Music Creators:
@PoorMansPoison
I found the song inspired a lot of personal anger and sadness I have about some of the world, so I felt compelled to put it into animation. I hope it can inspire others too, as well as make those who have hurt from what I cover in the animation feel a little more heard.

    • @@The_SkyCrane Mojang set up a mob vote like they’ve done every single year. They do a vote every Minecraft Live where 3 mobs are listed, but only 1 is added to the game. So whichever one gets the most votes is added to the game permanently while the other 2 will never be added and is gone forever. The problem is the Mob Vote has always caused controversy because the community always fights each other every year about which mob will be added to the game. However this year they had 3 great candidates and everyone wants them all in the game, so instead of fighting each other they have turned on Mojang because they’re tired of choosing just 1 mob when they could have them all. The Mob Vote was always meant to be an fun event for the community to come together and feel apart of something. But over the years everyone has slowly grown to hate it because it’s now just something that reminds the community of things they will never have and it just stirs up toxicity among the community as a whole. It’s kinda stupid on Mojang’s part that they’re even still doing this sh*t. There’s a whole freaking petition to end the Mob Vote that has like over 300K signatures. 💀💀

    @Runninglizards@Runninglizards7 ай бұрын
    • Not only that, but while Jesus hangs, the public figure wears the trappings of Christianity, with his cross badge and the cross behind him, but behind the cross is a bovine statue, which I'm assuming is a double reference to the golden calf idol in the story of Moses, and the Wall street bull. Also I don't know if this was intentional, but I associate hanging in an American context with lynching, so that shot serves as a reminder that Jesus, a man of color preaching kindness and condemning greed, would have been murdered at many points in American history.

Big corporate rallying behind a messianic leader whose hate of the opposition has blinded them after years of media being bought by those same companies. Society has been split in half and where there used to be solidarity with the unlucky, there is now hate and disdain towards the poor from even people in the same economic state, as they believe they are actually pursuing the "righteous path of liberalism". With the bleeding nose of the child abductor and the bleeding eyes of the school shooter, but they were both manipulated, maybe it represents hate? The people being thrown in prison hating their captors, the shooter hating the person he shot, but what about the child abductor? I also love the imagery of the blindfold finally slipping once the shooter has already done something horrible and he realizes what he did. Overall great animation.

  • Here's my interpretation of the colors in this absolute masterpiece: Red- Corruption/loss of innocence (yellow). Green- Money. Yellow- Innocence, but less naive. Like an immunity to the corruption (red) of the outside world. Purple- Power (maybe a reference to how purple signified royalty in the past). White- The absence of color-ignorance. thx for coming to me ted talk

    @oscar_the@oscar_the6 ай бұрын
    • Yes! You got the purple royal inspiration The white was kinda meant to be an ironic "purity" The red represented pain and the man in the suit wears it because of his willingness to exploit it Yellow (the complementary to purple) is meant to be hope or a sense of innocence But, I'm glad to have read your take :)
