As a person that worked in a hospital that required me to hang around the morgue I've seen worse things in real life. Even got to handle dismembered human parts. It was probably just instinct, but it has the side effect of letting other drivers know that “something is happening.” Would rather them honk than not, after thinking about it

Sometimes people get caught in-between the drop down gates and they don't know what to do, they think they have to get out and leave the car, hell just drive through it, they'll snap right off, don't know if that's what's going on here but it does happen.
