In the glamorous world of Hollywood, where dreams come true on the big screen, a fascinating drama is unfolding. It's the kind of story that has fans and industry insiders alike completely hooked. Rachel Zegler, the rising star known for wowing audiences with her talent, now finds herself in an astonishing twist of fate. The bombshell dropped when Brett Cooper was announced as the new Snow White, a role that was initially connected to Zegler.
This unexpected turn of events has set Tinsel Town abuzz with chatter. Brace yourselves for a magical surprise: Brett Cooper will be the fresh face of Snow White in the live-action movie "Snow White" by The Daily Wire. Yes, you heard it right! It looks like Zegler will face some fierce competition, and she's not taking it lightly. She was visibly upset, and the things she said will leave you in awe. To get all the juicy details, make sure to stick around until the end of this video. You won't believe what you're about to hear!
What's truly spicing up this story is the ongoing clash between The Daily Wire and Rachel Zegler, which has been simmering for quite some time. The best part? This enchanting movie is slated to hit screens in 2024, and it gets even more exciting. It's the inaugural major film on their kids' entertainment platform, "BentKey."
In a special announcement to their dedicated team, Jeremy Boring, the visionary behind The Daily Wire, unveiled their unique take on a timeless story. He described it as a tale of a princess and a prince, delving into themes of beauty, vanity, and the profound power of love to lift us from darkness to life. It's their own adaptation of an age-old fairy tale.
Brett Cooper, in her own statement, expressed her excitement about bringing this iconic story to life for the next generation.
Rachel Zegler, the talented Latina star renowned for her role in "West Side Story," has added a bit of spice to the story. Past comments from last year have resurfaced, revealing her reservations about the original Snow White movie. Brett Cooper's recent statement directly contradicts Zegler's views, suggesting that Disney's approach might be misguided.
Another interview snippet from the D23 Expo has caught the attention of social media, and it's all about Rachel Zegler shedding light on her perspective. Speaking with Extra TV, she highlighted an aspect of the original film that has been the subject of discussion. Zegler pointed out that the original Snow White movie placed a strong emphasis on Snow White's love story, which involved a prince who, in her words, "literally stalks her." She found this aspect of the story to be quite odd and went on to explain that the team behind the new adaptation had made significant changes to address this particular element.
The choice to initially cast Rachel Zegler, a talented Latina star known for her role in "West Side Story," initially raised some eyebrows, particularly among conservative circles. The original Brothers Grimm tale described Snow White as having "skin as white as snow," so this decision to cast a Latina actress was seen as a departure from the traditional portrayal. Additionally, there was a noticeable shift in how the seven dwarfs were depicted. In the new adaptation, they transformed into a diverse group of magical beings with various sizes and genders.
A thrilling showdown is brewing, and the excitement is mounting as we eagerly anticipate the unfolding of events. It's becoming increasingly evident that both Disney and The Daily Wire are gearing up for a head-to-head battle. Disney's fresh interpretation of Snow White, focusing on women's empowerment, has definitely stirred the pot. Many fans have voiced their concerns, fearing that this new ideology might threaten to tarnish the beloved legacy of the original 1937 Snow White story.
The clash of ideas is in full swing, promising to be a fascinating spectacle. While fans may have their own visions of the ideal cast, it ultimately falls upon the shoulders of filmmakers to make choices that they believe will bring their creative vision to life. Rachel Zegler is undoubtedly a talented and promising actress, and it's understandable that her fans are disappointed. However, the decision to cast Brett Cooper as Snow White is a reflection of the ever-evolving nature of the film industry.
Another person wrote, “I just watched the trailer. Brett has a beautiful voice! Ziegler claimed she didn't like the character, the story, or any of it. Now she's mad that someone who loves a timeless story is playing the role and probably much better and to greater success. Weird Wierd.”
But what are your thoughts on this? Who do you think will shine in this role? Comment down below, and while we wait for more updates, make sure to like this video and watch the next one for more hot Hollywood tea.

  • The 1937 version is wonderful. It came after many years of depression in the United States. It gave people a chance to escape the harsh reality of living for a few minutes. It’s a very positive story like the original fairy tale which demonstrates how much Snow White is loved and admired by everyone, except the jealous Queen. The Queen’s jealousy consumes her and ultimately destroys her. Good triumphs over evil.

    • First of all the 1937 version is an adaptation of the Brother's Grim tales, which comes from the 18 century I believe. So the story itself is much older than 85 years as that ignoramus little girl said. Secondly, the 1937 movie is meant to bring the best out of people. To show someone so pure that is loved by all, saved those with evil in their hearts, such as the queen. And a love so true, that the price is willing to die for her, a friendship so true, that the dwarves risk their lives to face the Evil Queen trying to protect Snow White. The movie shows us the value of compassion, empathy, love and friendship. How can these things be offensive to any decent human being? It only shows that this Zegler girl know nothing of these, and has none in her heart.

