Dream Home with 50K Salary in 5 YEARS? | Money Matters Ep. 8 | Ankur Warikoo Hindi
Money Matters is a series where I have conversations with normal people such as you and I, on your personal finance issues.
It is important to note that I am NOT a financial expert, I am NOT SEBI registered, and I am NOT qualified to give financial advice.
Everything that I say in these videos is purely through my own experiences.
- So these videos do not offer any stock tips, or specific mutual fund recommendations or get-rich-quick schemes.
- I am not selling any product or service through these videos.
- None of the brands that I mention in these videos have paid me to mention them, unless I explicitly say so (and I will say if the video is sponsored).
This also means that my advice may not always be the right advice. So incase I make a mistake, the best way to correct me will be to share your point of view in the comments, so that everyone can benefit from it.
I am not perfect, nor claiming to be either and would love to learn and grow.
The idea is simply to help people with their finance journey and through their story try to help others who may have a similar story.

Keep up the good work!!
Every son who comes from a middle class family his first dream will be to build a house to his parents nothing else … I had a similar dream but buying house is just too costly nowadays. The risk of taking a loan more than 40-50 lakhs just scares the shit out of me. When the job market is so shaky taking a loan of more than 50 lakhs for 20 years. The dream remains a dream forever 😢😢😢😢.
It is so beautiful to see that how this new gen z thinks about the personal finance and family.
he is not genz, people born after 2006 are genz
@Rajesh.1951 sir Gen z are those people who were born between 1997 and 2013. Now calculate his age and think whether in which category he lies.

I'm thinking to put some cash in stocks, I was at Salt Shack and i overheard some friends saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?
Off course, but Just because there are opportunities in the market doesn’t mean you should go in blindly. To understand the potential factors that contribute to your financial growth, I'll advise you to seek the help of a professional.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? i'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation
“Angela Lynn Shilling’’ is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
Amazing series, amazing host and amazing friendly discussion here.
Thank you Ankur for this series. This was much needed.
Ankur bhai, big fan of yours, my Son is about to get job in a weeks time, I had explained him about you, obviously make epic money read by both of us, I want him to be part of this sometime, thanks a lot for spreading financial knowledge which may prove instrumental in ones life.
You are bringing more engineers and it professionals, brings other common professionals also like teachers, government employees, doctors, nurse, professors etc
Generally if they have money they don't have time Or vice versa
22:23 Also make him aware about inflation which is 7-8% which means he is only getting 1cr not 2cr .. 2cr after 15 years will be equivalent to todays 1 cr
1 cr Kam nehi hai
uss 1 cr mai sai 50 lakh to invested amount hee hai
Wrong calculation think once again apne final amount p inflataion adjust kr liya pr principal amount p nhi thi@@Blazzy...
Exactly and aisa karke 5 saal baad jab ye Ghar lene jayega to wo rate SIP profit se zyada ho chuka hoga
Just want to express something with you Ankur Sir! I get to learn alot throughout your videos and that insta reels too! Some of the insta reels are like hitting me so much is like ki mere liye hi bni hai ye too! Feeling Grateful! Thankyou so much Sir!! 😊❤❤❤
Thank you sir for making this money metter Series ❤
I think Utkarsh should go for a term life Insurance which he can later increase. His parents will have invested in his education and nothing wrong in sparing some of the 10k he sends his parents in buying a term life plan. Rest can be invested as Ankur suggested.
He will definitely grow in life ❤
Nice Series!
I really like this video, Thanks Ankur for teaching us.
This man gives aspiration to many of people's.
Also as salary bracket increases, money needs to be put In tax saving instruments . Step up SIPs with inflation rates, resulting into increased need based expenses will become difficult. Also the 3 months where taxes get cut, becomes difficult to survive with SIPs pre planned.
Ye series se bohot sikhne milta h
Amazing series 😍

*Excellent!!! Your channel is Highly recommend. But I really do have a question. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest how would you recommend we enter into investing as a newbie? Because depending on one steam of income is very difficult in this economy crisis so I would greatly appreciate any suggestions where one could invest that doesn't depend on government*
I would suggest to reach out to Mavis. What impresses me most about Mavis is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually trading for you. And letting you use her trade signals. And she will also teach you how to trade as she trade for you. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.
Please I'm a beginner where can someone reach Mavis?
She's mostly attend to client's faster on Telegrams, using the user-name.

