  • You know what makes me crazy? This woman puts out a video with info. She isn’t trying to game anyone like so many do trying to sell something, make money etc. People trying to knock down her info make me crazy. Why not take your time and make a video of what you think would fight inflammation and not in the spirit of criticizing someone else’s video. We need to start turning this society around to be more kind and helpful and yes we need to start at very what seems like small ways. When I listen to a video I don’t like, unless asked a question by the person delivering it, I go on to the next. We need to get back to kindness one step at a time.

    • This post is disingenuous. Spinach is extremely high in oxalates. Eating spinach daily as some people do, will cause oxalates to be deposited in the joints and body tissue since the kidneys can only get rid of a small amount every day. Sure, lime juice will stop stones from forming in your kidneys, as will any type of citric acid. Orange juice or Lemon juice will do the same thing, but that will not stop oxalates from accumulating in the body if you are eating too many. Oxalates under a microscope look like glass shards, they cause inflammation throughout the body contributing to all kinds of health issues. If you have been consuming too many oxalates and go on a low oxalate diet to get rid of all the oxalates in your system, it could take months or even years to get rid of them all.

    • @@lawillertonwell, don't eat everyday. I eat it 5 days a week, 1 cup (after it's shrunk from steaming😅), sprinkle with lemon juice, eating with calcium, and of course steaming them. Between the 3, most oxaltes are depleted. There's literally oxalates in all plant foods. Spinach is at the top of list yet is the most powerful (along with kale) leafy veggie embedded with nutrients particularly if steamed/sauteed. There's ample research on the aforementioned methods on Spinach. As mentioned in other posts, videos, etc. .if you're one with kidney problems, Spinach should be very limited or not eaten at all. Many folks eat it daily and have wonderful results. Yet I'm sure they do the things strongly recommended to deplete oxalates. 😊😮😅

  • Turmeric is the healthiest spice and taking it with a little black pepper turbo charges the turmeric up to 20 times. It's anti-oxidant powers help reduce inflammation in painful areas like hands and joints. It also reduces symptoms of Alzheimer and dementia. I had a thick book on healing spices and it had a chapter just on the benefits of turmeric the healthiest spice. So I take bulk turmeric along with a little ground black pepper in my morning juice along with my own custom powder mix of a dozen superfoods powders that I take each morning along with a mix of 6 healthy juices and it heals, balances, recharges and energizes my body and brain so I feel young, healthy and terrific. I also have water, berries, an avocado, vegetables and nuts and a few healthy supplements in the morning

I also like the way you deliver your information. You don’t try to capture or I call “kidnap us” with lots of extraneous conversation. I especially dislike when someone tells us all details about the subject at hand… then at the end give the original info. My brain works differently. I need the info for instance you mentioned capers… I happen to like them. But then I start incorporating what you said about its nutritional value and different ways to use. If it’s done the opposite way I’m busy trying to guess what the item is missing the info I didn’t know. So I’m looking forward to research your other videos …. Thank you very much. But there was a lot of information in this video that was new to me. I did chuckle a little bit about the capers: I might eat a small red onion in one sitting, but there is NO WAY I could eat 3 oz. of capers at once. That's a superfood destined to be enjoyed in super-small increments.

  • Very good information. But, would you please address the contraindications of spinach with regard to kidney function. Thank you.

    @SkywayTraveler@SkywayTraveler4 ай бұрын
    • Hi There, So spinach like many leafy greens are high in oxalates. If your kidneys are healthy, your body can easily excrete oxalates in the urine. If you have kidney disease, then you should be careful not to consume too much oxalates in a given day. People assume that just because spinach has oxalates you shouldn't consume it. However, spinach has a tremendous amount of nutrients so as long as your kidneys are healthy, it's not an issue.

  • What a find!!! I suffer from a lot of lots if spinal injuries. I am an RN that suffered a serious injury on a psych unit that ended my career. So I am always searching for help. I don't like pain meds as I have found that if you block the pain too much you tend to move in a way that will worsen your pain when the pill wears off. So it is not an option for me, that just creates that vicious circle of pain meds. I listened this and was very excited. Those are the kind of finds that can make your life more product, healthier in many ways.....what a find! I loved the simplicity of the whole thing, and the amount of info was very generous. I personally am a huge fan of chiropractors, they just make perfect sense to me. Thanks so much for the info and I look forward to more. 😂

    • Are you vaccinated? Have you vaccinated people do you feel guilty about that? Do you feel that you deserve your injury while working in the psych ward? And are you answering honestly about that? Have you really meditated on your life?

    • Not sure what you are talking about. I don't recall mentioning vaccines so your answer is CRAZY!! Since that is my specialty you made need some treatment. I don't really even know how to answer. I did not get a covid vaccine in fact I only get a pneumonia vaccine because I have a 4th stage NHL. I don't normally say things like this but you really got on my last nerve today. You are a sick person full of hate. Perhaps seeing psychiatrist would be of benefit for you because made no sense with your statement. You may also want to start praying more for your salvation. Because it is my belief and relationship with the Lord I will pray for you.

  • How people are not alone? I already eat all these foods including mushrooms but not some codryceps or turkey tail, naither reishi as I did not find them in grocery stores. It's good recommend people to buy all organic, that is so considerate from you. but here comes the question, when I go for 2 weeks and buy organic, prices are such fire, that I do not have left enough for the next 2 weeks until payment comes left to buy even non organic. Those grocery store owners are billionaires, they sell one bunch organic parsley or cilantro $4, 1 bunch organic kale $5, 2 pack organic peppers $5.99 and so on and on. Easy to tell people in video buy this, buy that, but when it comes to capitalistic system in america and in canada, it is all about discrimination of money, you buy organic and stay healthier if you got a lots of money, part time stays on junk. No discrimination??? It is all discrimination. I grew up in the USSR and that's where did not exist discrimination. Nations lived in their own motherlands and lntertraded stuff, everything was available for everyone in the same low price with high quality, and no multiculturalism, everyone lived int their countires with the same condition as other republics. I wonder who is going to buy all these organics for pensioners with inflammation in their joints and almost everywhere in their bodies? Old people's houses monitored by greedy governments are going to make those expansive organic juices? Just to tell people buy that and boy this means that they are not alone? Then when you recommend organics, also include prices people to know what budget they need...........

    @democolor42@democolor422 ай бұрын
    • I hear you. I can get lower prices than you mentioned for organic at local supermarkets (Santa Barbara, Ca.). Would rather buy at farmers markets instead of corporate, but too expensive for my budget. Under this deregulated capitalism the rich just get richer at everyone else's expense (the rapidly growing wealth gap). I don't think the old Soviet system is the answer, but a better mix of socialism and regulated, non-predatory capitalism, like Bernie and others advocate. Another Trump term will be disastrous, in many, many important ways. The Dems are the best, only alternative. Inflation is world wide and caused by corporate greed, not Biden and Dems. The Saudis, Putin will, are raising oil prices and pushing GOP propaganda before the election to blame it on Biden so they can get Trump again, at all of our expense. Sorry to bring politics into the discussion, but it matters hugely to all of us.
