    • Mozart isn't Austrian, he is German. And it is named Turkish march because it is trying to imitate Turkish percussion instruments. And it is not even Turkish March, it is Alla Turca which means Turkish style. Beethoven wrote Turkish Marches too. Check out Marcia Turca and the Turkish March from his 9th Symphony (It is God-like😍). For the record, Mozart played the organ and the viola too. The Organ is invented in Greece. The viola is invented in Italy. Classical Composers were very interested in Ottoman music. That is why the wrote Turkish Marches typically to celebrate victory according to Richard Atkinson. Mozart's 5th violin concerto and Abduction from the Seraglio are supposed to feel Turkish!

The piano had some songs save inside of it and you could turn on a mode where it would show you which keys you have to press in order to play the selected song correctly. And because I was small to understand notes from paper, I learned this whole song by that small display showing me what key to press and then I was playing it from memory almost as quickly as original. A lot of people were impressed by how I managed to learn something like this. But today I don’t think I would be able to play it again.

  • Just a word of advice for people who are struggling to play this song because of not fully understanding the timing or struggling to learn both hands: Make sure that you don't try and learn both hands at the same time- if you're having trouble it's best to really concentrate on the timing of individual hands (or at least that's what worked for me) also about the people who can't play it because of small hands and octaves and stuff; have you tried improvising the parts that you find difficult to play? Granted,It may not sound as good as the original, but it's better than letting the size of your hands limit what pieces you play :) (Ik the struggle I first played this piece when I was 12 and had to stretch my hands out until I felt like my fingers were being pulled off, bad times tbh) But either way, once you've listened to the piece a few times and really understand the structure it's not as hard as it looks :)

    • Corbin Doucette, though with some pieces what you have said is true, this song inparticular requires delicate and precise finger placements, that can only be developed with hours of practise. I think that OC was right in his advice. Practise hands separately until you are VERY confident (especially with the right hand!)

    • Actual trash another tip is to SLOW DOWN you’d be surprised how much it really helps when you slow down and take your time in each section. You won’t even think you’re playing fast a first but when you really slow down- say to like 40% the speed of the piece it really helps when you go back to full speed

    • Inidutili Roblox that’s great man. I’ve been playing for about 2 and a half months now. I can play gymnopedie, and chopins prelude in E minor. They’re fairly slow and easy, that’s why I chose them. I’m currently learning Howls moving castle theme. I’m still struggling with my sight reading, not very fluent at it, but manage all the same. How’s your sight reading improved after 5 months?

      @jaredprice5823@jaredprice58234 жыл бұрын
    • @@jaredprice5823 I improved it by memorizing where the notes are placed, and where notes started, for example, the Bass Clef starts with E, and the Treble Clef starts with C, and just memorize the place on where they are, and you will improve! I actually don't know how to read notes when I was a beginner.
