    • It doesn't sound like he had the legal right to just keep them based on the custody arrangement. Maybe he started consulting a lawyer or something about trying to get full custody and it just wasn't mentioned in this video. Also, since there were no marks on the kids, it's possible even CPS couldn't do anything. It seems like their power and autonomy varies a lot by state. So, a situation like this would likely take a lot of time and red tape to resolve. As far as going to Europe, it might have been something he was required to do for work, or something planned so far in advance that it wouldn't have made sense to cancel since helping the kids was going to take months to get anywhere anyway.

  • The ex-wife, Sarah, should be thanking her lucky stars that she and her kids were spared. However, something tells me she rather enjoyed playing the 'other' woman to Michael after he had left her for Casei. The fact that she moved back close to them, and he used to go visit her home for days was no coincidence. She may have felt vindicated that SHE was the one he was cheating with, now. She may not have known at the time, but I refuse to believe she lies all those days for Michael after the murders because she believed whatever BS he supposedly told her. As for Michael, I won't even spare a minute on him. He's one of the vilest family annihilaters I've come across, and that really says something about him. Almost all other players in this story (except for the innocent kids, of course) also come across as unlikeable in one way or another. Starting from the victim's own relatives who didn't report her and the kids missing or do anything to check on her for six whole weeks, to Sarah the ex-wife who seemed to me like a 'pick-me' girl still obsessing over the affections of her vile ex-husband, and even the landlord/property manager who just cleaned the crime scene like it was nothing and even had the audacity to refuse a search despite FIVE residents of the property having gone missing. It's like these people were all living on another planet. Ugh.

    • Don't forget Richard, who very willingly dropped his sons off to the man that his sons had told him was abusing them and then took off for a vacation to Europe. He didn't even try to contact Casei about the abuse or ask to keep them longer and try to figure something out. Instead when "Casei" texted asking if he was still planning on dropping them off the next day, he's all "yup" and "ok" that Michael would be picking them up. At the very least, he could have insisted that Casei be the one to pick them up or he wasn't going to hand them over.

  • when you get a death sentence, it needs to be carried out speedily. none of these incessant appeals that drag on for years! they showed no mercy for their victims!

    @sheridan1887@sheridan188710 күн бұрын
    • Except there have been a number of people who have had death sentences overturned on appeal after DNA testing has proven them innocent decades later because at the time, DNA testing wasn't advanced enough to test. This has happened many times. There are many famous cases of innocent people, including children... If you want that on your conscience, by all means go ahead.

      @marnie9063@marnie90639 күн бұрын
    • @@marnie9063 it won't be on my conscience. Jesus was accused and sentenced to death, totally innocent. He was murdered. Thank God He arose from the dead. If anyone dies, but yet are saved, they go to heaven. There have been countless and untold numbers of martyrs over the centuries. They are rejoicing because they have eternal rest. So yes, if someone innocent of a crime is put to death, it is absolutely a tragedy. But no, it WON'T be on my conscience.

      @sheridan1887@sheridan18879 күн бұрын
    • @@sheridan1887 so if it was your family member, let's say brother or husband who are wrongfully accused and sentenced to death, you wouldn't car because they go to Heaven? 😂

      @Larish10@Larish108 күн бұрын
    • @@Larish10 why do you assume I wouldn't care? First off, you don't know me, so you wouldn't know that I don't have a brother or a husband. But yes, of course, if a family member was wrongfully accused and sentenced to death I would care. And since you asked that question in the first place, you obviously have no understanding of my comment. The reason why you don't understand is because the natural person cannot understand the spiritual.

    • Maybe she's crying about her children (she cried when speaking about him saying goodbye to them) ....that is their father. I can't imagine being in her position & how that will affect their children knowing their father did that to their siblings. They not only lost their dad but brothers & sisters.
