The dust is not on the website
@@Honourablly did they ever arrive if so how are they?
Hello, Im asking What do i have to do at the end of the day after using sea salt spray and the clay to add texture to my hair? Can i leave it till the next day or will that be damaging. And if it is damaging then what do i have to do, especially if i dont shower my hair everyday.
Who else is here because they just got a super cringe haircut and are trying to save it with some sort of style 😅

incredibly helpful, when i was a kid my hair was kinda like this naturally but it's gotten a lot straighter as i've grown up so it's nice to know i can make it look like how i prefer it still, will definitely be trying it out, i dread doign my hair, but this made it look relatively easy to do

Definitley one of the best videos out there, mostly because you're the only person i've found with a similar hair type (before the products) that gets the result i've been looking for
Thank you!!
@gavinhefferon my hair is a lot thinner but the same length and is also quite straight. I'm just using sea salt spray and hair powder for my hair but I can't get a wavy look, I'm using a hair dryer without a diffuser attachment and I'm wondering if that's the reason why, can you help me with this?
The dust is a must. I have insanely thick straight hair and switched from my normal head & shoulders shampoo to this moisturizing coconut milk based shampoo & conditioner to get it to relax and not look so poofy. And then got the volumizing dust from my barber and it adds so much texture.
Hmm never tried coconut milk shampoo I'll have to try it
the dust will make you bald tho 💀

This is really helpful. My hair used to be straight, but as I've gotten older it's gotten a slight curl, therefore I can no longer do my normal straight style, because it is weird and wavy with awkward gaps. I've always been trying to give it a messy style but I've been having trouble until now. Thanks!

Thanks for the tips, everytime I come out the shower my hair goes flat down and it doesn't suit me at all, suits me way better when I make it messy looking.
Sooo good and simple!
Glad you like it!
Hi, how should I cut my hair to match the messy style, should I erase only the sides and let all the hair in the center from back to front longer?
Bro we do the exact same but my hair isnt looking like that Edit: in the comments everyone recommended to shower with shampoo way less. I still shower every evening and wet my hair in the morning to do my hair. Now I use shampoo max 2 times a week and started using conditioner like 3-4 times a week. My hair looks way better now and it never gets oily, even when I dont have time and dont wash it for 2-3 days (I never go longer than that). Still I dont have the exact same hairstyle but close enough that I like it. Hope this helped anyone who also has the same problem!
try using higher quantities of the products bro. Also, play around with your hair as its drying. Use different hand movements to see what works best for your hair
@@gavinhefferon ok I'll try it. I already tried some more sprays with seasalt, which works better for me. But that texture and volume you have is insane. I just got no texture ig and I almost have to do the windmill with my hands while I'm using the hairdryer (I got that from another vid from you, ig it was how to textured fringe) to get my hair not laying flat and straight on my head.

Great video will give it a try. I do wash my hair every morning so it's light af so when the wind gets to it (in Ireland is always) it just fucks it up.
Try cutting down to only washing every 2nd or 3rd day. If you wash your hair every day it strips your hair of natural oils which could be causing that lightness

This video really helped…thanks (Im black with locs)
trying to get back to this, i’m asian and have extremely thick, pin needle straight hair but for like 2 years my hair was super lush and soft and fluffy. it’s finally starting to turn straight again and i just want it to be fluffy again :(
I’m an Asian barber of 10 years. The key is to remove weight. Your hairstylist is probably leaving too much length and the more your hair overlaps itself, it will create less movement and allow for less texture. Ideally, Asian hair wants to be its longest towards the external areas of the hairline for length perception and shorter moving towards the mid-points where the hair is trying to achieve that texture, so if referring to the top, the front should be the longest, the middle of the head should be shorter and textured out more to allow for more movement
Also behind using your flat iron to curl and add wave. The key for Asian hair is less hydration. There’s a fine line between hair that is too dry and too hydrated. Think black hair to Asian hair as a spectrum. Black hair needs more oils, Asian hair needs damn near none unless you have longer hair or it’s damaged from chemicals. Also, if changed your shampoo and conditioner that could be another factor. The idea is, you want your hair more towards the dry side of things. It’ll allow for more “fluff”. That way, when you style it and add product, it’ll allow for more play and less oils and weight.
It may just be the product that i use, but i like to have a short messy style. However throughout the day it will just flatten. Or when my hair grows slightly, it will just be impossible to create a messy look :/
make sure your barber is adding as much texture as he can when he cuts your hair, you can also ask him for recommendations for better products to use. and as mentioned in the video, sea salt spray is the GOAT for textured hair, and you also want a wax with a better hold to keep the style throughout the whole day.

Somos 2 hermano. Pero hay maneras de hacerlo funcionar. Hidratandolo, usando pomadas o arcillas en lugar de gel. Si no te gustan los resultados siempre está la opción de una cirugía capilar o keratina ✌🏻

do you consider using kreatin?

this was very helplful thanks man

Tbh so far i can texture most of my hair but idk why i keep failing texturing my front bangs, it keep falling down straight no matter what i do..
Same plus if i keep tying to give it some Volume i have to constantly slide my Fingers back through it and just by doing that i loose about 20 strains of Hair in the Front, it sucks. And when it does look nice it eventually falls flat again After 15 Minutes
