probably 8 months ago. I watch Critical Role, and also watch a lot of animations/animatics based on that show, so I saw this and figured “why the hell not.” I enjoyed the animation, even if I didn’t understand who the characters in it were. But “The Adventure Zone” stuck in my brain-I had heard of it before. Lo and behold, it was a DnD podcast. At the time, I wasn’t into podcasts, but by chance a few months ago I slowly started getting into the McElroy brother’s content. It started with small clips 3-10 minutes long of the brothers’ goofs. Then, some Monster Factory, and then full episodes of MBMBaM. And slowly I found myself enjoying podcasts, and finally I decided that I would dip my toes into TAZ. What I did not expect was the beautiful oral tapestry Griffin wove with the help of his family. I’m here now, having finished the final episode merely ten minutes ago, and now... I get it. I had forgotten most of the visuals of this video but seeing them again reminded me of some confusion I felt initially. But now? Now I *know*. What a fantastic, journey it was.

  • I can’t explain it but it’s the combination of the music, animation, and the overall incredible emotional attachment I have towards balance, but this video always gives me chills. I absolutely love it.

  • Out if all of the villains I have seen. This man has to be the strangest one I have ever seen. A talkshow guy complaining about mere existence and is corrupted by sone dark magic (or something else cause I never looked at TAZ) and is simply faded away on a beach with white beard guy. I love his design in this and I never thought that he is kind of understandable and relatable to people with immense depression. And I admire whoever thought it up for that

  • Lost my shit at I could throw you in the lake line. Imagining Merle not sneaking of but straight up leaving made me laugh but does seem a thing he would have done. That mixed with I could throw you in the lake does sound like something that might be said to him.

  • I've never heard of TAZ before, but this video randomly popped into my recommendations. "I Can't Decide" was a favorite song of mine in middle school and this music video does it justice. The story inside this video, along with the music, does a great job of telling me what TAZ is like and what exactly the plotline is, despite me not knowing any of the character's names or anything about it. Amazing work!

    • Talinah I 100% suggest watching it. It’s a D&D podcast. Very funny, very entertaining, extremely well written, and one of the most amazing fantasy stories I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. I’ve watched GoT, LoTR, and neither of those have made me as emotional as TAZ has. It’s something so incredibly special. You’re missing out if you don’t watch it. I suggested it to a friend for over a year, and when he finally watched it, he binged it in a month