So I'm fine with subverting the original story, which *is* problematic, to make it better: even though I'm not an Angelina Jolie fan, I really, really like the film Maleficent - it's got such a great message. I'm Christian, and a storyteller myself, so I give a lot of thought to what ideas I'm putting into people's heads, intentionally and unintentionally. It's an extremely responsible role, telling stories, because the stories people believe shape their decisions and choices and ultimately their destinies.

While his servants are carrying the case over rough ground, the piece of apple dislodges from her throat, she coughs it out, and comes back to life. The Prince heard about this and gave her a mournful kiss to show respect to the girl he loved. She wakes up and they live happily ever after. • Still don’t get Zegler’s statements of “waiting to be saved by the prince” or “a guy that literally stalks her” The prince, in the ‘37 film, only came for a few minutes to admire Snow White’s singing by singing to her. He then disappeared for most of the film cuz he has his own kingdom and responsibilities to tend to. Then he heard the message that she died and he came to pay his respects with a kiss and mourn the loss of the princess. All because the truth of true love’s kiss being the antidote died with the evil queen! That’s why they were all surprised that she woke up after he kissed her. Snow was already a kind, humble, hardworking, and caring leader. She leads with grace and humility that gave the dwarves reason to respect and follow her instructions. They even defended her after the evil queen poisoned her and cared for the princess when they thought she was gone.

That shows Snow's strong and unbreakable will. She also loved everything for what it was and even shared her love with others (The dwarves and animals). Even the Huntsman was moved by Snow's act of kindness to a small baby bird, that he told her to run away so he won't do what the Queen asked of him. I was hoping the writers and actors strikes would linger on to the point where Disney would crash and burn, but you can't always get what you want. I will definitely check out Brett as Snow White. • RZ in my eyes comes across as totally oblivious to the fact that the “kiss” is original in the Disney 1937 adaptation not the grim Grimm Brothers originals. In one Grimm version the prince doesn’t kiss the sleeping Snow but rather is taking Snow whom he believes is deceased away for a proper final resting place. En route, the apple piece is jarred and falls out of Snow’s mouth and she recovers. While one might not have a high opinion of “Snow White and the Huntsman,” try to find Kristen Stewart’s interview; based on Stewart’s presentation her Snow is someone I would follow in a rebellion versus an evil sorceress queen. IMO given how RZ comes across RZ’s Snow would become the sort of leader that would be the evil queen 2.0.

Walt's crowning achievement was the first full length feature film that was animated and it was expected that it would bomb. Quite the opposite happened and rather than destroying the company, it made it the wonderful corporation that brought joy, imagination, creativity and hope to children and adults everywhere. Disneyland was a wonderful family vacation spot, now it is filled with "Disney adults" trying to relive their childhood and it will never be the same. If Walt and Roy could see down from heaven, and I believe they can, they are applauding the Daily Wire and their courage and bravery for emulating the original Disney beginnings along with their vision, purpose and values. As to the arrogance of todays Disney executives that so flippantly responded to their consumer base as they voiced their concerns, they stated: "If you don't like OUR movie, make one of your own!" Challenge accepted, so why are you so angry??? But hear this Disney, regardless of what you do from this point on, you have lost this fan from purchasing ANYTHING from you EVER again. • @ethandollarhide7943 hey, I think I came off a bit wrong, sorry about that. I agree that the world is a different place & there is definitely opportunity to explore all the nuances within storytelling. However, I feel Disney's remakes are trying too hard to include these issues that are more openly accepted nowadays & therefore just messing up the stories. Why not create something new that we can love alongside the classics & love the messages & values both can teach, as well as point out/remind us of the flaws of the past (goodness knows everything is more clear in hindsight & progression) so they are not repeated. But everything I hear about this Snow White remake in particular doesn't bode well & they really chose someone who is very unfit for the lead. The fact that she doesn't think true love is relevant anymore is concerning not only for more traditional people but also for the LGBTQ community. I'm mainly advocating for good storytelling, creative ideas that actually work (instead of bombing at the box office seemingly before it's even released), choosing actors that fit the role (in their attitude & values), & respecting everyone's views. Sorry again that I came off the wrong way. & yes I like that the original Brothers Grimm tales are more raw & dark, that's why I'm interested to see how someone will try to make an adaptation; who knows, they could come off super sappy & I could end up hating it, but I'm more willing to give it a try over a remake that seems to have a ton of issues attached to it. Edit/Add On: There's also the issue that some stories are set in a specific time period & place in the world. The continuity of that time period & culture of the time should be present. If not, then reset the time period to be modern day or even turn it into a blatant spoof (for example, Young Frankenstein is a spoof of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein). The remake has also been struggling with simply casting actual little people into the role the dwarves originally had & trying to bring awareness of what people with dwarfism went through in that time period & therefore give proper/better representation to their community too.

