what a cool but strange airframe. This was an eventful maiden flight for sure. cant believe it survived to fly again.

I go clean my garage, and feel I’ve accomplished something and then I come to your video of a daily new airplane and I’m exhausted. Keep it up , I enjoy every one
Lol thanks 🙏
Honestly idk why that airplane gets so much hate I think it looks adorable 😂
Remember these advanced jets were designed to be astable and need electronics and vectored thrust to keep them in the air. That said, you do a very good job of getting them up and going fast. Good work. Maybe make one with a tilt thrust nozzle and see how it handles.
That’s true! They’re inherently unstable and run on fly by wire flight control aka gyro. I had to take some liberties to make it fly without any electronics. You read my mind. I will be adding vector for pitch
I remember that plane, it looked a bit strange. Good job modeling it
Such a happy looking plane.
Wow I’m so impressed at how fast you are able to pump out these aircraft! What printer do you have and do you have just one or are you using multiple?
Thanks! Yes I have two Bambu printers
The intake looks like a mouth saying: Durrrr! 😂 You are an EDF Jet printing machine. Something new in my inbox almost every day. Excellent KZhead Subscription investment. lol
Much appreciated!!
I love your smile mr airplane ❤
Really nice ! Good job!
cant wait for the files to drop on this one, looks like a tank! please release these!
Soon! Printing another now
Hey man, what servos do you use for the control surfaces if you don't mind me asking? Thanks a lot!

Thanks!!
when a design has inherent tail-heaviness in its dom, it is extra important to TUNE the dom. distribution of mass. therefore, the location of the Mass of all the control components should be Optimal. to the extent practical, 'added' mass should be concentrated near the point where the center of mass (c-m) is SUPPOSED to be located. that is, at a point in the thrust line that vertically aligns with twenty-five percent of mac. if full scale, this means the c-m might almost be coincident with the cg line. in the case of a tiny model aircraft, the separation of the two will also be minute. in the case of a highly swept wing, the cg line will be near fifty percent of root chord.
It's weird that you experienced torque roll. If it happens in flight then the EDF unit might not have enough fins to straighten the airflow leaving the EDF.
Yeah some jets are worse than others. Actually it’s pretty simple. It’s a matter of the rotating torque or the motor vs the mass of the plane from the center line. The x32 has stubby wings so that may be a reason. Usually don’t feel it past low speed flight
@@hotlapkyle You are right. Torque roll with an EDF can come from two things, rotating air exiting the duct, and the effect of the motor accelerating. It is probably much worse with outrunner motors vs inrunner motors. But it should be possible to just counter it with aileron/roll trim.
Would love to see a video on the design and print of one of these models. Cheers 🙂
You read my mind!
@@hotlapkyle Awesome. Thanks so much!
Have you made the yf 23 black widow? (pretty sure that’s what it’s called)
You should join my FB group. I just dropped the YF23 rough design
@@hotlapkylesorry for the late reply but what’s the name of your Facebook group? I don’t see a link in description or channel. Cheers mate

Even models have the Boeing curse.
Hahaaa
where do you get the STLs for these models?
I design them. They can be found by clicking the link in my KZhead description
@@hotlapkyle ive beden looking for the x-32 and yf-23 models all over the place.. but i don't see the x-32 on your site..
proof that even the most visually impaired aircraft can be made to look attractive when small 😄
😂
:12 the air intake opening is too 'contoured', for an edf system. this is so bc, a fan does not draw like an Engine does.! compare the f-16 or a-7 intakes.
2:34 WHAT are you talking about. these contours have Nothing to do with thrust.! 2:46, 3:20 bc the balance is/was wonky.
2:06 appears to Forward of optimal.
new camera has some great quality.
I agree! The old one was a hero 9 black so not a bad one
What do the 50 & 64 mm mean?
The diameter of the ducted fan inside.
50mm edf unit. The fan system that powers the planes. I start with 50mm and then scale them up larger
2:15 this asymmetrical exit opening design is BAD. turbulence will cause a significant reduction in thrust.!
Get a bungee launcher that used the pin method for the hook.
Oof thats a shame
👍💪✌️
Yeah most EDF deltas are a little tail heavy 😂
What the hell is that rubber band? Haven't seen the full video yet
To hold the canopy on! That’s how I fly all my first flights. Can’t waste time gluing and wasting magnets with a high probability of a crash lol
I NEED ONE
Great plane but kinda looks like a f8e if your high enough
If the plane is flying at high altitude it looks the same or does it look the same if take too many drugs?
@@toolbaggers second option lmao
@@toolbaggers do you work for the government?
Your launches need work, far too much up.
Did you watch the whole video? It was tail heavy. Watch the second 😉😉
@@hotlapkyle I did and your first launch was to high an angle. The second was better.
Wow you talk alot
I hate to be "that guy" but it is not "She flies good." It is "She flies WELL." Sorry, just had to say it.
The little pilot catapulted himself? You did not show the catastrophic spot of damage… I’m disappointed Don’t do like that to me!
Hahaha you like the carnage
