UK and US police live on two different planets. that man would’ve been dead for all 50 seconds of this video in the US
Britain sending women to deal with it.. deary me
In the US the attacker would have also had a gun and killed a lot more than 5 people

That first police lady in? Such bravery, straight in and stopped it alone!
Clueless. She luckily didn't die.
It looked like she missed with her taser?
All the officers where doing the job they are paid and told to do you cold hear one barking orders (commands must be obeyed). She was not alone...

That was very civilised on behalf of the police, compared to their US counterparts.
Well, you don't bring a taser to a sword fight, you bring a gun. These officers got lucky this time.
@@yourenotthatguy6295 No, clearly you bring a taser. This man was apprehended and arrested and will now face a court and justice. With a gun, it would have just been yet another person dead for no reason and with no resolution.

People forget that coppers are just people too, before you start having a go at how this was handled put yourself in their shoes....
Why, who’s having a go. 🤷♂️🤫
@@coniferclose I few people commented that the the arrest was a "mess". Probably overlooking that tasers are one-shot (and quite a few had been expended) and that batons are not necessarily a match for a sword, as proven by the two wounded officers. Courageous officers.
I'm sure that's what they get paid for, what happens when you've got 3 women at the front
Lot of people just sick of the state, and that includes the armed squads.
Don't join the police then 🤷
Wow, that policewoman is The Terminator. So brave.
Makes me so proud
Brave with a tazer from 10m from back?what there to be brave?
😂😂that police officer was using his colleague as a shield
Yeah he was pushing his colleague and ordering him to do something ( must admit couldn’t make it out) and he was the one holding the baton….had he been tasered then?
Thought thst myself. Senior Officer still in Senior Officer-mode, barking orders to others maybe? Or is it just below his Pay Grade to recover the machete? 🤔 Saying that, someone's got to lead the charge l suppose. Panic and confusion sets in of course....because these Police Officers are only human too.
that colleague was in blue rubber gloves, so properly equipped to deal with a tasered attacker.
WHY BLUR HIS FACE!? he doesn't deserve privacy.
Haven't you worked that out yet only one reason to protect the guilty
Nor does he deserve notoriety
He doesnt fit the usual, so called terrorist narrative. Dirty media, showing its colours again. Wheres the mans nationality or religion ?!
He's of a certain hue so it's a mental health issue and therefore, he must be protected.
The truth, of course, is that the Guardian will have a blanket policy for not showing the faces of unconvicted suspects before they are revealed by the authorities. To protect the innocent sometimes you have to momentarily protect the guilty.
Thankyou Police. You are very brave and we are lucky to have you.
0:29 that cop coming in late having contributed nothing and making the most noise and commotion 😂😂😂😂😂
He used the other cop as a human shield. Just wait till his colleagues see this video back at the station.
I thought the same too lol

Think he was telling the taser guy to cut the power so they could arrest him

My heart breaks for the family of that young lad who was just going to school 😢😢😢😢 and that maniac murdered him …😡😡 life is so meaningless to so many these days….
I used to live in London and always admired the courage, professionalism and humour of the met police. I live in Wales now, the level of corruption and cronyism here in the local police force is ridiculous. Appreciate what you’ve got Londoners, a few bad police doesn’t mean the entire force is rotten. Don’t let mainstream media skew your perception.
well I live in london now in the past 10 years and what you say is BS, majority are needing an overhaul and the behaviour is getting worst so the action on the street will be worst, just watch
worse. Worst means it’s as bad as it can get - but then you’d say “the worst”.
They work for the government so of course the whole force is rotten.
I’m a born and bred Londoner. The point is this was bravery from our police despite the issues within the Met. If this was the US many more would be dead just by virtue of how they deal with situations..
@@veestaimee6611totally agree.
Sgt. Catherine Cawood, still on the job!
I wonder if their going to call him a terrorist, I'm guessing his the wrong colour for that label
If it transpires that he was pursuing political aims, then he will. It's that simple. I see the point you're attempting, but it is not well made. And it's obvious why the distinction exists and no amount of gaslighting or whataboutism is going to change it.
I don’t expect someone who can’t discerne whether to use their or they’re or hes or his to be able to grasp the (low-level) complexity of what constitutes terrorism. Moreover it’s exactly that person who one expects to use racism to explain problems.
Why hasn't The Guardian dragged on some random white person to denounce this crime?

Shouldn't they dispatch male officers to deal with that? half of that police team were female
They think it's of critical importance to send in weaker, smaller officers as long as they have a certain kind of genitals (not if it's male) in a situation where everybody could be killed and stature, strength and stamina are important, they're totally ignored in favour of paying attention to reproductive parts instead, something not the least bit relevant to the situation.
