Just what I needed to get started. I was wondering if Deer scents attract coyotes? I was on a Deer hunt and put EverCalm bedding scent on my boots and had one come out on me.

Al which of the foxcast did you create on the xwave? I can't find info on who did what and they're favorite time to use that sequence

Hi Al. Along with all the good calling advise, I was surprised to hear you did not include antelope or fawn distress in your summertime repartee. On my Shockwave, baby goat is my most effective summertime distress other than coyote pup distress. Hunt safely, Martin

I just recorded a new baby antelope this summer it is on the new sound release I will try it more...the new mule deer fawn I recorded too and I will try it more...Thanks Martin...

Great advice from the man, myth, and legend Al Morris. I have one question about over calling a stand? By that i mean how many days should I wait before calling the same stand again?
@codyoslin65945 жыл бұрын
I have called the same stand twice on the same day...in the morning and just before dark...if its good and their is a lot of coyotes in the area just call it every chance you get to it....

We’ve been experimenting with scent eliminator spray last season, not real sure if it’s affective What’s your take on it Al ?
@stevefairweather1595 жыл бұрын
Steve Fairweather its more effective to just work the wind! scent blockers can only mask some smells. and with a yotes nose.....ANYTHING out of the ordinary is an alarm.
@kalikasurf4 жыл бұрын
I don't think any of that stuff matters to a coyote...when we smell a burger its a burger. When a coyote smells one its two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a seseme seed bun....they can smell so good that you have to play the wind or set up to watch down wind to intercept the downwinders....GOOD LUCK

I know you talked about the volume of the call what if you have a cheaper call such as the foxpro wildfire what would u suggest on the volume while using this call.
@sethdotson36484 жыл бұрын
Start out low volume...and ramp up during the duration of the stand...its a feel thing...but you can at 8 mins or so be 3/4 or higher on the volume setting.

Having the same problem in WV. Hunting a place that has a ton of coyotes and getting them on camera nightly, but cannot get the bastards to commit and come in to a call. One is a jet black coyote that I would love to have

A lot of us have back injuries which make it nearly impossible to sit without back support. Hopefully you will never experience that so you can continue thinking we are weak

Perhaps you can let everyone know, what advantage does a seat give, perhaps wearing shoes is also cheating, maybe having a drink of water with you is also cheating,or is there a full list of rules and regulations for Predator hunting that I've been missing?