Reached to the right young audience.
Very good and calculated advice.
This is for all folks who wants to give something to their parents. No place or locality is bad when it comes to where you have been brought up by your parents and from where you learned everything. It could be that since now you have grown up, started earning and have seen some sort of lavish lifestyle, could be reason that now you don’t like that lifestyle. My point is since you don’t like the place where you lived in your past or present, just don’t quote the place as bad locality😅
I totally disagree, people can be sentimental about the place they have grown up in but yes there are bad localities in every city and just because you grew up there doesn't mean it is good, it can be bad on so many aspects from unavailability of local transport, clean water, bad neighbours, lack of cleanliness. You lived there because you didn't have a choice, it's good to consider getting your parents out of there now since you have the money for it
+1@@archamit
You taking this vc in your best swetchwasen ❤
Hi Ankur ji.. I really enjoy this series considering 90% of the Indians belong to Middle class. But one thing I observed is that you seem to pick only North Indian profiles, just wanted to ask why you are not considering South Indian folks. Is it because we don't speak Hindi and so you don't get views? I believe langauge should not be a barrier, we're all Indians. It would be great if you could consider some South Indian profiles as well. Thank you.
I support you, unity is very important in any of PAN India phenomenon. Otherwise, looks incomplete.
Or may no south indian approached him
Nice clarity at this age !!!!
I loveeee this series
Amazing series sir tq

Hello sir, I have one question, the small finance Bank was also given the ROI of 8.2 percent (approx) in FD which is equal to bonds ROI or greater than bond ROI. So can we put the money in FD? Which one is better?

Hi @ankur i don't know you read this comment or not. I want to say that first thanks for expraid awareness about finance management. I need help from you to manage my finance structure. I am in job and also i manage this KZhead channel and I earning from both. Please help to manage my financial system also I want to buy my own house without 5 year. Thanks again💐
I am doing investing in stock and mutual fund... purchase a flat.. also planning to save few amounts for purchasing a commercial shop... and then rest amount i spent on daily usage.. So i need your advise on few things.
Inflation on daily expenses? How would those work out and impact the end future corpus.
Bhai Renovation k liye 5 saal wait karne se acha hoga Take a Loan and start renovating now only. Excel Sheet and Bank Account me 5 saal baad aane Wale Profit se bohot zyada value hogi 5 saal bina wait kiye aaj se hi ek Renovated ya Better Locality wale New Ghar me Rehna.. 53k is a decent amount for Home Loan also if you have a Secured Job. Just buy a new house, ofcourse you'll sell this one to Iska Paisa Down Payment hoga for a new house and you can do a 15-20yr Home Loan and Repay it earlier or make other investments when u get a Salary Hike.. 5 saal me Property k rates kya honge this Excel Sheet can't calculate.
@warikoo You seem to have missed travel expenses which he need to incur to go home every now and than as he stays at some other city

Thanks 🙏 dear wariko
Good 👍🏻 job sir ,,,,,❤
Stop sending money to parents is a bad idea, both morally and financially. Instead opting for FD in their bank will be better as they will think it as their money as compared if the money is invested in the market.

@Ankur I follow all your vlogs, you are amazing when it comes to invest planning. But with all due respect I would like to opose with your suggestion given to move 10K contribution towards his parents to a SIP with 5 years goal. You should not measure every contribution with SIP. Getting a monthly help from their child at the age of 55+ is a dream of every parents, also its very much temporary, not every person can continue after their marriage for different reasons. So I strongly encourage everyone to help with money to their parents regardless of investment profit/loss specially when they are on twenties.
lots of love from pakistan
this guy is in TCS and his role is Digital, just guessing because he have the same exact salary figures which TCS offers.

Nice guidance Warikoo but why you are not suggesting on NPS where you always talk about Compunding of 20 / 30 / 45 which actually youth can see if thry start early invest in NPS with nominal amount hence need your expertise if i start investing 1000 every minth from 18th year what will be my corpus in 60 without any step up, as we are starting at every early age which will be good and can have ability to show magical numbers in age 60 without compromising on anything
Sir, after watching your videos, I have done SIPs (40% large cap, 30% mid cap, 25% flexi cap and 15% in small cap), it will be great help if you can suggest what kind of avarge return i can expect. Or i need to reallocate my money.
Nobody can tell No-one can predict the market
Which mutual fund for large cap ? U invested ? @sintusing1255

Always describe your question very well including your age, loan etc., goal, investment starting year etc etc (to get some sensible answer to any finfluencer) 🙂 have a happy investing
@warikoo What to do to emergency fund ? should we keep in saving account or FD or anything else ?
Emergency u Keep in savings only . If u want some interest and flexibility go for debt mutual fund, its better. You can keep emergency Fund in FD also , but make sure its Flexible FD , so that if u want to withdraw u need not pay any penalty for early Withdrawal..
I am also from psit Kanpur

One genuine question i have, why is that you don't recommend NPS for safe investment? it is known to give similar returns as stock market? Like is there a negative/downside to putting small percentage in NPS as well?
NPS returns are not similar to Stock Market. But investing in NPS can give you an additional tax deduction of 50k if and at the time of maturity ZERO TAX .🙂
The way sir says - oooooo😂
