DIY Vinyl Wrapping ★ How to Carbon Fiber Car Wheels / Rims ★

A Time lapsed tutorial video showing how to wrap wheels in Carbon Fiber Vinyl. I think the contrast between the carbon fiber effect and dark silver came out looking really good.
A very cheap method to get your rims looking one of a kind, hope this video helps you in your Wrapping endeavors!
Thanks for watching! :)

  • the first REAL ALL Carbon Fiber rims came out late 2013 and were for a Porshce or another sports car and they were over 10,000$ for the whole set. Read it in a car magazine somewhere, Carbon Fiber is way more expensive than a simple 1,000$ a rim.

  • Odpoczęli 1 noc w Olkuszu i jechali dalej. Spotkali Zycha ze Zgorzelic, który był ich stryjem bardzo życzliwym i wesołym. Miał córkę Jagienkę. Wracał on z wojny z Tatarami. Po drodze spotkali myśliwych i Zbyszko zabił łukiem żubra. Okazało się, że tym myśliwym była Jagienka. Uściskała się z ojcem

  • First of all, when wrapping anything such as rims, cars, etc you should not heat the material first because that way you are just forcing the material to relax and then stretch to recover it's form. What you need to do is to try to install all the flat surfaces until you need to heat the material up to a certain temperature otherwise the material and/or the glue will loose its properties making it less reliable. Also you did not take the air out from the middle which will eventually burn with the heat of the sun and will crack and peel off of your rims. A little tip, when wrapping something you might want to get an exacto blade with a few extra blades due to the fact that to make clean cuts you need sharp blades otherwise you will get a real ugly cut. Something else that I wanted to say is that wrapping rims I would recommend when the rims have flat surfaces or does not have too many curves, and also do not wrap the outter lip because when you mount your tires on the rims the chances of messing up the wrap is very high. All I said is based on experience, I am a wrap installer and I do these kind of jobs every day, and one of the most important things when doing a wrap is the cleaning of the surface because if the surface is bad consequently the wrap will probably come out bad. If any question about wrapping you can comment in any of my videos and I will gladly help you.

    • I want a little tip bro. I want to tint my headlights with those translucid wraps but I don't get a heat gun, can I use my gf's hair dryer?

      @patrickoliveira5730@patrickoliveira57307 жыл бұрын
    • +ZxRIPxZ what you can do is buy a heat gun at any store because the hair dryer will probably not heat it as much as you need it to

      @eduy17@eduy177 жыл бұрын
    • Felix Piloto The problem is that where I live they are kinda expensive and annoying to buy. The hair dryer I got home i really powerful my gf said, it's one of the best, so I might try it out to see how it goes

      @patrickoliveira5730@patrickoliveira57307 жыл бұрын
    • +ZxRIPxZ You can try it with just a little piece of material, and if does not work then buy the heat gun, use it and return it to get your money back

    • Felix Piloto Ok thanks bro
