Heartwarming Alert! Your cat brought you kittens?! Here's the incredible reason why!
Ever wondered why your furry friend trusts you with her most precious possessions? This video dives deep into the fascinating reasons why mother cats bring their kittens to humans.
"Firstly it's about trust." Cat: So I dropped the little shit.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who noticed 😂
Then she had the nerve to look at it and be like “Oh shit, my bad”
She trusts the Human. They never said anything about her kitten trusting her, lol.
"Oh shit."

Yup, that's me with currently 4 of my cats. Already have 1 american long hair, then pregnant momma cat starts howling on my front door. I took care of her, she birth 4 healthy kittens. She nursed them for a bit, and then she just goes away. I have never seen her around again since she left, and a lot of wild cats like to hang on my back yard.

My nephew was living with me and his cat came into my room in the middle of the night, woke me up, and decided my bed was a good place to deliver her kittens.
it happens regularly. I've had 3 cats decide someone's bed is the safest place to be when in labour
Virtually every litter that was born in my house was on my belly or lap, except one, the most recent. I woke up at 5 a.m. to hear a plaintive and pathetic little "mew." Expecting this, I turned on the lights and looked at the nest beside my bed. There was no baby in it, but Momma Kitty was sitting in it, looking rather disconcerted. I heard the mew again, and looked beside the nest. There she was, completely coated in clumping cat litter. About 3 minutes of frantic gentility with some paper towels and warm water, momma had a baby, and was so relieved!
I had a cat do that it was at night next to my head
Our cats delivered their kittens in my brothers bed too, like under it xD
Oh, I forgot to say what the cat's opinion of you says of you! It says a lot, and it's good.
Firstly it's about trust... Kitten being dropped: So this is a trust fall?
Good one
it not trust fall (fall implies there is someone to catch).. it more of trust drop.
dont worry, cats have 9 lives
And a trust fail.
Yes, trust failure 😃😭

My mom once fed a pregnant stray cat and then she brought my mom 2 little kittens and disappeared. She knew they would have a better life with people and she knew where to go that had food and someone willing to feed them. Very special moment for my mom
We had a stray that that hung around our carport. Wouldn't let us handle her but had no problem letting us adopt her kittens.
Crystal meth cat.
It's mum introducing their small gods to their human servants. "Child, this is your staff, demand things from then and order them about."
My childhood cat gave birth in my mom's closet one day. A few days later, I came home from school to find her entire litter sleeping on my pillow. Mom tried to take the kittens back to where she gave birth, but got swiped at twice, so she left them on the pillow. I tried to put the pillow on the floor, but she got sassy. So, I just put the pillow in a basket and move it to the side of the bed (against wall and headboard), that way it wasn't blocking me, she got to stay on the bed, and I didn't worry about them falling off.
"She got sassy." 🤣
Cats know us hoomies are big soft shites, they bring to and give us their kittens and we're all like "Yay soft fluffy kittens" and we'll do everything to make sure the kittens having enough to eat, drink and play with.
Cats: "This is the way."
Here. I heard you guys go nuts for these things. Im gonna go grab a nap.
And we baby the kittens. Give them little beds , blankets, and pillows. plus lots of snacks. Yeah, cats know we are big ol 2 legged suckers.
Hooman: ooww they trust us. Cat: They work for me😂😂
What they're really thinking: "what the hell is this weird ass hairless monkey predator why isn't it trying to eat me wait it's feeding me WTF!" :the cat then proceeds to have kittens: "alright spineless harmless monkey take care of my young for I'm gonna go munch on some catnip and maybe go into heat later"

Once when I was younger, maybe 10 years old I was patting a cat and she suddenly walked away just to return with her only a few weeks old kitten. This was the first time I saw that mother cat and it made me really happy to see that a cat that barely knew me trusted me enough to bring me her kitten. I was just happy and thought that it was cute but later I realized that this a pretty good sign that I'm a person that animals trust

Mom Cat: my babies trust you, i do too Me: you mean it ? Mom cat: mhm *everyone hugs"
My cat was a familiar stray that wanted to live here and we refused. The night after having her kittens she brought one at the door, left him there and went in to take a nap. We fostered her five kittens but ended up tired and skinny even though she ate well, she never shied away from her momma job. Four years later she is a bit chubby, has a new playmate and rules the place.
Parenthood, not just motherhood ❤
All adorable, but the momma cat bringing her kitten to the baby is just😢❤
Cat's rule 👍🐱
What's da music??
cats are too dumb to rule anything. plus nobody wants a neglectful prick to rule anything.
I have a pair of cats siblings (one ginger tom and a tortie female). We spayed the female to prevent her from the risk of getting pregnant young and some random grey tabby queen decide that my house would be the best place to seek child support and right now i have 3 energetic gray-ginger kittens staying at my home.
I think your ginger Mister might be involved ...

@@BA-ji1zh Now that's wild
Worth noting that feral cats will do this with other cats in their colony. And mamas will even take turns. And if you've ever seen a mama cat bring her kitten over to the family dog, same reason - they're socializing with the dog, meaning they see them as a part of their family.
Exactly and it might the kitten have more potential to be adopted with a family that already has a dog
This! My mom’s cat would bring her kittens to the dog when she needed a stretch and a walk. Our dog took it in stride and the kittens would crawl all over him but he seemed to know what was up😂
My cat never had to do this … you see she was 4 months old when she escape and came back pregnant, she came to us when delivery time was on, I assisted her with her kittens and after all I bring her fresh water and food help her to keep the kittens clean with a warm water and a clean towel changing the covers pillow and blanket we had for her she appreciated it , one of the kittens didn’t make it , that one was weak sense the beginning, my daughters friend is a vet and she came over and she prescribed sume supplements but it didn’t make it she pull him to the side but she never left his side she showed me and it was the most broken hearted meowed I ever heard from her I wrapped it in a little blanket and she just sit there like ok I am ready to say good bye as she looked at me and turn around I take it out and berried. Now every other time she goes in my closet and she sits where she place the kitty and just stays there with her eyes close🥺
Also cats often help each other with their kittens, so chances are, you are honorary baby sitter!
Cats socializing their kittens to humans is the cutest thing I've heard. We think a lot alike more than I thought 😂
True indeed.❤️✌️
Domestic cats are one of only a few felines that are semi-communal. Sometimes in cat colonies, especially if there are multiple litters at once, the mother cats will take turns caring for the babies so the others can hunt. Basically, if a momma cat brings you her kittens, it means she views you as a fellow good momma!

