What should really bother you is that when you have fullscreen on, you get disconected from servers if you switch tabs
You disconnect from anything, even a single player world if you tab out for even a second

It still disconnects without full screen if you minimize the mc tab, which I kept doing accidentally. Also: - Villagers can take workstations from across the whole village, **including your decoration barrels** - There's a tiny, tiny delay between opening chests and it pisses me off - In Realms there's a chance of it bugging out, causing you to lose an hour of progress - Server and client aren't always in sync. Not always a problem, until you try MLG'ing during that period - The sheer lack of customization options for client outside of singleplayer
What I think is the worst, is that in Java when you press escape the menu makes the complete game pause. In bedrock the game just continues. That's extremely annoying.
Bedrock has more performance on same hardware but bedrock has a lot of annoying glitches and THEY MANAGED TO FIX USEFUL GLITCHES FROM JAVA IN BEDROCK

I have problems, mostly with only being able to hold shields in your offhand, and that you can’t get achievements after getting them, and also, and most annoyingly, that you can’t use f3.
The short rendering of grass and bamboo helps with are insane render distances

You can literally go to 96 your game would literally break if I rendered in.
For the grass and bamboo render distance one, Bedrock was designed for optimization and performance so to increase performance so It can run better some tweaks had to be made.
Also bamboo is a grass.
Seems silly they can't give a graphics setting to increase how far in is rendered though, unless they can and it's just a low priority issue?

@@frowningboat8039 there are a myriad of things that can effect performance including render distance and the amount of objects/entity's that are loaded in, it's the reason why Java lags when you turn up the render distance and or being near a lot of mobs. Also Java script is at best unstable if you have no clue what your doing while coding.
@@frowningboat8039 they have added graphics options but it only has 2 options and the highest is Fancy it makes items 3D while items are on the ground and it makes leaves see-through an a few other details like this.

The reason the grass and Bamboo and other things aren't rendered is because it's to reduce lag from far away and it gives you fps boost basically. The sprint jumping is kinda weird for me but it's one of the things that make bedrock, bedrock.

The reason why sprint jumping is looking weird is because you are holding on jump. In order for it to look like Java, you need to tap on jump every time you want to jump.

Most frustrating thing I’ve really found about bedrock on other devices besides a pc is the lack of a useful offhand, except for things like shields
Most frustrating thing for me is the lack of hotkeys/inventory management shortcuts (like shift click), and the animation on inventory open and close. The animation is just a fraction of a second, but it gets annoying when it becomes thousands of fractions of a second for a (probably) useless feature, or in intense situations when every second counts.
im still dissapointed in the offhand not having the same main hand functions i swear caving would be so much better if i had a torch instead of a shield

I think that's some of the reasons why Bedrock has better performance than Java. Non full blocks are very laggy to render because all of the sprites are rendered on all sides unlike solid blocks that can be covered if there's another block that is blocking it on that respective direction.
I imagine some of the limitations are because the engine is designed to run well on mobile devices too

My only complaint is that bedrock lets you bonemeal sugarcane, but Java doesn’t. I needed lots of paper for a challenge I did one time, and it’s infuriatingly slow without bonemeal

I love that high pitched noise from the original megalovania after the drop added into the build up. It adds that extra layer of creepiness that i wouldnt have thought of if i made it. Also the though of sans duo wielding clevers is scary as hell.

@@12davindrafeliziowigie-ir51 I don't think they are heavy in Minecraft and neither of Minecraft's items, but like I'm pretty sure in Java, wooden axes do 7 damage but in Bedrock they do 3, if they are heavy then Java has more logic because it's got about 1 speed of cooldown, and does a lot more damage than swords, swords have 1.6 speed but do less damage.

As a veteran bedrock player, I can answer all your questions: 1, sprint-jumping works differently in bedrock so the animation looks weird. 2, the tall grass generation in bedrock is coated slightly differently. 3, bedrock edition can’t render anything that’s not a full block over long distances. Bonus answer: you can’t expect everything to load from so far away.

My biggest gripe is actually just the combat, and how you have to crouch to shield. Not unbearable and its nice to be able to play with ps4/ xbox friends, but overall i really wish bedrock just updated to 1.9 combat already.
Oh, and i guess how poorly optimized realms are on bedrock. Why does my render distance HAVE to be 10 or whatever it is on my pc that could handle over 60 easily

The sprint jumping in bedrock was meant to represent skipping. When Mojang animated sprint jumping, he had an idea for skipping so he tried to animate but probably did not go too well

The reason why small things don’t render from far away, is because Bedrock Edition is meant to support devices that can’t handle lag very well, so it disappears. This is why people with bad PC’s should use Bedrock because it runs smoother
Bamboo is a type of grass, so that last part _does_ make some sense
The torches also makes me angry in Minecraft bedrock, it is slanted, it makes a bad look on the side.
In Badrock Edition, grass and bamboo that are not visible in the distance are made in order not to burden the phone, since this is the version for the phone

It wasn't originally meant for phones. Bedrock is meant for all types of low end devices. Pocket edition was originally for mobile

How to counter that sprint jumping: Instead of holding down the jump button, click it every time you hit the ground so it looks normal. (I figured it out cus that’s how I always do it)

Combat has some lag, you cannot hold every item in your second hand, much fewer mods, quasi-connectivity not existent (helps a lot in big redstone builds), UI of a mobile game, even on PC, players forced to play the newer versions, customized textures/sounds harder to make, you need to crouch to use a shield, and more... and yes, one of the biggest problems is indeed the microtransactions. If you dont think, you have been consumed by microsofts greed
