I tried making theese now in my dorm as a student to save some money, turned out it tastes better than anything store bought and its so much cheaper. Huge props and thanks for this simple yet genius recipe!!!
This is great! What do you use for your cooking setup in a dorm room??? My nephew is going off to college soon, and I want to buy him a cooking solution that works. Thanks for sharing.
@@ImASurvivorNThriver hi! Well i use just a non stick pan and few pots on a stove for cooking. Nothing crazy to be honest and it served me well for over 4 years now :)
I must give it a try asap ❤
@@ImASurvivorNThriver as a college student a shelf sized plug in flat top griddle made life so so so much better. They are about $30 for a decent one.
Yeah me too
This is perfect if you live in small spaces or are renting a room, You can mix all the ingredients in a squeeze condiment bottle and always have fresh bread! I'm forever grateful for this recipe.
Thanks for the tip! :D
That's a brilliant idea. Roughly how long would that keep in the fridge..?
@Ivor Scrotumic Make it a little more thin than shown in this recipe as it will thicken in the refrigerator,I usually make enough for a week and I eat a sandwich each day.

So simple, and amazing with a little crushed anise seeds! Thanks for making it look easy, and worth the bit of time.
I love it, especially that I know there are no hidden ingredients because I made it from scratch ❤️
it was perfectly like a roti really is that true?
It looks so delicious! , plus it saves a lot of time ! Thank you
Mum used to make this. Thank you for sharing. Reminded me of an age-old recipe in my family.
I made this and added chopped garlic to the mix and it tasted delicious, I totally recommend adding little bits of garlic or green onions or whatever you might enjoy
Try garlic infused olive oil from Aldi
Excellent recipe! It’s amazing how easy it is and the flatbread came out great! Thanks so much❤
It’s Indian/pakistani not hers thievery runs deep
These were amazing. It defies all odds lol. Best flat bread I ever made. Next time I'm going to add some cumin seeds and garlic powder to them. Thank you. This could not be any easier, and it's delicious!
Try substituting oil with garlic butter and also grease with pan with said butter.

Very nice. In a few minutes, I learned to make flatbread. I got my dinner idea ready. Thanks
First recipe I've tried without them breaking in the middle. Thank you 🤗
Same thing 😂 it breaks.
Usually it's not enough water or it's getting too much heat per side. Make sure to flip often, don't put it on extremely high heat, and add enough water. 👍
You made a flatbread chef out of me. I tried it, I LOVED IT. Thank you
I love this recipe , first time I watched ur Chanel ,then I made it and it’s so good 😊 Thanks for sharing 🙏🏻
This is very smart and very easy to make flatbread without making a dough and roll it until flat, great job and thanks for sharing it!
This is what "EASY" really means. no elaborate ingredients; just pure deliciousness! I made it! Thanks so much! ♥
I used this recipe to make flatbread pizzas, and it tasted amazing! Super thin and crispy, and resembling both a crepe and pizza crust at the same time.
Good idea. Ill try it
Pizza crust is just a bit less water and a pinch or two of any sort of bread yeast, or baking soda and baking powder.
Ooo this would be good for a pizza cone
This looks like something even I could make, thank you.
Very well prepared Thank you for sharing this video 😊👍
I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW EASY & DELICIOUS THIS RECIPE & METHOD IS!!!! THANK YOU!!!! 👌 👏 👏👏 I'm making them for every meal! 😃
This is what I really love to learn and to know how to make it,this is my favorite bread among Indian and middle Eastern breads..

Looks great and easy ! For the mixture is soft and sticks to my fingers when making into dough as I am just a novice. In paste like form it throws all my troubles away, heheheee.... Will try it and thank you.

My mind is blown ! I didn’t know it was possible! With NO kneading 😮 I grew up watching my family make roti and it’s very time consuming it’s a lot of kneading and they only use boiling water to mix the dough. This method is life changing 🎉

Hi Christie, do you mind to share your homemade mix gluten-free flour ? Thank you!

太棒了,我照著做了幾次,謝謝Qiong cooking.
I have been making homemade tortillas by hand for over 2 years now and other flat breads from Turkey, Azerbaijan and other countries. Your recipe here is a gem! It's economical and it's really the easiest and quickest flat bread I have ever made! I used white whole wheat flour and unsalted butter for your recipe and it worked out great. Normally it takes me 3 hours to make 15 burrito size tortillas from start to finish. It's nice to have a quick recipe for days when you don't have much time to make bread this is really important to me since my family and I make most of the bread we eat from scratch regularly. In the summer time I can't use my oven and it's been hard to find bread to make on the stove top that turns out good, besides making pancakes, waffles, ect. I am referring to bread you can make a sandwich with. I have noticed your other videos on making bread on the stove top and I will try some of them. I am very excited about this since this recipe exceeded my expectations I didn't know you could make a tortilla without kneading and rolling it out and the long process it takes to get it ready to cook it. Thank you so much for sharing!
Did u add baking soda to the whole wheat flour? Does it puff up?
@@muzakkirjuvi I did not use any baking soda. No, the white whole wheat bread does not puff up. The flat bread recipe is only good for a day. It doesn't hold its shape for very long and it's not as strong/sturdy as traditional tortillas, but it's still a good easy and fast flat bread recipe. (White whole wheat flour cooks differently than traditional whole-wheat flour does. Traditional whole-wheat flour is usually made from hard red wheat, which is darker and more strongly flavored. White whole wheat is made from hard white wheat flour also called white whole wheat flour. It's naturally whiter in color neutral in flavor and not as dense as traditional whole-wheat flour is and works like all-purpose flour except it's a whole grain.)
A supbub lwill try making👍

Pwde ba ito pang shawarma?
Thank you. I know now what I am having for breakfast. Flat bread with jam and honey.
THANK YOU FOR SUCH A SIMPLE RECIPE!!! I just try it. Literally. Since my mother makes curry, i wanna make this recipe immediately. If you want to make it fluffy (maybe for your shawarma wrap) , just use medium heat from the beginning. Don't forget to press the side of the bread and flip it over regularly. If the bread is bubbling up, it's enough. If you want to make it a little bit hard and crispy, (maybe for your taco wrap) don't use medium heat and cook for a longer time. Still press the side of the bread to make it bubbling. And press the bubble down. Until it's not really inflate anymore. Sorry for my english.
I'm a native English speaker, your English is very good! No need to worry. If you hadn't said anything I would have assumed you were a native speaker.
