FINANCIAL PLAN for INR 38,000 SALARY! | Money Matters Ep. 7 | Ankur Warikoo Hindi
Money Matters is a series where I have conversations with normal people such as you and I, on your personal finance issues.
It is important to note that I am NOT a financial expert, I am NOT SEBI registered, and I am NOT qualified to give financial advice.
Everything that I say in these videos is purely through my own experiences.
- So these videos do not offer any stock tips, or specific mutual fund recommendations or get-rich-quick schemes.
- I am not selling any product or service through these videos.
- None of the brands that I mention in these videos have paid me to mention them, unless I explicitly say so (and I will say if the video is sponsored).
This also means that my advice may not always be the right advice. So incase I make a mistake, the best way to correct me will be to share your point of view in the comments, so that everyone can benefit from it.
I am not perfect, nor claiming to be either and would love to learn and grow.
The idea is simply to help people with their finance journey and through their story try to help others who may have a similar story.

I think he is from defence (Army, Navy or Air force). He started career at 18 years... As he have 7 years of experience at age 25... Possible only when you are in defence forces starting in NDA. Retirement after 15 years with pension that to inflation adjusted.. only defence personnel get this... Maturity at age 25 ... only defence personnel we can expect from...
At that case travel expense would have been 0 as the cost is provided by the gov

Sir.. Ur financial advises helps so many young people in current generation to their future life.. Great efforts.. Stay blessed!!
This had me in tears @12:41 I feel him. Having this mentality I believe he can never fail in life. A true provider. Respect
1. Study a bit more, work in USA/Europe for 5 years, get married and buy a house. 2. Work another 10 years in USA/Europe, invest 10cr in equity. Retire and focus on your family and hobby that generates revenue for yourself and future generation. 3. Someone in 40s will realise this.

Great Session. This series will help many of us to get financially independent at the right age. Hats off to Ankur for creating this space.
Hi ankur This series is incredible, and the thing which I like most that you are inviting those persons who are getting middle class salary on average and it really suits me But why are you not accepting my form ??
Manish is so much polite and calm at 25. I was a personal and financial disaster at his age honestly
Tq so much 😊
I didn’t even know about money at that age 😂
I think that's what the defense life teaches you ...I am not even 10% as calm as he is 😀

defence m hai ye...17-18 ki age m recruit hogaya hoga....tabhi pension milegi...but itni nhi jitna ye keh rha...depend on the rank ...after listening his salary....he is not an officer....if he reached to JCO rank ...then only he will get 30-35k pension . otherwise 20k-25k hardly. Best of luck brother...serve well. I am also from defence background. My father is an ex service man. He is retired from JCO RANK. getting pension around 40k. That's why I got this that you are serving in Army.
I was wondering about his job - everything borne by company !!
I'm not getting it. I mean what's his job?? (Manish)
Nahi defense m h to 30-35K abhi milegi, he is right
If he is in navy

Sir me apki aksar sabhi video dekhta hu per aaj message kya he mujhe apki baat samjhana bahut badiya lagta hai Tnx Sir
If in future, after salary increment, our tax slab become 20%, then that 1.3-1.4Cr for home will just become approx 1.1-1.2cr after tax deduction and inflation adjusted value will be approx 40-45L (at 6%) So better consider tax deduction as well while planning so far in future.
Ankur sir your sessions are always great. Very informative and there was very lucrative plan for infants as well. Regards, Muhammad Adil from Karachi Pakistan
You are doing great job Ankur, it is a great help for people like us !

Amazing session It will be really helpful to them who want to be financial freedom
Great job guy's ❤❤❤
This is very good series.. This is more practical... We need more this type of content by picking various personas
Manish im at a same place as you in life! One the extra that you should have asked is that how can one increase the sources of income or his earning potential while working! If you can increase sources of income then you can invest accordingly.
Thanks you so much sir for the video.. Awesome video.. And very helpfull video
Wow sir you're amazing!! ❤️
Valuable, love you Both.
But mujhe ek cheez batao...he is so touchwood lucky... No rent to pay...no food expenses..and after 15 years when he will be 40...he will get 35k per month (or after inflation of Rs 55k)..for ever! I think 38k for a normal person like us .who have to pay rent etc...should be a salary of 60k ...
Yes exactly 💯. He is quite lucky no offence. Hope he achieve lot of success in his life.
He is in defence.he will be definitely getting those, not lucky he is chosen the way, he has joined military at an early age

