  • This was absolutely the best video educating on men’s hair. I loved every single tip and even found #2 to be the most relatable. For all of my teenage years, I always did the mid-fade sides with a short-medium top. It is totally true that with an undercut fade, it’s pretty high maintenance that needs a cut every 2-3 weeks. Since the last 8 months (in my younger 20s), I’ve been embracing longer hair by first doing a modern mullet where it’s longer top and back with short sides. Now I totally want to grow an 80s George Michael hairstyle and embrace that “flow” look. I have the length for the top and back, now to enjoy the process of growing the sides until it reaches a point where it’ll flow back which will probably take a couple months. I’ve definitely been interested in hair care the past few weeks and this video was easily the most informative and helpful. Thanks a ton!

  • I used to have straight hair with an ugly and flat combover and I was forced to get that hairstyle for most of my life until recently I decided to grow my hair out. It was the best decision I made and I had the middle part flow hairstyle that was slightly curly for a while and I lost track of how many compliments I got from it but eventually I got bored of the flow and I just trimmed the back and sides and I currently have the fringe and I absolutely love it. I still miss the flow but I’m thinking I’ll bring it back in the spring or summer. I’m so glad I decided to grow my hair

It looks good on me when I give it a rub to make it look messy. It can also be combed to give a neat look. So, it's kind of the cut I've wanted. It's easily last me 1.5-2 weeks. 8.5/10 cut.

  • I'm definitely in the phase of longer more clean business like flow hairstyle now in my late 20s after getting fades most of my life where I have to get a haircut almost 2x per month which definitely adds up especially with the prices of haircuts these days almost creeping up. Now I can experiment in crafting and styling my hair more to fit a more grown professional look and only having to go to the barber maybe every 2-3 months for a quick clean up so it's not too unkempt.

  • 16:30 : For anyone with curly/freezy hair, he is right. I started embracing the curls couple years ago. it's been a long road but now I have finally found how to wear them in a way I like. I highly recommend the r/curlyhair guide. It's a gold mine. Here are the key points : - Apply curl cream and curl gel when you're hair are dripping wet and scrunch your hair THEN pat them dry. - Use conditioner and try to do no or low shampoo, basically use conditioner once as shampoo and then as conditioner. - Don't touch your hair when they're drying. Once they're dry, break the gel crust with your hand full of hair oil.

  • 00:29 💇‍♂ Seek professional advice for finding the perfect hairstyle as they have an in-depth understanding of hair behavior and can provide personalized recommendations. 02:49 🧔 Many current hair trends focus on longer-lasting styles that require less frequent maintenance, such as haircuts that can be stretched for two months or more. 05:10 👔 Your hairstyle should complement your overall style and vibe, considering factors like clothing, footwear, and lifestyle. 08:00 🔄 Leaning into your hair's natural tendencies, including texture and growth patterns, is key to finding the perfect hairstyle that suits you. 11:29 🌱 During the awkward phase of growing your hair long, maintain the sides and back, and let the top grow to achieve a balanced look. 12:11 💆‍♂ Maintaining a healthy hair care routine includes a balanced diet, managing stress, and avoiding extreme practices. Common concerns like hat-wearing or using hairspray typically don't damage hair significantly. 14:05 💇 Regularly blow drying short hair is unlikely to cause damage; trimming the ends is more common. 14:33 🚿 The "no shampoo" trend can work wonders for some people, so it'sworth trying to skip shampoo for a couple of weeks to see how your hair responds. 16:27 💆 Fixing frizzy, dry, or coarse hair can involve embracing your natural texture, using moisturizing products, or opting for long-term treatments like keratin. 18:06 👴 Dealing with thinning hair often involves choosing hairstyles that work with your thinning pattern and not trying to hide it completely. 20:11 💨 The hairdryer can be a versatile tool to change your hair's appearance, adding volume, reducing volume, adding shine, and reshaping it without the need for excessive products. Regularly blow drying your hair a bit longer can yield great results.

