    • What you see is not an ordinary singer. He is a MASTER and MONSTER in his field (singing). Singing not only his life but also his education. HE IS EVIDENCE OF SUCCESS IN MUSIC EDUCATION. Kudaibergen completed the Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014 he graduated in Classical Music (Bel Canto) from the music department of the University of K. Zhubanov in Aktobe. He graduated from the Kazakh National University of Art in Astana where he graduated on 27 June 2018 with the Vocal Department.

Your reviews, the tiny details you notice, your intelligence, both emotional and musically, are fabulous. You leave other reviewers (even the self proclaimed voice / performance coaches) in the wings. Am a huge fan of you now too, so thanks 🎉

  • So 8:36 from my knowledge, you're spot-on that it is actually his larynx that is controlling that vibrato BUT Dimash is so skilled with controlling his vocal muscles that his tongue is affected by the powerful motions of his larynx when in a destressed position. Btw as someone who fell in this rabbit hole that the YT algo thrust upon me for the last 4 hours, you have as much if not more insightful vocal analysis than most vocal coaches that I've watched. Came for the hype, stayed for the education.

You pay way more attention to the details either in his voice, the performance, the music itself or the stage. You catch every single bit of it in a curious and awesome way. Second shout out goes to the people in your comment section. You can see some really dedicated Dears there (his Dears is what Dimash calls his fans, just to explain that). If someone wants to learn about that guy they just have to check out the comment section of your Dimash reactions because they're full od information. Even I still learn new stuff scrolling through.

  • OK, comment on your reactions to Dimash - FANTASTIC! You listen with a careful ear, you pick up many of the refinements and talent that Dimash presents with his performances. A note from another reactor to Dimash - There is a school of training in Asia that trains the hand movements - first, pointing hands in a direction for upcoming notes (point up with extended fingers for high notes, move hands out and open or close for upcoming changes in voice, etc. Look at his hand movements as directions or warnings for upcoming singing changes! HIS HANDS ARE VERY MUCH A PART OF HIS STAGE PRESENCE You are the first reactor that has caught this.Look at opening his hand with out the mic for significant changes in up / down register (voices). Love this stuff

  • That's an E5, bro, and I'm about to hook you up with some info: (this explanation was posted on another voice coachs's page) Dimash’s tribal/ethnic riff while singing Sinful Passion… was a tribute/ paying respect to Batyr Shukenov, who died in 2015. Batyr was another famous Kazakh singer, the original singer of this song and member of the same A’Studio band that is accompanying Dimash on the stage. That singing style is an improvisation of ‘zhoktau’ (means crying for a departed person), a traditional Kazakh grief singing by women at funerals. Zhoktau (‘weeping’) is a memorial song by the Kazakhs. Zhoktau is the oldest genre of the poetry of nomadic tribes, preserved and passed into the life of the Kazakh people. Traditionally, it contains verses and tex the expressed sorrow about the person who has died, recalling the good deeds he performed

For Ogni Pietra, I would recommend the fancam version only to verify that he is indeed singing live. otherwise take the version from his channel with much better audio. Oh, and there is his cover version of "Hello" by Lionel Richie, where he does more incredible stuff. In "Love is like a dream" he is singing like the angels. And in the live recording of "Unforgettable day" (the version fom the GAKKU TV concert), he hits the top of his range, which sounds more like a dolphin than a human.

  • Thank you again for reacting to Dimash. Dimash sings with his entire being. His hands are just an extension of the song. The note you were asking about is an E6, and not his highest note, by a couple octaves. Yes, it is 25 seconds, there are no breaths. 😁 The gentleman at the keyboard is Baigali Serkebayev from the band A-Studio, and is the one that wrote this song. The guitar player and the bass guitar player in this video are also in A-Studio. This song was originally performed by them 30 years ago. Looking forward to seeing more from you. Stay safe, and healthy! Blessing to you!

  • The highest note he reaches at the end of the run was a B flat 5. The pianist was probably stunned by this performance; he wrote this song, and the original singer died in a car accident. Dimash reinterpreted the song, and added the “funeral melisma” (that oriental sounding portion) towards the end in homage of that singer. The original band was a Kazak band called A-1 Studio and you can find the original song on KZhead (same title, with the same “ Boring” piano player!) To be blown away again, I suggest you listen to Daybreak Bastau. There were 35,000 people there. It is mind blowing. Make sure to turn on the subtitles. And Diva Dance from the same concert.

