It was interesting to hear how cavalier the 49ers were about Mahomes and Kelce in the first half, but by tue midway point of the 3rd quarter they were beginning to fear him. Watching 'Inside the NFL," at 1 pt these retired football players could tell they were lying to themselves or trying to convince themselves that Pat wasn't a threat!!!! To me, to be that dense or arrogant, its denial obviously, but REALLY, you are REALLY NOT going to think he's a VERY REAL THREAT, you're NOT dealing with reality!!!! Just maybe if you saw that he is a threat, you would have at least approached them differently!!! PLUS, did they NOT study Patrick Mahomes?!?! TB bragging that quickly in the game, when Patrick I just saw, that out of ANY QB in history, when down in the 4th quarter, has come back 100%!!! They may have factored in playoff games. Brady was next but he even he was like 47% approx & the other highest were like 42%!!! Plus when u only hve 10 pts on the board going into 1/2 whn clearly u did have possession of the ball more in the 1st half, u're in trouble!!! I was glad that I watch a NFL podcast & well known guy in the sports, say that both teams were holding. But that the Chiefs were more flagged than the 49ers!!! He also said, both sides were & often Refs weren't calling it!!!! They've been whining abt that. I should say, it's their fans NOT so much the players!!!!

    • I think it’s rigged through referees and a few key penalties tilted one way. As the saying goes, you could call holding on every play. Picking and choosing when to call those types of close call penalties for maximum impact is how they do it. Very few people would have to be in on it. Close games, more offense, villainous dynasties for casuals to hate, etc are often favored. Gambling means teams that fewer people bet on are more profitable for Vegas and therefore the league. The “sucker born every minute” quote sounds like the hordes of fans who pay for tickets, merchandise, NFL TV access, etc without knowing outcomes are steered for maximum fan engagement and revenue. I still watch because it’s entertaining, like movies and TV shows.

Idk if we win this without the guys we got from the Tyreek trade even if we had Hill. Mcduffie saved a TD on Deebo, had another huge pass deflection on a 3rd down, then that blitz at the end might've been the biggest play of the game. If they get that, they run the clock down to 20 seconds and we have no timeouts. Thats if we even stop them after that. Insane star in the making

Mathieu in his years there had a bunch of sacks with blitzes, now Reid does it really good in that aspect too. Spags man, a great defensive mind
