Same, all the shit I had that played cds I busted out when I got the albums wouldn’t work, the tray wouldn’t open in my book shelf cd/cassette/radio player, the cd reader in my old Walkman was busted too and my laptop doesn’t have a disc reader installed in it. I'm supposed to go to a protest at my hospital today because I'm about to lose my job for noncompliance for the jab. Thanks for the confidence booster... UPDATE: WOW, I didn't expect this to blow up like it did, thanks for everyone's support makes me feel not so alone! I'm an ICU RN and have been in the middle of this since the beginning, so I know what I'm dealing with more than most. Also just wanted to tell everyone how the protest went, we had our head of neurosurgery MD out there protesting with us while our CEO sat up at the top of the hill watching. Our neurosurgeon must know something others don't. But we had three or four different reporters out there documenting the situation, and the support from the travelers on the road was overwhelming. It’s not a liberty vs safety statement and it does not contradict your comment that in order ‘to be safe you need to be free’, in fact it supports that notion. It proclaims that we should NEVER relinquish any of your liberty for the sake of short term safety. Our rights as person should always remain in tact regardless of whether we’re safe or not. This warning from Ben Franklin was specifically to address times of crisis when people are afraid and more apt to be willing to relinquish some of their liberty in order to be more safe in the short term. The Patriot Act is an excellent example of this.
