Eugene Bareman Still Gets 'Flashbacks' of Israel Adesanya's Knockout Loss To Alex Pereira

2022 ж. 6 Қар.
114 995 Рет қаралды

Eugene Bareman talks about a "fractured" phase of City Kickboxing's training and how everyone needed "a kick in the behind" to prepare for UFC 281, why Israel Adesanya was the last to come around, his reaction to criticism of Adesanya's performance against Jared Cannonier, what he expects from Alex Pereira at UFC 281, how he has "flashbacks" to Adesanya's knockout loss to Pereira and told a "boldface lie" to keep him to keep him from coming back too soon.

Even more so he has allowed for inspiration and that old school kiwi brotherhood. As a young man these people inspire me hugely.

  • You can tell how much Eugene cares as a coach. He is not a one hit wonder and refuses to allow yes men mentality prevail once they hit a certain level of success. It's paying off with his fighters. You can see Israel actively avoids the trappings of fame to stay focused as a fighter

  • Three Fridays ago (im in New Zealand) I went to a Muay Thai fight night held at my local Town Hall. Eugene had two fighters there that night, they are from Auckland and Im in Wellington, the other end of the Island so its a chunk of travelling time to commute but he makes the effort with his team of Smiling Assassins, you Send Location, CKB doth cometh. By sheer chance Eugene was twenty yards away from me as I was going to the Buffet, Eugene was going to the Fighters Room, as he got near me I thought, bugger it, ima gunna say g'day to him. Im glad I did, he was absolutely approachable and talked like we already knew each other, what you see here, is what you get. Very Heavy, Very Humble, hey, isnt that a Uriah Heep album !? Eugene won me for ALL TIME when he thanked me for being a fan, imagine that! The man is the Genius behind City Kick Boxing and he was so impressive in the short time we were yakking, its no surprise that CKB and his Smiling Assassins that they are this great meld of blokes, Eugene has a je ne sais quoi (Google the phrase) and CKB are his disciples. Eugene is the Agent Provocoteur, (again, Google it) and they do his bidding and follow instructions. Its nooo surprise that Bareman is now constantly called upon by channels such as this one for his take on situations and fights that constantly pop up in the UFC world community of fans. Heres wishing Eugene and his band of merry men all the best, you guys sure are charismatic as well as being mean SOB's. Give them a Taste!

A combination of intelligent, cool calculated, home trained good spirited good men coming together, bonding together to channel a single course with reasonable understanding, innovating , unified bond, giving this game their best shots. This is why this team is unique indeed and their are earning recognition, respect good results. City kickboxing team is always committed to the job they are doing. The total feedback from the Big man himself, Eugene Barman is awesome. if I understood him well they were not interested in what people think or say about Izzy's fight with Jared. Izzy got the job done in any ways. We ain't interested to entertaining, I love this. We, the fans are not interested in Izzy coming into the Octagon to entertain but to win. We are loving what Izzy is doing and we will continue to support him, even with our complimentary remarks. Izzy even said, I am the one with the belt, if you want it, come get it , but fighters at 185 are coming with fire and brimstone and their are not getting it. You think they are happy? But this team meant business and they are not playing about it.Tasking themselves extra, telling each other the frank truth the chief Couch said it all. Even as a man of not many words. The team realizing the truth and accepting it is the key. stretch themselves in house, is awesome. Setting high goals for themselves and it is paying off. Kudos to Couches and team. Wishing you Guys all the best at UFC 281. Protect yourselves at all times. Stay safe.
