In the wild, predators already have an edge over their prey, whether it's strength, speed, or immunity to venoms.
Being a predator is not easy, every day they take risks to secure their food.
Amidst these struggles, some are incredibly horrifying and surprising events.
In this episode, we gather some of the best moments ever captured on camera in "30 Horrific Ways Predators Kill Their Prey".
Let's get started!
During the great migration in Kenya, zebras had to take risks to cross a river filled with hungry crocodiles.
These zebras crossed with anxiety, while the crocodiles were contemplating which one they wanted for lunch.
After thinking for a while, the crocodile finally chose a medium-sized zebra that leaped right in front of its eyes.
The same thing happened to a herd of gazelles during their annual migration.
This gazelle had seen the crocodiles, but it still decided to leap into the river.
The herd quickly followed, and there was no turning back!
The grand feast for the crocodiles officially began..
Even near the finish line, the threat was still very real.
The hungry orcas were on the prowl when they found a sea lion in the midst of a large ice floe.
The orcas then called their friends, and the sea lion just looked on casually, feeling secure, a mistake that would cost dearly!
Simultaneously, the orcas created waves beneath the ice, causing it to break into numerous pieces.
At this point, the sea lion began to panic.
The orcas then nudged the smaller ice fragments into a more open area.
Here, we could see the sea lion's face already resigned.
The orcas then executed their ultimate attack, causing the sea lion to plunge into the water.
It was only a matter of time before the sea lion became dinner for the whales.
Truly, the intelligence and coordination of these orcas are astonishing!
