  • I don't get why people, including Mitch here, are saying that if the overtime rules had not changed, the Chiefs would not have won. The 49ers only scored a field goal. Even under the old rules, the Chiefs would have had a chance to posses the ball. Now, in the regular season, the 10 minute period would have run out and the Chiefs would have lost because of that, but I'm pretty sure that even under the old playoff rules, it was 15 minute periods. Am I missing something?

  • I have been reliving this game, along with Superbowls 54 and 57 over the last 48 hours. I am indifferent about Superbowl 56. I'm pretty sure that covers each of the previous four Superbowls succinctly.

  • So many guys have contributed to this run. We talk a lot about the offensive stars, about Chris Jones and the corner duo, but shoutout to the following guys without whom none of this would have been possible: Nick Allegretti Blake Bell Harrison Butker Leo Chenal Jack Cochrane Chamarri Conner Mike Danna Mike Edwards Willie Gay Noah Gray Creed Humphrey George Karlaftis Jerick McKinnon Mike Pennel Jawaan Taylor Tommy Townsend Drue Tranquill Marquez Valdes-Scantling Justin Watson Turk Wharton James Winchester

  • Last season we lost Lenny and did him proud by winning 57. This year we lore Norma and did her proud by winning 58. I wish NO ill will on anyone but we have some former coaches and a former groundskeeper up in years it isn’t inconceivable that one could pass on. If so you bet we would do them proud by winning 59.
