I was homeless 16 years old( white girl) in south Africa and the street children in hillbrow looked after me when I got on my feet and went looking for them most had died. This man shows that we as south African people can live together (I knew this back then) but our government divides us. Bless you. Sir 🙏

I'm from Chicago area all ages are homeless it hungry or don't have parents or electricity etc ... I'm the US the money is with the very few. There is an extremely large monetary disparity gap.

The father can work at a car wash, fast food restaurant, recycling centers, janitor etc. Plentybof entry level jobs out there. As a father, I do whatever it takes to feed my children and give them a roof over their head, even if it meant I had to work 3 jobs every day. Im sure the excuses will come in from all the snowflakes.

@@ramonlgarcia9036 If he's by himself...it's hard when you first start working b/c you have to have at least two paychecks to qualify for any type of childcare assistance. She seems to be under elementary school age as well...so you have to shell out the money for childcare for at least a month before you can qualify for assistance OR find an employer who is fine with you bringing your child to work with you. Hopefully, he has a home b/c most shelters won't take a dad and young girl. Hell, most shelters are women's shelters and won't accept men or take male children once they hit 14...at least near me, that's how they are. It's easy to judge until you have to live that life. If I didn't have a least a little support, I would've been screwed tbh.

I don't cry often, but this has me in tears. I've been in his spot before, and know that this man is filled with nothing but worry, fear, and sadness. You can see it in his face. What you did for these 2 is so kind. They woke up that day hungry and sad, never thinking for a second that someone would show that they actually care. It a universal thing I seen it in California where working class people live in there car because they can’t afford rent they have just decided to keep the car payment and insurance on their vehicle get free food take shower in the gym it becomes a survival mechanism, in one of the richest country in world people are suffering another I was watching where went president Dixion was in power he vowed to wipe hungry in the USA and it still there because it was one place where the community depend on the coal mining for their living after the factory closed down other factors come in there start business, it just keep going down it become the way of life there some families go hungry have to skip a meal to give the younger ones shamefulness the children rely on the school program to have a good meal, and when school is out a truck goes around to supply the children with food, they so depend on the system it makes them don’t see another way out or maybe they don’t want to associate themselves to outsider 🤷🏽♀️they set in their ways

My uncle was like this except he had nothing and always tried feeding everyone on the street that was hungry or giving friends a couch to sleep on, than he got a check for 15k gave it out to family but everyone left after his money ran out, he passed away and so did my mom who was 43 lbs in a wheelchair but they were the nicest humans ever miss them so much i helped them out

im a 62 year old ex merchant mariner. im crying like a baby. this act of kindness has really touched my soul. because of this video, im going down to my local salvation army center this morning and giving two hundred bucks for the hungry people in my town of port Angeles, wa. thank you for the motivation.

I am South African and I can tell you that this is typically how the young (Afrikaans white) kids normally would walk around. So it's not at all weird for Afrikaans white people to walk around barefoot (in the shops etc) Yes, in this instance the family might also not have the means to afford shoes for her but even if they had the means I think the little girl would have probably still been barefoot.

This world would be a much brighter place. My youngest son and I were homeless once. Most people acted like we were invisible or diseased. There were a few Angels like you who helped us. When you give, don't ask what they are using it for, most of them just want to fill their bellies. When you give, give with your heart or don't give at all. You are blessed to give to anyone in need. And you Will be blessed. One never knows when they might be in the same place. At any time! It will make your heart soar to put a smile on their face. Nothing better than that!

I came across a subreddit for homeless people and you will be surprised how many of them work but it is actually not enough to get them off the streets. Also, no place will actually keep them as an employee long term due to them being homeless so they are usually just there temporary. These are people without kids now when you add in a kid things are a lot tougher due to the fact he has no place to drop the kid off while he’s working
@@udhehfhehcuw9169 I guess it’s easier said when you’re on the outside looking in. Many homeless people don’t have family they can turn to in times of need otherwise they wouldn’t be on the streets. A lot of the things we have and think is simple to achieve is a lot harder when you literally have nothing but the clothes on your back. Maybe take a look at the homeless reddit and you would have a better understanding from their point of view. All I’m saying is don’t judge if you don’t know their situation

Damn bro and I thought I was doing something when I gave a young man a slice and pizza and some water the other day .Also gave him $3 dollars he told me he was gonna cry. @@largol33t1 I agree with every word you said. I live in San Diego, Ca ine of the most posh places on the planet, and there are literally thousands of homeless people and families in poverty.
The problem is, it’s easy to forget the bad apples that ruin it for everybody. I agree with YOU 100% but there has been times that I’ve encountered people just like that and then all of a sudden you see them lying about everything that they tell you because when you follow them, they’re not homeless. It breaks my heart. Good people suffer for the bad deeds of others. Not everybody has the time to confirm whether or not it is a legitimate family in need. Sure you can always give without with thinking, but at some point, people need to be more honest about these types of issues
