Each generation of Samsung’s Galaxy devices comes preloaded with a fresh new rendition of “Over the Horizon”, Samsung’s signature, six-note sound. This year, Samsung teamed up with Icelandic composer Pétur Jónsson to craft a minimalist arrangement that takes listeners on an atmospheric journey of discovery.

  • I love the effort Samsung puts into these ringtones...they make me feel at peace and relaxed. Fitting for their incredible phones, but this music is way more than just the phones.

  • I was working in the oil field in the Permian Basin out in West Texas and when I went out one morning to start my truck this song came up on my company phone which was connected to gps and other things. Let me tell you West Texas has mornings and sunsets that only God can paint as I warmed up my truck I listened to this song - something came over me so I listened to this one song for 12 hours straight until my shift was over - the only thing I have to say is this song and the West Texas sky gave me a peace that you have to live once in your lifetime 🌹🌹🌹🌵🌵🌵🌵

  • This is an undeniable, timeless masterpiece, and Ludde is one of the Greats of our generation. This piece has become the mark of rites of passage in my life after first becoming my ringtone years ago and now as a piece I listen to regularly on Spotify. Something about this brings calm, peace, joy, hope and value to my life. God bless you, Ludde, for composing this. I can tell you put your heart and soul into every note. It shows. And it is FELT by us as listeners! Absolutely breathtaking mastery.

    • Does your ringtone start with the very beginning (with the dude walking in, setting the cup on the table and opening up the piano) or does it start with the actual piano? I ask this because since I have the S7, I obviously don't have that as a ringtone. I downloaded the song (from a small youtuber) and set it as my alarm. The problem is I wake up with the dude setting the cup on the table rather than the piano 😡😩

  • This is the best version and the one I was looking for. No 2011, 2019, or that one bad 2017 one. Edit: One time we bluetoothed my (older) sister's phone to my dad's car and it played some audio clips of her saying random things until it played this. I was thinking about that song a day ago. So I typed over the horizon to find the 2019 one, but it wasn't this one. I typed over the horizon 2017, that wasn't it. So i decided on 2018. Best choice of my life.
