I play on the 360, and to do it without the command blocks I like to place a sand block a couple of blocks above a fence post (so it drops onto the fence post). The sand should be floating 1/2 a block above the fence. Place lava in that gap, and anyone who walks on the sand falls through and gets instantly burnt.

you can change it so its linked up to a clock and change the command from /kill to /effect. from there you give them instant damage. and a fix to the cobwebs would be to add another command block to give the blocks slow falling. this makes the glitch alot less common and look more flush with the ground

You could also put signs underneath the cobwebs so that the cobwebs don't glitch through the sand and you can put a secret base or just a lava pit underneath.

There's an easier way to do this. Do the soulsand thing and place water, Than, put the sand and it'll bounce. Once you do that, when the sand goes down enough to see the block, place a cobweb.

Also the Magmapit thing i made: needs only 9 magma and 8 trapdoor So dig a 9x9 hole, 3 block deep. next, place magma at the bottom (remember to crouch or you will get damaged). Next go to the surface and face trapdoors that face down at the upper edges.

this is PERFECT 👍 my home is literally inside a desert ravine (i know, super weird but it works very well in my favour for enchantment farming) and right outside is an area of desert where mobs occasionally spawn. this could help me a lot when it comes to XP farming. subscribed 👍

In 1.17 there will be a waaayy easier way which you can actually do in survival: So basically just make a hole as deep or as wide as you want and then fill it up with a new snow called 'Powdered snow'. Then when you jump in you can not get out unless you break the snow and you will start freezing to death which acts as suffocating to death.

I tried on PC and the when I placed the sand on all the cobble and it was sinking. But then the sand started to break. I’m going to try this on My phone and see if it works? I will say if it works. (It didn’t work)

oh that's what I was doing wrong I had to drop the sand from 2 blocks My friend added cobweb in my soul sand lift and that gave me this idea so I added soul sand , water, cobwebs but missed this step as I was doing it without tutorials NOICE

There's an easier way to do this. Do the soulsand thing and place water, Than, put the sand and it'll bounce. Once you do that, when the sand goes down enough to see the block, place a cobweb.

Also the Magmapit thing i made: needs only 9 magma and 8 trapdoor So dig a 9x9 hole, 3 block deep. next, place magma at the bottom (remember to crouch or you will get damaged). Next go to the surface and face trapdoors that face down at the upper edges.

In 1.17 there will be a waaayy easier way which you can actually do in survival: So basically just make a hole as deep or as wide as you want and then fill it up with a new snow called 'Powdered snow'. Then when you jump in you can not get out unless you break the snow and you will start freezing to death which acts as suffocating to death.

I tried on PC and the when I placed the sand on all the cobble and it was sinking. But then the sand started to break. I’m going to try this on My phone and see if it works? I will say if it works. (It didn’t work)

oh that's what I was doing wrong I had to drop the sand from 2 blocks My friend added cobweb in my soul sand lift and that gave me this idea so I added soul sand , water, cobwebs but missed this step as I was doing it without tutorials NOICE