  • as i was about 16 i found the best hair cutter for me. he spoiled me so much and it was the first time i really experienced to be in the presence of a really good professional hair cutter who could connect to me and my hair. he touched my hair every time i went in and we changed things bit by bit and he could tell me exactly on what to change to suit a specific hairstyle to me. he left when i was 22 and I never got in touch with him again and ever since i'm stuck in finding a hair cutter who could even provide me 33% of what he did. i gave so many hair cutter a chance and paid from 15€ to 80€ for a haircut and almost everyone don't like the style i like and seemingly can't even style it. most time i have to convince them to make it like i want and honestly if the hair cutter is ignoring wide spread trends, talk them down and are unwilling to style and cut them, i lose trust in them. as a naive customer my though is, that the cut should be suited for the style one is going after and that the hair cutter should know or teach me how to style my hair but almost none of them do which makes me feel that the hair cutter is not the right for me. also what i noticed in germany is that the hair cutters can be placed in two categories: 1. german hair cutters (normal hair salon) and 2. mostly foreign hair cutters/barbers (barber shops). the first group is so bound by what they learned and look downwards to barber shops like hair styles and won't do it or do it but fail at them. they can handle top hair good and give some good advice but when it comes to the sides they lack experience and want to distance them from the "barber" style. the second group provide more mainstream cuts and are really good at them specially when it comes to cutting the sides but they lack complexity and most struggle to cut the top hair. some times i went to a german hair cutter and then to a barber to finish off the things the german hair cutter won't do like making a fade starting from 0mm. honestly it's really sad to search and search for a suitable hair cutter for me but not finding one and i don't think i have to much expectations but maybe like i said in the beginning the one hair cutter really spoiled me.

  • 14:35 Yeah, you just have to try it, but if you do, and it does work - it really does do miracles. I've always had terrible issues with dandruff, but after I stopped using shampoo when washing my hair, all of them went away. It just works, no dandruff anymore. About other products though, I just use some hairstyling gel after I wash my hair to make it _stay_ puffy. I can get my hair to be puffy with just a blow-drier, but if I don't use a gel, then it will lay back down as the day goes by.

  • a 20yo woman here....just got a wolf cut, I have wavy and very thick and voluminous hair, the hairdresser straightened my hair after getting a wolf cut and it looked EXACTLY as I wanted it to look. 3 days later I oil and then shampoo wash my hair (+conditioner) and I SO INSTANTLY REGRETTED...I look like a 13 yo school boy but after listening to this man I got so much motivation to fix it...my hair became thicker and wavy after wash, so the style I was looking for has completely gone...but now I am very excited and confident to explore more of what suits my hair and what doesn't....this video was an absolute lifesaver even for a woman like me who doesn't like to use 100 products on the hair and neither has the time or energy to blow dry or straighten it everyday😅

  • if you have recending hair, use a derma stamp (or derma roller) and use rose mary oil or other oils that will help you with hair growth (look it up on how you use derma stamp)

  • Great video. I stopped using shampoo 2 years ago and couldn’t be happier with the results. I rinse my hair daily with warm water. I’ll condition every 2 days. And once a week I’ll do a deep scalp cleaning with Nexxus scalp scrub. Thank you for this great content.

  • For those wondering about losing their hair (including Andrew who comments that he's receding), hair loss is a fixable problem in the far FAR majority of cases. If you are experiencing any kind of hair loss like receding, thinning or just having your hands full every time you run your hands through it then you are not alone. The key in this is to act as soon as possible because the further it progresses the harder it is to regain that ground. Fixing this consists of a couple key things. The first is finasteride, that is used to lower the DHT in your body. DHT is the very thing that is very important when you are growing, but doesn't do much when you are fully grown. But if you are sensitive to DHT then it will attack your hair follicles and cause it to fall out. By taking finasteride every day, you ensure that DHT can no longer do damage to your hair. The typical dose is 1mg per day, but can also be reduced to .5 or .25 per day while still being quite effective. The goal is to at least be stable, but some users also report regrowth from using it. The second is dutasteride. That is basically finasteride but way stronger. While it is more potent, the half-life period is also way longer. This is for when finasteride does not do enough for you. But also harder to come by in a lot of countries. The third is minoxidil. While scientists still don't exactly know how it works, it can lead to a lot more hair growth than finasteride or dutasteride can. The problem is that any gains from minoxidil use is tied, which means that it will only grow or stay for as long as you use it. It also is not a substitute for fin/dut because the inner workings are very different. You should use at least fin while using minoxidil. The fourth is microneedling. While not being very effective by itself, it can be quite powerful when combined with topical minoxidil. Be aware that it does pose some risk, hence why it is not recommended to only microneedle without using minoxidil. If I read my own comment around 5 years earlier I would have way better hair right now. But now I have been on fin for around 1,5 years and also had my hair transplant just two months ago. If you have the option to act now, please do it and thank me later.

  • I had like 4 or 5 guys that asked me what haircut I do, and honestly i have no idea, I go to the same barber for more than 10 years, and every time i asked to do something a little different from the previous cut , always changing something, testing it out, letting it grow for 1 month, some times 4 months, and I think i know my hair pretty well now and what types of haircut suits me, as my barber knows too, everytime I ask something he does it perfectly, and even adjust some stuff I didnt know