Personal anecdote, I live on a farm and all of our cats just found us. One of these cats would always be pregnant and when they were older they would wander to our home. At some point we befriended her, and when her next litter came she brought them one by one from our chicken coop to our doorstep. We got them a box for warmth and helped take care of them! We got most of those kittens adopted, the ones that didn't either ran off or became our pets, and the mama cat is my buddy :) [she is cuddling with me right now]
Same here... our cats are all strays who just showed up on the farm over the years. They keep the barn free of mice and other rodents in exchange for shelter, food, protection from coyotes provided by our dogs and the occasional scritch behind the ear. One of them has decided I belong to him though and follows me on every hike or walk around the property I take though he dislikes being touched.
So cute 🥺🥺🩷
the background videos are too cute
Cats are made of pure cuteness

My cat luna had a sad backstory, her mother died because a stray dog ate some of her internal organs, then she was ran over by a truck but she luckily survived, we took her to the vet before taking her home but me and my parents were scared because we have another cat that is very jealous if other pets are introduced to her but when she saw luna my cat started sleepimg with her, it was so cute and i cant forget thta moment, they are now super close to eachother

ok storytime: so at my old apartment there was a cat and she would always come to me whenever i would open the door. one time i heard meowing under the cabinet that was outside my door when i went to check i saw 3 kittens, one black one white one orange and the mom was a calico one. anyway i called my friend who works at the vet and she brought them to vaccinate them and for 2 years i sheltered them but then i moved apartments
Our cat had three kittens and she expected us to help. When she wanted them moved from the living room to the bedroom at night, she never moved more than one, then expected us to move the others. When she left the kittens to get something to eat and one started crying, she would peek around the corner until my husband or I went over to calm the kittens. Then she went back to eating. She had us well trained! And when the neighborhood kids lined up at the door, she had no problem with us letting in one at a time for a chance to hold a kitten.
Very cute katze
Same as humans, it’s Natural for a litter to stay with mum through younger and younger siblings. Both to witness and learn how to socialize with others, males in particular mating. As well as pregnancy, birth and nurturing. Then survival skills, running, hiding, seeking, fighting and hunting. Only recently studying cats in the Wild, we learn they actually very social. Like big cats tigers, leopards, cheetahs, lynx etc, mothers will only push away children when mating themselves.
In the wild, mother cats raise their litter as a team with other moms.
Socialized domestic cats tend to think of their humans as a mother figure. Cat have a very fluid concept of who they're mother is. Generally any kitten in a social group will go to any mother cat, and that mother cat will take care of that kitten. So in this case, a mother cat is taking it's kitten(s) to what it sees as it's mother, for essentially babysitting.
❤❤
It's trust, but it provides a sense of safety and security for them where they can relax and get some rest. Adorable kitties. ❤🐈

Our cat birthed three times, all of which I witnessed, and she doesn't have to bring them to me. I'm always bringing myself to them. She exits her area and leaves me with the kitties. Her first mate was actually very affectionate and often slept with them and cleaned them. They always sleep around him and on his head cause he's so big and fluffy.

Our one pregnant rescue cat started giving birth on my husband's day off. First kitten out, hubby came over faint and had to go lie down and pass out. He just couldn't handle it! 🤷🏼♀️😂
My cat did that to me once 😭👍
Our eldest 2's mum liked boys but hated girls. She had 1 surviving daughter (our eldest) and 5 sons in her 2 litters. Our girl would always be the one she left behind or ignored. Fortunately, our girl had 2 wonderful uncles (1 biological and an older cat) who doted on all their nephews and niece equally, cleaning them, taking care and keeping them warm. The best mums a cat could have were 2 Toms.
When I fostered kittens and their mama a few years ago, the mama loved me immediately and brought her kittens to me the very first night.

Those short legged cats make me so angry. What kind of torture it must be to be programmed as an agile predator but then you were bred with an intentional disability that makes that impossible.
Yeah I don’t think it’s cute, it just looks painful and awkward for a cat
Yeah, no, don't buy these cats from breeders it incentivizes them to keep breeding cats like this, but if you see one at a shelter, do feel free to adopt it (I feel the same way about declawed cats I'd never do that to a cat but I would adopt one that was decalwed if I happened to see one at a shelter) my gf has the same stance about spaying and neutering animals
@@Dovah_Slayer Don’t buy those hairless cats or Scottish fold cats either. And declawing is monstrous. It is illegal in civilised countries.

When i was a little girl, & knowing my dad, (never had her fixed & mean). I had a beautiful white cat, whenever she had a litter, i'd wake up to find her kittens on my bed around my head. Tbh, i learnt what trust was from her. We had 3 cats, but only mine was female. I miss her so much. And I'm 50 years old now. She wouldn't "trust" no one else except me. When she was finished outside, she'd come back in and sit on my bed for a while, then take each one back to the cupboard where she had given birth. 💜
