Can the scroll button be closed in this mouse,and how?
I think I have a slightly older version, mine does not have slots for weights, and the scrolling wheel is not ilumminated.

Bought it, and after 13 months the scroll wheel failed on me. Well it scrolls allright, but it doesn't know if im scrolling up or down while doing it. So very confusing scrolling through websites as it keeps slinging backup instead of down. The actuator is a cheap way to register the scrollwheel... not with the usual 'light gate' and spokes in the wheel that are optically, contactlessly registrered.

I just bought this mouse for way too much. $80 CAD. It was an impulse buy. The mouse looked attractive and I wanted to give omen a try as I've never owned any previous omen products. (I respect omen because I know they started off as Voodoo PC's before they sold out to HP). Was hoping there was going to be some software to customize the DPI and wouldn't mind button remapping either. As for the shape, it is alright, feels too skinny in the palm though,

I've had this mouse for like 2 months now. It's pretty good for the most part, but it has recently started having a double-click issue whenever I click the left mouse button. Also the grip on both sides of the mouse peel. It's kind of annoying that the 'sniper button' that does only 400 dpi while held isn't remappable, and that the dpi button is so big and easy to press on accident. The weights are a nice touch even though with all of them out the mouse is still to heavy for me (personal preference). Also there isn't any software for it and the rgb customization is pretty crap. Honestly though it is a good mouse and I like it quite a bit, just nit picks I have with it mainly.

This mouse is great for fps games because of the sniper button. I don't know about the other mouse never used it.

It takes you 5 seconds to change colors 4 ever but if I click on dpi change it will go back to red and then in order

If you hold both the sniper and and the other side button at the same time, then left click while doing so, it will change the color, and stay that color until you change it again.

Only temporarily though, while the sniper button is held. The lowest dpi it has as a setting is 800.
Trust me 800 dpi is much better

how do you change it
When i hold right click (Zoom in game) And left click (Fire in game) At the same time in 10-15 Second the mouse automatically stops shooting and aiming... Not good for gaming...

unfortunately this mouse on indonesia not famouse, but i like 50 million clicks
1)you can not turn off the light on the buttons 2)you can not turn off sniper mode 3)you can NOT bind sniper mode button in ANY game 4)it does not have any kind of software or customization possible utterly garbage
when i first got the mouse my sniper button worked and a was a little mad i couldn't bind the key but after a while the snipe mode stopped working and i could bind the key again

I have it and it's really bad it breaks really easily and there's an auto click feature the you cant turn off and it messes with your game play
The mouse is garbage for gaming. Holding down the left and right buttons causes it to reset the DPI and in turn reset your mouse. This is a GAMING mouse that cripples you in games. FPS games are the BIGGEST genre there is and a vast majority of them consist of holding right mouse to aim and left mouse to fire. This is a simple concept. How the FUCK do they fuck that up!? It is clear the people who made this mouse are not gamers and had no idea what the hell they were doing. I love how the mouse feels but this oversight makes it damn near unusable might i add this left/right button reset is listed NOWHERE in the mouse manual so the only way you would know its a problem is when it happens to you. And want to know the big kicker? There is no way to fix it! Only thing you can do is buy a new mouse that is better then this glorified peace of shit that they sell for a ridiculous price. I went to a support page and it consisted of people who liked the mouse and wanted to find a way to fix this problem. After much dicking around by the support people they still don't have a answer. Should you get this mouse? Fuck no. You would be better off going to Wal-Mart and buying a 5 dollar mouse then this peace of shit. I'm taking mine back first chance i get.
