Battlefield 2042 has been experimenting with things and brought back the new Control game mode which is quite different and interesting. Let's play on some new maps. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.

    • @@jakobvaden7106 Yea well they made it look like it did in the trailer like Scum bags. They also made it look like destruction was in the game, and months before the game released showed "new technology and destruction" off in a little demo video, many people including myself thought that was them confirming they worked on and implemented destruction in 2042. I pre-ordered 2042 based on these two trailers and videos. No where was their any clarification that neither of those videos would represent gameplay and gameplay mechanics in the game. They're Evil. Including the Devs who didn't leave in protest. (Many did leave)

  • The tornado was a good idea and definitely changed it up, think that's the only decent thing to come out of the game

    • Would've been better had they not been lazy by throwing it in damn near every map. It's in Discarded, Hourglass, Kaleidoscope, Manifest, Orbital, Renewal, Stranded. It makes it less unique. The only unique thing about it is they look a bit different.

  • 6:15 for BF 2042 thats about the most destruction your going to get besides a few exceptions with vehicles. Dice needs to step it up, I want to see that building leveled when hit with an rpg.

    • You clearly haven’t played BF42, then. 😂 It has semi decent destruction. Some odd missiles do amazing damage. The 6 Missiles from the Ram, all the air rocket pods, and the barrage missiles. They just toned down the infantry destruction capability. When, you are old enough to play the game for yourself. You might understand how the game works. 🙂

  • Jack! Movie tip regarding modern weapons in old settings! Zack Snyder made a movie called Sucker Punch in 2011 that uses that exact idea you were talking about. As you can imagine it's just a "turn off your brain and enjoy action" kind of movie. It's actually about a group of escort girls trying to escape where they're being kept and every major part of their escape plan is being presented in the way of them basically killing a boss in a different world. If I remember correctly, they go to a steampunk WW2, some sort of medieval fantasy world with orcs and dragons, feudal Japan and a futuristic robotic world, all while equipped with modern weapons and tools. Actually not a bad movie!

  • Control is imo the best big gamemode they have come up with for a long time, and should return as a base gamemode for the next game, + Shutdown! Conquest Breakthrough Control Rush Shutdown TDM Yes please!

  • The new mode is cool. Like Jack said, it helps fix the ring around the rosy effect of Conquest. I didn't know there was DLC for Elden Ring coming out. I haven't played it so it will be great to have that addition once I play it.

  • Not sure if you are interested in anime but there was an anime released not too long ago with that exact premise of modern army vs swords/bows with a little bit of fantasy mixed in as well, its called GATE and i really recommend it if you have any interest in that sort of thing.

  • Control has become one of my favorite gamemod, so many possibilities whether in 12vs12 or 24vs24, the BF2042 maps are so big that I think there could be 3 Control maps in 1 map, like Manifest in think. And, BFBC2 maps on Control are great to play.

  • Aw man so many hits missed with this game. Dont get me wromg ive supported it alot but it just felt short in so many areas. It has descent fun but when i play something like BF4 or Hardline the missing parts stick out like a sore thumb. Hopefully the next one is the complete opposite and they fucking nail it like i really do.

  • the beginning of orbital when the rocket blows up is very cinematic and the first time it happened i was like ok wow that was actually pretty awesome if they just added more major destruction elements to the game it would be really good game its really nothing compared to what it was at launch

  • they did put control on arica harbor at some point. control is the best mode in the game, love the chaos of it. they added breakaway and discarded time around. m5 w suppressor was clutchhhhhhh

  • I like disruption as a DM alternative too. These two game modes do something new like operations did - i would have liked operations in bf2042 as well. Since there is "some" lore happeneing operations could have been a way to do that in game.

  • Man Jack makes this look like so much fun but I own it on PS5 and god between the loading of weapons and gear to the level loading is just absolutely horrendous. Not sure if its just a 5 thing but even the menu and load out screens take sometimes minutes just to load guns and such. Idk just my experience with it lol.
