  • This was started by ajagba low blows in early rounds. Ref didnt deduct 1 point from ajagba and clearly wasn't doing his job. I dont blame zhan for retaliating with low blows Bias ref and promotions are absolute bums. The toprank commentary loves calling lowblows body shots lmao.

  • Some of the punches were low but generally these guys don't like to be hit in the stomach, no one does. They make their dislike for body punches so obvious and that is why Ajagba kept going down there.

  • Yea you guys are taking the piss, Zhan is hitting him low intentionally, you can see zhan aiming for efe's nethers. Efe should have gotten way more warnings earlier and possibly even a point deduction but the punches were going low in large part to how Zhan is blocking, the angle meant his hands go down off of the forearms. Was Efe taking advantage of that? I would argue yes, but he was aiming for the body, Zhan was aiming for his balls. Trying to make the two equal is ridiculous one was categorically worse than the other.

    • If you look at the facts you see that Ajagba is lowblowing way way way more often then Zhan does, here a few examples: 4:02 - 4:10 3 times in a row All the way till 4:20 you can see he can't fight back because he's in pain on his balls. At 4:22 - 4:25 Ajagba again hits his balls and Zhan walks away, again the ref says, go on! Go on! There's nothing wrong with Ajagba hitting your balls! 4:35 - 4:40 Ajagba again hits his balls twice! Ref doesn't mind at all. 4:48 Well, it was close to say the least. 4:58 The wrestle action of Ajagba. 5:27 Another low blow of Ajagba, ref once again got no problem with it at all. 5:52 Another very painfull low blow of Ajagba. 6:17 Another low blow of Ajagba. 6:23 Another low blow of Ajagba and Zhan really seems to be hurted by this one and expected the ref to step in, but the ref doesn't. After all these low blows and unfairly received pain Zhan finally had enough and get's angry, that's around 6:27 , immedietly the ref stops the fight and allows Ajagba to recover. On top of that the ref also immedietly gives Zhan a one point deduction!?!?!?!? I mean really, how is this not b iased?!

    • Nah he sucked. Efe hit Zhan in the balls several times, and he only ever told him to keep his punches up. He should've been docked a point. Zhan really should've sucked it up and fought through it though, there's no sense in retaliating as much as he did.

    • Nah, it was competitive. Zhan was just getting frustrated with how much Efe was hitting below the belt. He really should've been docked a point, but Zhang also should've kept his composure and fought through it. I would like to see a rematch because this was a good fight outside of all the ball punching.

  • Ajagba beat him up. The body shots were killing the Eastern European fighter, and the frustration made him go low, with the intention of losing by disqualification instead of getting knocked out. Nevertheless, the Kazakhstan fighter has a great fighting IQ.

  • Yeah that was sad. Kossobutski only really got hit clean on the belt line which the ref said was low and the first one he throws he loses a point and Efe continued hitting him low. Watching it back it’s painfully obvious. He only retaliated after the he was hit low multiple times and they hurt.

  • Wow Ajagbas blow was borderline which is normal in boxing, but Kossobutskiy was just aiming for Ajagbas balls (wtf). He obviously had no intention of fighting anymore after round 3 and decided for a disqualification instead of an inevitable knockout, very unprofessional.

  • To mi , Efe still lacks the IQ. He still fights too robotic the way he did against Frank Sanchez and got beaten hands down. He is too difficult to change. See how he was creating chances for his opponent to knock him out. Before I thought it was Ronnie Shields"" error but I can see clearly now is his error. Can't continue fighting like this and expect to be a future champion. He was holding and pushing in a way easy for a smarter boxer to give him a devastating upper cut. He is not improving at all and I'm so disappointed in him.
