I wish I could relate, it eventually became a frustration than enjoyment whenever starting a new world for me, just wanting to achieve something in that world, it was lonely, no people, just weird hmming villagers with giant noses and a robot dog, I hated survival

I can imagine just sitting a field full of flowers, this song starts playing in my mind as my friend runs up to me and slowly starts to dance with me. I started playing around 4 years ago, when I first moved into England. The friends I had made at school introduced me to Minecraft, and now the only reason I know and am in this fabulous life-changing community is because of them. This year I moved into secondary school, and sadly my friends weren’t at the same school as me, but I still keep in touch with them, more than I did with my friends from my old country. And they will always have my friendship as a gift for what they have done to me and where they have brought me now 💗💗

I love that these songs aren't even specific to Minecraft. This just reminds me of the excitement when I moved in 2020. It was a new house, a new area. It was a big property where I could do all the things I'd been dreaming of for the 10 years I lived in the suburbs. It was a beautiful new start, sitting at my desk for the first time, and watching the sun set over the valley. I can finally see the stars, and I still haven't explored the whole property. It always has surprises for me, and the potential is limitless. I'm building jumps, digging up gardens, starting vege patches, planting trees and watching them grow from a tiny apple seed to a leaf-covered stick taller than my head. To have your own place really is like having a whole world for yourself. A world to shape, and build, and craft a home out of. I know my home has issues, and I won't stay there forever. One day I'll move on again, and I'll get to experience this beautiful sensation all over again. The world is what we make it. And I choose to make it as colourful and cluttered with leaves and flowers as possible.

Some days I wish I'd headed into Minecraft blind, with only the experience of playing with my might-as-well-be-cousins and my actual cousin behind me instead of spending literally six months of 2012 devouring the Minecraft Wiki before saving up enough allowance to buy it in August. Still, I'm satisfied with my experience. I never expected to be a veteran of anything, but here I am.
I remember when this song has launched, ironicaly, me and my friends had recently started an SMP, it was called "Odysseia SMP", even tho someitmes no one other then 2 or 3 people were online.... it was such a great time, we've explored so much, played with the idea of "lore", created so many inside jokes... it the time that i had the most amount of friends, it wasnt much, but... now, a couple of them either don't care about the old group, got separeted, or... just dissapeared ....God, i wounder how is it possible to have so much nostalgia, even tho it has been just 3 years... ...I miss that.
