I agree. It is entertaining because of the amusement and sheer audacity. But I think when they beat other players with skill & ability, it is more audacious and more quality entertainment. Like isco, marcelo & modric. Not taking anything away from Ronnie. Its just blown out of proportion. His United days were good. But I can name 100 players who were better at beating defenders. His change of pace and thinking speed are deadly, I would say Zidane had more efficiency and grace in his body movement, there are many others with individual skills better than Ronaldo, but Ronaldo is the complete package. I would say Ronaldo was a more deadly player overall than any other footballer ever accept Messi, but i think a lot of appreciation for different styles of football is lost, if we turn this in to the best at everything contest. Just appreciate the different styles, and when you try to emulate your idols, remember not every style will suit your body and the game you're playing, have a wider appreciation for the art of football, and don't just think "Ronaldo or Messi", try to pass like Beckham, understand the game like Scholes, have efficiency of movement like Zidane, you won't achieve it probably, but you will have a greater and deeper appreciation for the game, such a shame that all the old clips are not HD.

I think it's about the level of comfort he shows. His change of pace and thinking speed are deadly, I would say Zidane had more efficiency and grace in his body movement, there are many others with individual skills better than Ronaldo, but Ronaldo is the complete package. I would say Ronaldo was a more deadly player overall than any other footballer ever accept Messi, but i think a lot of appreciation for different styles of football is lost, if we turn this in to the best at everything contest. Just appreciate the different styles, and when you try to emulate your idols, remember not every style will suit your body and the game you're playing, have a wider appreciation for the art of football, and don't just think "Ronaldo or Messi", try to pass like Beckham, understand the game like Scholes, have efficiency of movement like Zidane, you won't achieve it probably, but you will have a greater and deeper appreciation for the game, such a shame that all the old clips are not HD.
