The key for Ngannou (other than the cool 25million he will make from this) is to use this fight to open the door into the heavyweight boxing elite. He doesnt need to win, just show he’s a dangerous exciting fighter. If he can do that more big heavyweight fights await him (and anyone who thinks he cant fight at this level are wrong….just look at Wilders success in the division! Wilder cant box at all!).

Francis N has all the power he needs. What he lacks is lower body weight as his torso and upper body is probably 20% heavier than his lower body. 5 kg weights wrapped around his ankles, shins, and calves would give his hips the torque needed for more springy action while strengthening his core. If he could fight with the weights on, he'll be more effective. Might lose a bit of floating like a butterfly, but his stings will literally pack a punch. Also, his glutus maximus is preventing his power hooks from delivering their best from his hips, which causes him to twist his back leg into the punch too early. That leg twist is supposed to be reactionary and pulled by the explosive hip movement, not an intentional twist. An interesting and possibly effective training method would be to glue boxing gloves to the front of both sides of his hips and have someone on their knees holding pads. Same with the shoulders. Punch with hips and shoulders. His wide frame screams hooks... his most effectiv arsenal against a taller opponent with greater reach. He wont be able to out box straights. He'll need to close the distance and use angled and twisting hooks like Mike T.

It’s easier to KO with smaller gloves. And when you rock them you just go in with hammer fist to finish it off. Francis lost to Stipe because of his wrestling holes and a year or so later he sharpened up his wrestling, denied Stipe's takedowns, and KO'd him. Now that Francis understands first hand how it feels to box a full match, he's going to sharpen up his striking, improve his cardio, and be a HUGE problem for top 5 heavyweights. The best bet you can make right now is that Francis Ngannou will show up, compete, learn, and improve. He's a humble hard working man that goes against the odds.

If he wants to win against Fury, he should learn defense very well especially his head movement, his footwork needs to be very good as well. Plus fight a lot with the jab and if the timing is perfect land that heavy blow but don't constantly spam it like Wilder because we all saw what happens if you do that against Fury. He should kinda fight like Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, or Foreman against Fury. Don't forget the counter punches, I think Ngannou has that lucky shot but once Fury starts dancing around him with the jab, right hand, and hooks... it's over unless that lucky punch lands for Ngannou. Personally, I cannot wait for this fight because it's quite interesting actually how it will go. But nonetheless, I have Fury by KO but I could be wrong.

Francis N has all the power he needs. What he lacks is lower body weight as his torso and upper body is probably 20% heavier than his lower body. 5 kg weights wrapped around his ankles, shins, and calves would give his hips the torque needed for more springy action while strengthening his core. If he could fight with the weights on, he'll be more effective. Might lose a bit of floating like a butterfly, but his stings will literally pack a punch. Also, his glutus maximus is preventing his power hooks from delivering their best from his hips, which causes him to twist his back leg into the punch too early. That leg twist is supposed to be reactionary and pulled by the explosive hip movement, not an intentional twist. An interesting and possibly effective training method would be to glue boxing gloves to the front of both sides of his hips and have someone on their knees holding pads. Same with the shoulders. Punch with hips and shoulders. His wide frame screams hooks... his most effectiv arsenal against a taller opponent with greater reach. He wont be able to out box straights. He'll need to close the distance and use angled and twisting hooks like Mike T.

It’s easier to KO with smaller gloves. And when you rock them you just go in with hammer fist to finish it off. In boxing, they need to survive a count which gives opponent more of a chance to not be tko.

Francis lost to Stipe because of his wrestling holes and a year or so later he sharpened up his wrestling, denied Stipe's takedowns, and KO'd him. Now that Francis understands first hand how it feels to box a full match, he's going to sharpen up his striking, improve his cardio, and be a HUGE problem for top 5 heavyweights. The best bet you can make right now is that Francis Ngannou will show up, compete, learn, and improve. He's a humble hard working man that goes against the odds.

If he wants to win against Fury, he should learn defense very well especially his head movement, his footwork needs to be very good as well. Plus fight a lot with the jab and if the timing is perfect land that heavy blow but don't constantly spam it like Wilder because we all saw what happens if you do that against Fury. He should kinda fight like Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, or Foreman against Fury. Don't forget the counter punches, I think Ngannou has that lucky shot but once Fury starts dancing around him with the jab, right hand, and hooks... it's over unless that lucky punch lands for Ngannou. Personally, I cannot wait for this fight because it's quite interesting actually how it will go. But nonetheless, I have Fury by KO but I could be wrong.

Looks good when nobody's hitting you back. He has the knockout power but he must land the shot first. He has no footwork. Fury has excellent footwork & dance circles around him while landing jabs in his face & will knock him out in 4 or 5 rounds.