I love that he keeps his physical performance understated and lets his voice do all the speaking for him. Many performers jump all over the stage and that's great, but this kind of presentation is just masterful

  • First of all, thank you so much for your reaction!! It was a pleasure once again! Now, for some musical details you asked about. While in his soprano register, the high note in the end of the phrase is an E6. He also sang it in SOS (in the middle part) and in many of his songs, the E6 is not an uncommon note for him. He is also able to sing an F6, before braking into whistle (where he has sung up to a D8 in one particular performance), so E6 is not his limit by any means. Note that an E6 is a mighty difficult note even for classic sopranos to hit. Super hard and you won't find classical pieces having a sustained E6 too often. That other amazing note he is hitting with his operatic tenor register is a C5 (where you commended about him giving all his power). This is also a very hard note for every classical tenor. Dimash's C5 sounds just so gorgeous, in my opinion it's up there with the great tenors in terms of depth, quality and timber. Dimash can go on full operatic deep sounding tenor up to a D5, which is really crazy. After that, he passes on to a more crisp and open pop sound. So, after that C5, he goes into a D5 and takes a breath right before starting an E5, climbing up to a mindboggling Bb5 (just a tone before the soprano high C, aka C6), which is stratospherically high for a mixed belt, even for female singers. And not only that, but he is sustaining it for so long, following this with a pentatonic run, which by itself is another crazy hard thing to do. A pentatonic run means it's on a pentatonic scale, and not on the E flat minor that the piece was modulated to as he hits the Bb5 (the song starts in A minor). It's so hard to pinpoint down the notes on such a fast pentatonic run, but it sounds so nice, doesn't it? I highly recommend watching "Ogni Pietra" (aka Olympico). This song is to me the best moment in Dimash's career so far. There are many versions around, but I think this particular one is the best and most engaging, with the best arrangement and a very powerful stage presence by Dimash: kzhead.info/sun/pcV7eNtlsYGKaKs/bejne.html

  • Awesome React/analysis video!! This song is performed with so much emotion that most of us hang on every word to the point you forget to breathe. He makes every word count draws you in as if he's talking to just you.... Beyond all the crazy technical skill involved, this is the magic of the song. Ok so, I got to tell you, when it comes to Dimash, it's not really about which performance is better. All of them are different. I mean LITERALLY he shows some new talent or skill or something amazing in every song. He basically adapts himself to the needs and emotion of the song and figures out how to make it better. I have favorite Dimash songs but it is so hard to choose that I gave up trying. I like different songs on different days depending on my mood. So I give you this friendly advice because you just started with him and you don't know. But he has a universe up his sleeve yet to show you. So rating one song against another will make you crazy. IF you are invested in exploring all of what he can do, I would suggest starting with all the episodes of that Chinese show he was made famous on. "Opera 2" is Ep 2 and "Show Must Go On" by Queen is Ep 3 and then on Ep 4 is an emotional song called "Autumn Strong". So in the first 4 episodes, he sings first in French, then Russian, then English, and then Chinese. Pretty phenomenal really! Can you imagine trying to enunciate in all those languages while singing? Granted the English pronunciation isn't perfect but it was still really good. He had only just begun learning English but regardless the performance is crazy good.

    • @@valbueno7459 Hey Val. I do it for a couple of reasons. First It's fun to see other peoples opinion of his performances. It's interesting to see if they like the same things that you like or are shocked by the same things you are. Also some of them are really insightful. Some reactors are just funny. But, I am well aware that most reactors are doing this to promote their channel, to get views, and gain subscribers. That's their goal. And if they can do that while listening to decent music, it makes it easier for them. Plus, there are a percentage of reactors that end up actually end up becoming fans of Dimash and that's a fun to watch happen. But there are those who don't seem to connect to his music and I still support them anyway. I do it because I believe that ultimately it only helps Dimash. Especially here in America where Dimash is not in any of our media. Everyone that is a Dear in America found him online and most likely from KZhead. Everything pretty much has been sharing videos and word of mouth. So my philosophy is that the more Dimash reactions there are, the more potential he has of reaching many different people. As long as the youtuber is being positive and respectful, they are promoting Dimash free of charge with thier video. It's free advertising. I found Dimash 3 months ago from a reaction video. And, I have watched him every day and night since that day. He has given me so much entertainment and joy that I want to help him however I can. I mean, my resources are limited. But I can try to help promote him, promote his videos, encourage him by commenting on his IG or KZhead. I also try to give people correct info so they gain better appreciation to him. I just do what I can. So to sum it up, I love everything about Dimash and want to help him. Helping reactors get his name farther out into the public. And that's the least I can do for all he's given me personally.
