I can bet you that Wilt and Oscar Robertson didnt have Jordan up their with the greats even after they saw him win. Different eras different opinions. Eventually their era fizzled out and the nba grew with Jordan and he became the standard. It will be the same with Lebron. Watch, give it about 10 years from now Lebron will be considered by most people (from 10-35 age) to be the GOAT. GOAT requirements change with the eras or decades.

Sort of remind me of shaq a young shaq in orlando actually had some moves drop steps jump hooks off the glass turning back right and over the left shoulder, he was using feet work but in los angeles he abandoned a lot of the moves stopped running the floor and instead tried to bully everyone to the basket.

    • True. It's evolution. When moving from miami back to cleveland that's when all the Curry, Klay and Golden State talk started heating it. It became a 3pt league and he was adapting (trying) to that. Then when he moved from Cleveland to LA; he knew he was getting older and not anywhere as quick and athletic as he used to be (plus the injuries). So he knew the way to continue impacting the game was going to be his size and basketball IQ.

And even though Paul Pierce is an L.A. guy and I do my best to reserve some justice for him, I'm completely done with that now. It's crazy how when a player is still playing his worth and value isn't appreciated. But once they've retired and been out of the league 4-6 years, all of a sudden those that were hating while that player was still playing, slowly start to come around and show a little love. Paul Pierce is just mad he only got one ring for his entire career. And if he was all that, why didn't he get his beloved Celtics squad to the finals more often or win more than just that one ring? The answer is simple. He just wasn't that damn good to cary a team like a LaBron James did in Cleveland.

While LaBron James is a sure-shot 1st ballot HOF'er, he's going about his business in a very professional manner. Never NOT ONCE ever in his professional career has he ever been in any kind of trouble or controversy on or off the court. And please don't tag me and say when he left Cleveland and said on t.v. he's taking his talents to South Beach. I'm a Lakers fan to the core of my soul, and I wasn't hardly offended by him choosing to seek playing elsewhere by him becoming a free agent. He never asked to he traded. He played out his entire contract. So why did so many people take offense to him choosing to exercise his free agency? Just pure hatred. (Nothing against that) But his reasoning for being upset at Lebron at the time of leaving was because he "promised" he wouldn't leave until he brought Cleveland a ring. And that he choose to make a special out of his announcement. Even though it came out later that a fan suggested it and it generated money to go towards charity, my friend still can't let go of that hate. He would put Lebron in top 10 all time simply to avoid the backlash of being called a hater. Jordan fans will hate anyone who threatens his legacy, Kobe fans will hate anyone who threatens his legacy, and Lebron fans will do the same. I'm a fan of Jordan and Lebron. You say Jordan is the GOAT? I won't argue that. You say Lebron is the GOAT? I won't argue that. But people just need to hate. Like you said, pure hatred. I explained it like Lebron was married to the CAVS. They didn't give to the relationship (help with roster) So Lebron had to leave or else he'd keep taking crap to the finals and be 0-12 or whatever. A man so good that brings a team to 50-60 wins every year is never going to get his team a lottery pick. He had to leave so the CAVS could get a good pick in the draft.
