London sword attack - Attacker 'rammed pedestrian before killing boy & severing cop’s hand'

2024 ж. 30 Сәу.

THIS is the moment a sword-wielding maniac ploughed a van into a pedestrian before allegedly going on a rampage killing a 14-year-old.
Five people including two police officers were knifed in the terrifying frenzy, with a female cop almost losing her hand while battling to stop the attacker.
The schoolboy victim has been named locally as Daniel Anjorin.
Police chased the attacker through gardens before he was floored by three 50,000-volt Taser bolts.
A 36-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of murder. The suspect was last night under guard in hospital.
Video shows the moment he was injured when he crashed his Ford van into a house before the carnage in Hainault, North East London.

  • Killing a 14 year old with a sword terrorising the neighbours. If this is not a terrorist attack, then what is?

    • it is not a terrorist attack because the psycopath is WHITE. If he was couloured or a recent immigrant then it would have been classed as an acto of terrorism.

    • How simple are you? Do you just live in the Uslessversity spoiled brat bubble? Terrorism does not mean terrifying attack. That's every attack. Terrorism is a stratergy to achieve the objective of political, sociological and ideological change and control over a society. What was his objective? Does he have a manifesto? What group did he belong to? Have any taken responsibility? You see the difference between that and sole man goes mad with sword..... Terrorism is not related to race, religion or politics. It's a tactic that can be adopted by anyone.

    • Despite what the word seems to be, to be classed as terrorism it needs to have a political motive. Counterintuitively, terrorism is not just spreading terror.

      @SonarFates@SonarFates21 күн бұрын
    • If you look up the definition of the word terrorism, it has to have some sort of political aim or affiliation with a wider cause. A crazy person attacking people at random does not fall under such definition. "Terrorism - the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims."

    • @@bakersmileyface ‘it makes sense, it works’ is a low IQ utilitarian point of view. So many critiques of utilitarianism have been made in philosophy, for example; if we want to end all suffering, the utilitarian method that would work greatest would be to end all life because that completely ends suffering. So obviously the most pragmatic thing isn’t always the best. Second of all you presuppose that humans don’t have a right of self preservation which is stupid, and third of all you’re just manipulating data and leaving out other important data. If you remove Chicago, Baltimore and one or two of the other high crime cities in the USA they have one of the lowest gun homicide rates in the world and according to the CDC at a low estimate over 1.25 million lives are saved by legal firearms a year, majority of the time they’re not even fired; just brandished. Dr John Lott puts the high estimate at around 3 million plus. Maybe educate yourself before leaving stupid fact checkable comments that anyone who knows what they’re talking about on this specific subject can check you on

    • @@underarmbowlingincidentof1981 forgive me, it's 2024! I forgot, words and opinions hurt far more than a man wielding a sword in the street. Yes I want to know his name, I would like to know if it's a homegrown problem or one we've imported? I don't see how you come to the conclusion, knowing his name would lead to copy cats? There is a bladed weapon epidemic on our streets, I don't think any would-be attacker would care what his name is. Based on your theory entire religious texts could be banned, just in case someone thinks it's ok to emulate someone else. If the person's name was an English one, I guarantee you his name would have been released straightaway. The fact it hasn't....

  • Well firstly, the police response was commendable with their effective coordination and use of tasers. However, there seemed to be a lapse in the subsequent handling of the suspect, as they should have promptly applied heavy restraints given the evident threat to life. Despite the absence of firearms, the situation warranted decisive action. It's apparent that concerns about potential legal repercussions may have hindered the officers' actions, highlighting the need to alleviate such worries from policing. We must reinstate confidence in law enforcement to ensure public safety, rather than relying on alternative, less effective means. Additionally, if there's a shift towards limiting parental disciplinary authority, then it becomes imperative to empower law enforcement to appropriately discipline individuals as adults. This includes ensuring that police officers have the necessary support and authority to maintain order and safety in communities effectively.
