Hello! How are you guys? Shostakovich’s Waltz No. 2 has been used in lots of media. I think that you guys might know the melody. But, I expect that lots of people don’t know the title. Also, this is one of the pieces that subscribers have requested a lot over a long time. To play this piece, I had to try to find a great arrangement for the piano. On KZhead, most arrangements are great. Among them, I picked the arrangement by F. Noack. Personally, I like this arrangement a lot. This arrangement is consists of various harmony. If you try to play this piece, you can feel that it is very hard to play. I was not able to find a digital version of the sheet music. So, if you want to practice, you should order it and wait for the delivery of the sheet music for a long time. In my place, the number of patients infected with the coronavirus is still increasing. So, I had difficulty finding a house. Finally, I found it. I am going to move to a new place next week. After moving, I believe that I can upload lots of performances including pieces that you guys request. Thank you all the time for your support! We are in a difficult time right now, but I believe we can get over it soon. Keep safe and healthy! And, have a great day!

Your neighbours are so, so lucky to get to listen to you playing. I wish I could live next door to you.
I live near someone who plays both the violin and piano. They often spend an hour on the same few bars of music. Tbh, as someone who plays too it's just even more beautiful to hear someone progress through a piece
@@cloroxbleach9222 my mom is a piano teacher, and i get to listen to music all day long. and then my brother is a violinist trying to get into Julliard so he practices 3~4 hours a day. I'm really lucky to be able to listen to music basically 24/7

Nice, hi Kasia, any tips for la campanella
Love the fire in this recording. Lovely tempo and rubato as well!
What rabato mean?
@@lastbornrelic3430 to speed or slow down tempo momentarily I think
@@ResonantP thx
@Gizio thx
@@lastbornrelic3430 In italian "rubato" translates to "stolen" so you actually "steal" away time in a place making the rythm momentarily faster, and then the stolen time gets used in a place where rythm needs to be slown down a touch. All this, while maintaining the duration of the entire phrase in beats let's say.

I heard this piece in a show once, and it stuck in my head for weeks.
