Like imagine running for your life from your doppelgänger while its on its hands and legs mouth wide open, chasing you while the most terrifying music is playing, probably why towards the end Peppino wasn’t so scared and more tough, cuz he literally had to fight a nightmare version of himself with one life, like that would be terrifying, just saying.

I love how the final boss is a rare instance of the main protagonist, generally portrayed as insane by mostly anxious, has just finally had enough of the situation and goes absolutely ballistic the moment the boss rush segment comes up. In most cases the player sees this and goes "Oh god, not this shit", but Peppino straight up says, "I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE THIS ANYMORE" and begins throwing hands.

Peppino is a simple man with a simple dream of owning a pizza place he no doubt he had his far share of struggles just getting his place going so much so it made him a anxious nervous wreak but he still kept going eventually getting his place up, sure he was in debt but such is the struggle of owning a small business. being in debt is one thing but having a more successful rival kick you while your down by threatening to destroy his store for litrally NO REASON WHATSO EVER is something else. he may have been on the verge of losing his business but that pizza heading FREAK threatened his dream. Peppino is a determined man fueled by anxiety of losing something he put his blood, sweat and tears into and will fight tooth and nail to keep his simple dream alive.

My favorite part of the Boss Rush isn't just Peppino laying the absolute smackdown on all these jackoffs he's dealt with this whole time But also seeing him pummel The Noise, espically with how The Noise was willing to straight up cheat and use a mini gun to kill Peppino The Pizza Gremlin becomes a complete joke

The final freakout of Peppino when he's confronted with the bosses again + his final method of defeating not-Pizza Face was just the greatest pinnacle of bossfights in my opinion. It's just the culmination of everything you've fought for up to this point with Peppino to protect his restaurant, and he just doesn't give two s***s anymore.

Noise: Certain attacks happen once per hit point and have upgraded attacks afterward, but order is random. Then does random set of attacks. Haven’t done the rest of the bosses yet! :)
The noise has four different attacks and will perform each one twice for each health bar actually

I love the fact that this game is a clear message of love to the Wario Land series and how since Nintendo doesn't want to know about producing others, the fans will take care of bringing back the formula.

ok tips for any people watching this, Taunting before getting hit can parry the attack (usefull against fake peppino when the clones launch from the floor and when going into phase 2) and during the rematch fight you technically dont need Gustav to stun fake peppino, honest FP is probably the easiest of the rematch. during Pizzaheads rematch i personally like doing the rising uppercut to avoid the fly swatter as half the time i undershot my jump.

This game is awesome in all the ways, i love the details in every zone of the tower, is really fascinant! Btw, fake peppino is an scary character and stuff, but is a nice concept of the "an scary and weird version of the main character" thing.
