Blind Reaction: Can People Tell The Difference Between Clone Fragrances & The Original?
We're back with another blind reaction video. We have 10 bags with test strips inside each. The bags are batched in pairs. Each pair has an original fragrance and clone fragrance. We're asking each one of our guests to try and figure out which fragrance is this original and which one is the clone. At the end of this video, we'll see how many each guest got right and how many they got wrong. We hope you enjoy!

don't know if it was just his t-shirt but find it SO refreshing the idea of you including a blue-collar worker in there rather than just young professional twenty-somethings... people only ever focus diversity on skin colour but there's so much more to it than that!

Gab has a fantastic sense of smell, not only did she get all 5 right but she also recognized one of them. I would trust her taste in perfumes 100%.
In all fairness, I think Jae is just as much a connoisseur as Gab. I could trust her judgment with my life
you should include the part where you reveal the price difference of all of the perfumes and their clones and ask them if they will spend money on the original or just buy the clone

We did a smaller one at the end revealing. If people like this concept we can revisit this!

@@BaldassarreFragrance maybe some kind of bloopers video (?). I assume that from one side it's too early for a separate channel for that. On the other hand why not? Maybe that would be the right place for that kind of content for people even more interested in seeing that kind of stuff

Hands down always the best blind tests! You do everything you can to avoid testers bias and fallacies. Love the mix of tester personalities. But definitely did miss having tressa on the panel haha…she’s the best! Keep up all the great work on this and your wristwatch channels! Been some of my favorite channels over the past few years!

What I find interesting is CDNIM’s performance on paper vs skin. On paper it’s very faint and doesn’t develop, but on skin there’s massive imprinting and it pushes off the skin beautifully.

@@LoLeQ88 There’s no denying that CDNIM smells like a chemical mess up close haha. However, this thing is a compliment beast and is very well received by others around me. Because of that, it’s a really good “going out/clubbing fragrance” for me. The longevity and sillage on it is unreal even with 2-3 sprays.

Loooove this and am surprised if it isn't your most viewed segment but I have two suggestions: tell the price difference at the end and ask if it's worth it. And do a Zara hall because they have the best priced clones out there, my far.

I loved the end! I think revealing the price of each of the perfumes and asking them if the original is worth the cost would be a nice addition! Sure, Creed Aventus smells nice! But does it smell $200 nice?

This is so tricky, if you have the direct comparison on a paper strip you can definitely smell a difference, on skin as well. But if you're smelling it in the air when someone passes you by, no chance you could tell if the parfum is fake or not even though you are very familiar with the original scent. Interesting video

I have Armaf Club de Nuit which is a clone of Creed Aventus. It costed me around $50, while Creed Aventus costs more than $300 for a very small bottle. Would definitely recommend getting the clone.

I remember commenting on her nose back when they 1st started their fragrance channel together and she was amazing at identifying notes in fragrances even back then.

I love Aventus and wear it everyday as my signature smell but there is no way i would recommend anybody to spend 300$ bucks on it - its just not 10x better than the Armaf.

Same here! I have a bottle of Creed Aventus that I've had for years. I love it, but only marginally more than Armaf CDNI. Aventus is definitely not worth the difference in price.
@@eveyoung3656 There are some exceptional ones that are worth it, also niche doesn't mean high-end so not per se expensive. A Montale/Mancera frag can be discounted to even 60 euro's for a 100/120ml. But even if we looked at the expensive ones, I'd say some are worth it even for the average joe. Like PdM Laytion or Amouage Epic
Get the limited addition version of armaf , it's 60 bucks but much smoother.

I've heard many things about Aventus vs CDNIM, like how the Aventus just smells slightly smoother and a little more natural than the CDNIM, but never have I heard that CDNIM is so weak that you can't even pick up the smell on a test strip, even if you tried so hard?. Lol I'm although pro Aventus... But this honestly sounds like foul play.
I thought the same.. CDNIM is not very weak.. so maybe they missed the strip? They made it easy to spot Also skin is diff..

you cant go wrong with Rouge 540 is worth it and yeah ariana Cloud if you dont have the budget but if you can definitely get Rouge , another compliment getter is Acqua Di Gio and well if your really in a tight boudget red 360 is half the price and still good

Funny thing is aventus creed doesn't last as long as club de Nuit intense and that's why people prefer it more, I would've went with the limited edition to test as it's the best out of the 3 versions of CDNI
