  • You're the only youtube who is doing this game justice by sticking to your morals and creating an interesting narrative, rather than taking the options that will benefit your stats the most. Big like!! (Rip Sophia tho)

    • Thank you!! I'm gonna be honest, the deeper into this game I get, the more I'm regretting the decision to not see what's the outcomes are in advance but I'm still happy I decided to do it this way! It makes it a lot more brutal!!

  • Currently binge watching this and i don't understand how this doesn't have more views you have a voice like a professional voice actor and are able to convey actual emotion doing different voices while also keeping your audience entertained with your normal commentary

  • I constantly find myself going back-and-forth with your play through. When you do something different for me I go “Ouch, that’s gonna hurt later,” but when you do something I did I go “DAMN IT DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT SO I CAN SEE HOW PAINFUL IT CAN GET”

    • It really does be painful a lot of the time!! My natural playthrough of this did not go well at all but in future videos I covered every possible outcome (I think, anyway 😅)

  • I’m going through this let’s play for the first time and I’m already enjoying it. I recently got my preferred noble Brante outcome recently and I’m satisfied with that, the first time I ended up doing a bad thing at the end lol

    • @@ButtonPushinCushion Indeed! I feel pain because you stat-screwed yourself out of the other paths. Its a small detail now but I pray for your Brante later on in the playthrough, and I hope you don't end up with TOO bad an ending lmao. Ohhh boy!

    • @@ButtonPushinCushion Man if you played Noble and got the chance, you would have LOVED duelling Stephan, thats an option IK many fans would DIE for, and I was lucky enough to get it on my first playthrough lol Its narratively beautiful though, in all seriousness, tragic really.

  • Oh I HATED Sophia! I knew she was slimy. She seems too brash of a leader is far from level headed. Even as a girl when she escaped I understand her plight, but leading from anger is no way to lead. I think your Brante is a more competent leader than she ever could be.

    • She's like this because you didn't defend her from the Ottons, which grants her the "Embittered." Traits. If you stand up to them or help her flee, she retains more of her humanity.

    • I really wanted to but I screwed my chances with the stats, which is basically the entire story of my relationship with Sophia in this playthrough, haha

    • @@ButtonPushinCushion skill locks are way too severe. They could fix this without spoiling the RP element with outcome reveals that encourage min-maxing just lowering them by a point or two here and there, or adding a point or even just half a point to events that just increase relationship or willpower, maybe lower willpower gain in turn. Like, seriously, my first play-through I had max willpower most of the time, but annoyingly, it's basically useless in some of the events that require it. Amazing writing, outstanding visual novel, but needs to take a page from interactive fiction games of the past and lower the damned costs, because that and reveal system undermine what this game is good at.

    • I agree with that 100%! I know I've played through it a lot with the outcomes turned on now but this initial playthrough with them turned off was my favourite because I felt so much more immersed but it was SO harsh and I felt like I was constantly being punished!! I has the same issue with willpower as well, by the time I had it I had nothing to really use it on!

  • Dang. Just started watching this series. Well done, by the way. But dang, those stats suck. Moving forward it looks like this Brante is going to be an incompetent ideologue. I get that this is a recording of your first play through and you went with your gut, good for you, but I don’t see your Sir Brante living long or changing anything.

  • 10:48 - If you want to find out if the Lots are a man-made system, I think you should attend more theology stuff and become a priest. Seriously, all it took was one girl who told you exactly what you wanted to hear, and you immediately believed her? Not considering she could just be a heretic seeking to lure you from the path of righteousness? I think one mistake people make with religious communities is that they assume the gods are inherently benevolent and care for humanity. When in fact, our mythology is full of stories which prove the exact opposite to be the case. More often than not, the gods seem to regard humanity as playthings for their amusement.
