@@Grebanche Veil of discord reduces magic resistance which doesn't do anything for true damage, what you need is E blade which increases spell damage taken.
It worked like that, but now it increase dmg of spells, even puff from meepo get amplified
@@Eko_Kats Meepo's W is magic damage, so ofc it amps it. Veil only works with magic damage not pure or physicial damage.

it has so much potential yet they only add normie crap in. "OMFG IT'S LINA"...who cares. there's so much they could add, lmfao just think Io and Marci having a conversation. that'll never happen. where's ursa? furbolgs could have hidden conclave fighting the blood thirsty war elves...nah. what about nagas? nope can't have them. need the milquetoast characters to draw in normies. series is redundant high fantasy.
In all sincerity, this perfectly captures the essence of what makes this great. First 90% of the trailer is straight-as-the-arrow-flies, follows all the usual tropes, last 5 seconds is "That's a lotta fucking dragons". Love it.
Wow Riki, Bounty Hunter and Nyx looked damn good!
I also spotted some scenes with Clinkz, Treant Protector and a griefer with a shadow amulet at the T1 mid.

Am i the only one who saw BH in the anime series? No joke, he was one of the bandits that attacked DK.
After 9 years of DOTA this series had gave me the will power to memorize all of invoker's spells and now I'm pretty good at it.

I've never played a MOBA game in my life and knew absolutely nothing about DOTA lore and I absolutely enjoyed Season 1. The first Episode was rough, but it just got better and better with each Episode and I found myself wanting to know what happens next after Episode 8. Can't wait for Season 2.
this is a story long ago before they become a hero, simply this is original story, but if you play the game before its just make it better

@@zackgameplays8119 Arcane has a way higher budget so it's not really fair to compare both shows in terms of aesthetics (sound and graphic design aswell as animation) anyway.
From the Ghastly Eyrie I can see to the ends of the world, and from this vantage point I declare with utter certainty that this one is in the bag!

Maybe they should fix everything else about this fake anime? For example: awful character designs, plot that doesn't make sense even in dota lore, pretentious edginess, abominable 3D, choppy 2D, boring "action" etc etc etc. There's literally nothing the show did right aside from maybe marketing.

As someone who knows nothing about DOTA, I thought season 1 was a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to season 2.

The lore and skill cap of the game is something few games can acomplish If you wanna join the boat, do it, the game is worth it as long as you ignore the toxicity :)

This series is lit, same studio that did Voltron: Legendary Defenders but I hope Netflix doesn’t screw up again and put a major spoiler in their thumbnail.
They also did Legend of Korra.
I hope the writers don't do the mind fucking weird thing they did with voltron, best show season 1 with a weird hard to qualify end season T_T-

@@ricardocabrera8344 One thing to keep in mind is that Studio MIR is just the animation studio for many of the series they're known for working on and don't have a role in much else. Nickelodeon and DreamWorks were the head studios for Korra and Voltron respectively and responsible for the story. From what I've learned studio MIR is the lead studio on DOTA with Ashley Edward Miller leading the project and writing the story. Miller's filmography is pretty solid from what I could learn. I heard the big problem with Voltron was that there was a lot of executive meddling in the story which lead to the story suffering and then the writing team quitting and the story hitting the fan in the later seasons as a result.
Let's hope the wait is worth it because this series has sooo much potential

I ended first book recently. I gotta admin, i loved the story of Invoker and Filomene. Good choice of music to this teaser. Also i can notice that budget for action scenes got a bit bigger cause it looks wonderful!
They going all in this season and loving it!.
The first book was enjoyable and fun to watch. It surpassed my expectations. Looking forward to Book 2. And Tony Todd is one bad ass dragon.

Things are definitely getting even more exciting and action-packed than the 1st season. Hope they'll direct the character moments a bit better this time, giving the quiet scenes time to sink in.
There are many potential arcs, such as: AM and Silencer's anti magic guild, and Jugg and Sven's rivalry! But man, Juggernaut's arc will be lit. The ivory isle's mysterious banishing.
Then it will be revealed that it was Grimstroke that destroyed the Isle of Masks
then it will not be "dragon's blood" anymore unless you want to put dk in every fuckin lore which sounds awful and what's great about sven's story is that revenge story for his father

@@sungokong8540 Hopefully, man. The ratings of Davion's arc are high, and it was on the top 10 on Netflix. Perhaps Valve, and the Saudi Prince will be encouraged to make more dota series since LoL released theirs days ago.

Already watch the season 2. And i have to admit that the movie turns out even better, they make season 1 OK, and the season 2 is a treasure.
I am no fan of anime but I am a big fan of Dota and its lore- this trailer made me actually tear up- this hasn't happened since I last watched LOTR. Thank you Netflix and Valve for finally bringing the Dota lore to life with this. I can't wait to see it.

Does anyone know a link to a breakdown video of this teaser? There's so much to unpack! 1. What equipment did Davion have in the prison? He had his Dragon Knight necklace, but not the Invoker's armor. What about his weapons? 2. Was the old guy who attacked Davion and Fymryn the arrogant soldier/captain in Book 1 Episode 1? 3. Is Mirana connected to Lina? Like did she summon or transform to the latter? They have similar faces and voices despite being two diff chars in the game. 4. Was Davion's armor the Invoker's armor in the scene he used a shield vs the dragon? 5. Did we see Slardar in the part where the blue-flame dragon showed up, or is that just a reptilian race guy/girl? 6. Why didn't Kaden have his chaos armor on? 7. Was Selemene alive and well in that scene where she held the lotuses? 8. How did Fymryn end up in Dragon Hold? Did she sneak in, team up with the old guy, or did she get captured? 9. What do the green clothes mean for Mirana? It seems connected to what the priest-folk wore when Slyvion killed them. Did she ally with a new kingdom? 10. Did we see a living Luna and did we see Bram get killed?
I can anwser 3 and probably some plot points of this part They probably went to the desert kingdoms that worship the goddess of the sun ( probably the one that saved Mirana in that cave wit hthe direstone) . Mirana is the nobility of this kingdom but she was exiled from there and Lina is belived to have been blessed by the Solar Goddess by the acolytes when she went there. So thats the connection

Love this series, love how they're linking it in with what we know in the lore and how they're telling this story to slowly expand the world of dota, excited to see Lina and i wonder if we'll get a sisterly reunion with the Crystal Maiden, that would be pretty cool no pun intended 😁
Yeah the reunion would be good, but how about to see the linking between the gods in this universe that ruled by the dragons with the spirits elements' god like ember, earth, void, storm spirit. That must be lit since it's multiverse

It's come full circle Lina is copy pasta from Slayers (anime). Lina Inverse in the show literally has all of Lina (DOTA) spells.

Just finished watching Arcane, and seeing how well the show was made, I hope Valve can keep our game on top in every aspect, hope this show is good
Watched both, and both good for totally different reasons. Cant really compare them since theyre having different storylines and art style. Great shows and I think we need to stop comparing them since theyre technically brothers (Dota and league)

Chris she’s one of the weakest characters in game ult can be canceled by evasion or disarm and her lifesteal has less than half the value of monkey king passive she’s really not strong people just blame new characters so they don’t have to say it’s cause of their skill
