    • Its a cop out so they don't get accused of making this a red state v/ blue state movie...Because there is no way in hell there is a scenario where Blue California and Red Texas team up to take on DC. I'm sure it'll make sense in whatever alternative-univese they have this in, but IRL? Never.

    • while this movie looks really good, it's clear they kind of punted on being very realistic because they wanted both side to watch the movie. if it was clear that this was a Red Vs. Blue situation, then they would have to figure out who the "good side" was for the sake of the story. this is actually a pretty good move on their part because now the movie won't be seen as much through the prism of real-world politics.

    • @@jonforpresident04Well the left is pretty anti American. If you see a American flag on someone's car, if you see the stereo types of Americans displayed in a person, that usually means they're conservative. The right is known for being conservative, being proud to be American, loving guns and freedoms and rights. Loving the constitution and loving the old ways of America. What is the left known for? Taking a knee during the nation anthem? Refusing to pledge allegiance? All seriousness, what is the left known for that's seen as super patriotic? Now on the other hand, America was made by people who were anti patriotic. Rebelling and bring anti establishment is what made America, otherwise we'd be British. So yes, the ways of the left are technically more American than the ways of the right, just not on the surface.

    • It would be more realistic if California, Oregon and Washington State were on the same side - and then joined to become part of Canada. I hope this never happens to our country, since then, Russia and China will take over the World. And I would have friends and relatives on both sides. Think about it: could you KILL your Wife, Husband, Brother, Sister or Cousin, just because they were on the "Other Side" of a Political Divide? Some people think it would be like the "1861- 1865" Civil War. However, in 2020: In California, Biden won 10 million votes and Trump 5 million. In Texas, Trump won 5. 6 million votes and Biden about 5 million. In each State, the people who voted in the Minority would not be inclined to go along with the Majority. So there would be a Civil War in each State -- thus, FIFTY separate Civil Wars. Rather than "1861", it would be like the Syrian Civil War, which "celebrates its Thirteenth Anniversary on March 15th, 2024. "Beware the Ides of March".

    • A civil war would be very bad for America. Their wouldn’t be two sides. The military would be disbanded very quickly as soldiers would leave specially the war fighters. Killing Americans for the government isn’t something we signed up for. National guard would probably play along for a while but wouldn’t last long. We would turn into Yemen with 100 war lords constantly fighting each other. Foreign powers moving in to take advantage of the situation claiming territory. This is actually the end game for the democrats. For the new world order to rise america must fall which can only happen within. The United Nations has already made a plan 10 years ago for this situation and how to treat and enslave us which is called Agenda 21. If you don’t believe me, just google agenda 21 Glenn beck even made a book about what life would be like if agenda 21 was activated.

There is no coming back if our society crumbles to the point this happens; and I'm hoping that's the stance they took with this. War is glamorous and exciting until the bullets start flying, your children starve, and there is no structure left. Bosnia is a lesson few people heeded.

My question is what is the films depictions of the two types of Americans. I am really curious to know. Also, there’s no way in hell California and Texas are teaming up together that’s completely fiction. In the movie the US president looks like he is the vilain, with the states in open revolt against Washington. There are two apparent factions, and you get mentions of perhaps another. Anyhow the movie culminates with the capture of DC.