    • @ethandollarhide7943 First off, sorry for my word dumps, it's how I present my thoughts. Second, I didn't mean for my comments to turn into a big thing, sorry for ruffling anyone's feathers. You may not believe me when I say, I understand your anger & frustration. There have been countless times that I've had a viewpoint that others simply wouldn't even entertain because they were the majority opinion. Everyone has opinions that deserve to be heard & respected. But instead of giving into anger & acting antagonistic, perhaps try to create an open discussion where you can backup your points with facts or examples so others will actually listen & respect you, even if they don't fully agree on a particular subject. Of course, there will always be people out there who won't listen to anything but the sound of their own voice. They, unfortunately, are better off left alone because they will not change. As for liking things that have "Woke Ideology," I personally don't have a problem with that. I do have a problem with storytelling that falls short of what it could have been. I'd love to see a woke movie that knocks my socks off & becomes a beloved edition to my library, as well as a good example for kids! Sadly, Disney is not currently accomplishing that for me with their remakes. The remakes so far are not horrible, but they feel like half-baked leftovers that will eventually be seen as nothing more than novelties instead of fresh new stories. That may be a start, but it doesn't seem fair for woke ideals to just get shoved into a lackluster regurgitation that others can pick apart & make fun of. If they're gonna do a remake for the woke generation, how about doing it right; from scratch, like they did to begin with. Give a fully new story without insulting or erasing their legacy. An additional note on Zegler, she may have the best intentions, but she has not been handling herself well as a roll model meant to embody Snow White. I hope she learns how to compose herself better & express her ideas in a less brash/insulting way.

  • When you read about the intricacies of Snow White as a character, you come to realize that she is actually a very great woman character throughout most fictional writing. She's not a heroine go-getter like Mulan, or a bratty yet brave mermaid-gone-human like Ariel...but she is charitable and loving to all things, and is very supportive and helpful to others who need love and support (as she does for the dwarves)! Brett made a very brief, but well-rounded response encapsulating pretty much why Snow White is such an honoring role to play, and why she's excited to play her. Brett's comment and response to playing the loving and adoring maiden in blue and white speaks in an honoring, and humble tone. Meanwhile, you get Rachel who comes right out and speaks hard against the old format, the old character, and how it's bad that Snow White is a damsel in distress. In addition, how because of Snow White being this movie from the 30s, it's now deemed irrelevant, and that SHE will be the one to pave a new way forward for the character/story. How prideful, arrogant, and rude to the original source material YOU will be starring after! That's the equivalent to mocking old scientists for discovering something, and then replacing their sound discovery with your own findings, WITHOUT crediting or acknowledging how your findings improved an old formula, that would be impossible without recognizing the old way it was done; in other words: you spit on a dead scientist's memory because they were wrong, but YOU got it right, so they don't matter anymore! Bottom line: Brett respects and loves the heck out of the Grimm's source material, while Rachel has shown none for it. This should be the first thing an actor/actress shows in their acquiring of a role: understanding and respecting the character, fictional or non-fictional, they are about to play and represent. They are allowed to hate the character, but they also must respect it.

I would too!

You can tell she didnt watch the movie or try to appreciate it, as an actor you're supposed to study the roll and become it. Theres no remaking the originals and theyll never compare. The only good, creative retelling so far was maleficent imo. Dont like brett cooper, personally but she looks gorgeous there and at least she loves snow white... • If you ask me I honestly don't care, but the thing that disappoints me a lot is when they keep saying they're going to do a live version of the anime and end up being just not the live version but their own original remake of their own version of this particular princess movie, I'm okay when they do their own interpretation and make their own versions of classic fairy tale stories making them powering making the princesses heroin, but at the same time it be disappointing to people who grew up on these movies, it's fine when you announce when you say you're making your own original version of the movie, like you write your own story your version of it, how you wanted to write your favorite Disney princess to be but when you say you releasing a live classic of it you should stick to the original story cuz when you say you were releasing a live classic you should release it how the story is written, there's a difference between you releasing a live original version of this Disney character and then there's a difference when you say you releasing your own original version of this Disney movie, so you can't really get mad at the fans cuz when you basically mislead them, suddenly your doing a live version of it when it's not the actual live version of it, it's your own story and your own interpretation of this character either release the original classic or get people to let everyone know this is a different version and a interpretation of the story because it's not a live version of the anime it's your own original story, so fans won't be so disappointed I'm pretty sure there are a lot of fans out there who don't mind seeing different versions of this story but when you make them think you're going to release the original live version of it and then just to disappoint them by saying you doing your own version of it you can't really blame them when they get disappointed and offended especially when your trash talk horribly about a beloved Disney princess cuz you're playing this character, but you have no connection with her whatsoever and you have no desire to actually just stick to the original version you made up of your own, it's fine to do your own live-action version of Snow White but don't trash the character that everybody have held dearly to their hearts their entire childhood if you don't like her you have no business playing her.

They both are obviously attracted to each other but before the chance arises to meet again she goes missing(poisoned). The man finds a way to save her (a true loves kiss). Would zegler want someone she sees as a possible love interest to save her or is he to creepy? She obviously just doesn’t understand the story, which makes sense as she hasn’t even finished her first viewing of it. This just makes sense for Disney honestly, seen it in marvel after Star Wars.
