  • Best video on the KZheads they have now. No annoying music, No patronising 'on' presentation, No thanking your sponsors for longer than the actual 'content', No asking for money and above all else... straight to the action..... and a beautiful moment captured and shared. BRAVO, this was like the KZhead I remember. 🏆

  • Cars have been my living most of my life, basically fixing them for others. Bringing dead back to life after many years is my favorite. I remember reading a Hot Rod article in 1980 about the 427 Cobra. " The Cobra would peal your eyelids back, bruise your kidneys and have you from 0-60 in 4 seconds..." Years in the business and yet to run across one in except in shows. 20 years running my own shop in Denver, qualified back yarder I guess, because I can't work for someone else and I can't get enough ahead to go fully legit. You Hagerty have my dream job. I've brought quite a few back to life like a '56 Jag Mk 5, and a ground up restore on a '64 Corvette. Also I've done 142 fix and flips in that 20 years. But again, just to keep the bills paid. Thanks for the videos, it keeps the dream alive.

    • @@julianneale6128 I would take issue with that. Perhaps that's somewhat true of the 289 Cobra, which was largely unmodified save for the 260/289 engine implant. But the 427's required a great deal of redesign and engineering to shoehorn that massive engine into that very confined space, and to keep the front/rear weight balance to a near-perfect level.

Personally i CAll them AC Cobras so credit goes to where it's due. AC for AC factory and Cobra for Shelby

    • Probably put them up at local auction would be my guess. Neither the Morgan nor the Bimmer is anywhere near in the same league as the Cobra and 275.

    • Being this is a public board where people can express free and open opinions, I"m not knocking you or anyone else's interests, but Chevelle's and Camaros and Corvettes are incredibly common, maybe even a dime a dozen. These cars seen at car shows and events are invisible. Rare? Hardly. I see at least 5 at every car event.

    • styldsteel1 this is true . Did you know theres more SS or ls6 or z28 or any rare car then built from the factory....lol ..alot of clones out there.. You can thank the car auction and tv shows for over price cars. As mentioned before in other public comments the fun and hobby about old muscle cars getting fixed and restore is no longer fun since prices are ridiculously high . Thank the tv and car auction.. People think they got gold when in reality the car is worth 1/3 off the price what there asking for..

    • Mr. Ace 831 0001 My ex father in law bought a brand new 1970 ss chevelle ls6 after his high school graduation and still has it today with only 7800 original miles unmolested in excellent condition! Its a 4speed car black with black vinyl roof and white racing stripes. Love to know what it's worth!!!

  • It's not really about the cars so much but about who made them. The value is the provenance, Carol, Enzo, these were the artists who had the passion. As much as they are worth had there been an original Warhol or Picasso in that garage you'd be buying a whole bunch of cars with the proceeds.

  • I really enjoyed these auctioneers as they conducted their auction. They were very professional and totally without the cacophonous banner of others auctioneers with their rapid unintelligible blabber.