Sir plz also suggest people to change the job often to make more salary and also suggest people to invest daily rather than monthly ( or atleast weekly or bi weekly )so that they get a better entry rate …
Great video, but returns bohot optimistic side pe h, usually while planning, we should take conservative figures to average out the market risk parameters What are other people thoughts on this? Am I just overthinking this?
You are right !! These are too optimistic. In this day and age , we are surrounded by many uncertainties.
Please like this video so that he continues this series
Hello Ankur, This is the best video I have ever seen. Please tell us which is the best SIP for investment.
If you are investing in home after 15 or 20yrs imagine the cost after 20yrs !! 1.4cr won't be enough to purchase a house after 20yrs !!!
He can increase his sip amount also
complete video dekha last Tak planning to perfect he but is dada jese 18 year me job ko lagana and 15 year ke baad pension milna ekdum outlier he this case study bahot Kam log use kar sakte he. 🙂🙃🙂
Considering a 15-17% returns from here is tricky for ongoing 3 years is what I think ; especially when the tenure is less

Why don't you adjust SIP return after 15 years with minimum 6-7% inflation
Hi Ankur, can you please share the sheet that you used to calculate approx 21% return? Can anyone please help if you know which video is that?

Such a informative session... thanks sir...hope I will join u soon
DONT YOU THINK AFTER 7 YEARS GIVING TO COMPANY HIS SALARY ATLEAST 50000 PM IN HAND ?
I think he is in navy
It's actually much more than 50k if u consider house & food is provided by the company itself. And he makes PF contribution of 10k which is also not part of 40k in hand... That means his Net salary is around 40+10+30=80k
I think he is central government employee maybe because Service is 15 years.
I sometimes feel that, ye sab mujhe pehle kisi ne q nahi bataya .....bohot time, paisa aur mehnat bach jati......bohot mistakes hui hai mere se..... feeling guilty and sad..... 😔😔😔

@warikoo sir. In this video you mentioned as he has a good corpus build for the car loan (only for the down payment) and so he can take a loan for as much long and as much percentage he wants. Isn't the same applicable when we want to buy a home. Both the car and home are for self use, how is it different and why it is recommended to wait it later stage of life ?

sir I have been watching your videos since a long time. I am a fresh investors, so I am unbale to decide whether it is the correct time to enter into mid cap and small cap mutual funds, as India is having elections, will election impact these funds or not. So can you please clarify my doubt pr make a small video for everyone.
Theory never works..., practical.. Expenditure.. Saving.. Investment.. After marriage.. Your expenditure.. Increasing.. After one or two children.. Expenditure.. Increased savings decreased... Investment decreased.. 1.) Term policy 2 Cr. 2.) Medical Insurance.. 15 LK. Then think of saving & Investment.... Termination JOB.. If happening.. What is your.. Control..
@warikoo Sir pls clarify this.... As per your calculation Manish has to pay interest approx 2,77,190 rupees, if he takes 12L loan amount. On the other hand if he keeps 12L in his PF he will get more than 4 lakhs as interest in 5 years. Then how withdrawal of PF (@7%) is better option than withdrawal of loan (@8.5%)?
He is not just taling loan he is paying emi also. So if he withdraw ppf money then he can invest his emi sonewhere...so add that interest also
I'm not agree with you. I want reply from Ankur sir.
Sir IAM big fan you. You video is very helpful 😊. Love from Bangladesh ❤

Don't invest hard earned money in mutual funds. There is always market manipulation that happens by different mass moving individuals. Either you learn stock market trading and do at your own risk or invest in post office.
Very intelligent man..
Manish age is 25 year currently and he is working since 7 year which means at the age of 18 he was started his government job. How it is possible
Amazed how he's able to save 10lakh in PF at the age of 25 with 40k salary
7 saal service hai bhai ki
40k salary is actually after the PF deduction of 10k which he mentioned
He started deducting 10k recently, which he mentioned. And that's PPF not PF. Employee contribution will only be 12.5 % of basic, which in his case is ~4500 at max. So I don't think his statement of 10 lakh is correct unless he's been contributing 1.2 lakhs per year since he started his career
He started working at a age of 18? His company giving him 1cr term insurance, No limit mediclaim with family cover, leaves every 3 months, company accommodation, food, electricity. Amazing company. 😮

Hi Ankur, thanks and lot's of informative video...but we would also like to know about taxation part for LTCG ....then only will get an idea what is actual in hand corpus we will be getting after deduction of tax.
10% deduction in profit.. if the return 16% then the return that will be deducted in tax would be around 0.5-0.8% Anyway MF is the best alternative don't think that due to tax you will get less profit.
Ye sahi company hai jo bohot kuch de rhi hai😄
