    • @@trvman1 I dont think its entitlement, its basic sports psychology, its way harder to play well offensively when you lead 3-1. The other team naturally has the spirits to chase the lead. After you hit that 3-2 goal, you get a boost of energy and hope so you gain hope and momentum, the other team on the other hand start to fear that they might lose the game and fear in moments like these is deadly.

Technically 6v5 is harder to score than 5v4 since there’s more bodies blocking the net, but let’s just say the percentage to score is the same as the PP. That means the odds of scoring twice would be: (.15)(.15) = .0225. So it would be approximately 2.25% chance to score twice to tie it up. That’s pretty damn rare…

    • no sympathy.... the Preds had no business winning G-2. Their goals were COMPLETELY against the grain of play for the entire game and most of the play was in their zone while having 90 mph shots snap off their kneecaps. Math would suggest 86 shot attempts would have a 3rd to 25% slip through and some of those score.... no sympathy.... but hey, that's what happens during the greatest game on earth. Drama! Good guys up 3-1
