"Stock" is a terrible bench mark when comparing cars. The Veyron is a highly tuned/modified car. Massive engine with 4 turbos... Incredibly "modified" and tuned.

the track was only half a mile long, imagine if it was 3 or 4 miles long. The Vette would have been destroyed. Too big a power difference between the two cars. 205 vs 253 mph. This is like watching a lightweight taking on a heavyweight in boxing.

There's no way a Corvette is hitting 250mph+ without breaking down. It just doesn't have the aerodynamics and the technology under the bonnet to do it. The new Bugatti's hit 300mph+. At that point it's drag racing planes not cars.

I think they may be stated in the description, it's been a while, off the top of my head, it had BTR Stage 3 Cam, upper 2.175 Pulley, Ported Blower, ARS Headers, and a RPM Triple Disk lightweight clutch/flywheel setup.

Good catch, actually was 2nd gear, but the car spun as it had rained the night before and the surface was still slightly damp. As the day went on, the track completely dried and the car was able to hook in 2nd.

Ian Abbott There is up 750hp mode on the veyron. The spoiler simply comes up at higher speeds to add downforce so that the ride doesn't become unstable. Had the veyron only had 750 hp, this wouldn't even be a race anymore.

Void Scorpius - I do believe that the spoiler will not come up under acceleration unless the 1001 hp mode is selected. Under braking the spoiler will raise. Unforunately i will not own a Veyron in my lifetime to test it!

It takes modified cars to beat an unmodified car. Vette would stay with it only 1/2 mile, then get smoked, not that I'm a Veyron fan or anything just common sense. I'm sure those Veyrons could be opened up and the HVAC and luxury shit that weighs it down be thrown in the trash.

I was pulling on him up once we were in the higher gears. Just spun in 2nd due to the damp track from overnight rain. But you're right... My ZR1 was modded, he just had a tune and MS109 Race Fuel... And a $1mm car. ;)

The Bugatti would have destroyed the Vette if the track was longer. There is about a 350 hp power difference between the two cars. The only reason it look like the Vette was catching up because the Veyron had to brake because it was running out of track

Enver Alam Notice how it was pulling away while the vette was spinning but then stopped once he hooked at the top of 3rd? Before the spoilers comes up you can actually see him reeling it in slightly which means the Veyron was still going. The owner of this car already stated that he was beating it later in the day once the track dried up and he hooked.

And the venom is a Lotus Chassis with a turbocharged LS covette engine...i think the venom is the much cooler car but Its Nothing master mind about it you Can get a Gtr Engine to 2000hp Too like its a fucking tuned Engine ?! "Stock" is a terrible bench mark when comparing cars. The Veyron is a highly tuned/modified car. Massive engine with 4 turbos... Incredibly "modified" and tuned.

the track was only half a mile long, imagine if it was 3 or 4 miles long. The Vette would have been destroyed. Too big a power difference between the two cars. 205 vs 253 mph. This is like watching a lightweight taking on a heavyweight in boxing.

I think they may be stated in the description, it's been a while, off the top of my head, it had BTR Stage 3 Cam, upper 2.175 Pulley, Ported Blower, ARS Headers, and a RPM Triple Disk lightweight clutch/flywheel setup.
Did the vette try starting off in 3rd gear? Looked like it, sorry.
Good catch, actually was 2nd gear, but the car spun as it had rained the night before and the surface was still slightly damp. As the day went on, the track completely dried and the car was able to hook in 2nd.

A good race. ZR1s are not to be toyed with! Saying that, the spoiler came up on the veyron. Doesnt that mean it is in 750hp mode?
Ian Abbott There is up 750hp mode on the veyron. The spoiler simply comes up at higher speeds to add downforce so that the ride doesn't become unstable. Had the veyron only had 750 hp, this wouldn't even be a race anymore.
Void Scorpius - I do believe that the spoiler will not come up under acceleration unless the 1001 hp mode is selected. Under braking the spoiler will raise. Unforunately i will not own a Veyron in my lifetime to test it!
Ian Abbott look dude, it's always 1001 hp. You can't adjust the horsepower through modes on the veyron. The spoiler will automatically come up at high speeds. Trust me on that

It takes modified cars to beat an unmodified car. Vette would stay with it only 1/2 mile, then get smoked, not that I'm a Veyron fan or anything just common sense. I'm sure those Veyrons could be opened up and the HVAC and luxury shit that weighs it down be thrown in the trash.
I was pulling on him up once we were in the higher gears. Just spun in 2nd due to the damp track from overnight rain. But you're right... My ZR1 was modded, he just had a tune and MS109 Race Fuel... And a $1mm car. ;)

The Bugatti would have destroyed the Vette if the track was longer. There is about a 350 hp power difference between the two cars. The only reason it look like the Vette was catching up because the Veyron had to brake because it was running out of track

Before the spoilers comes up you can actually see him reeling it in slightly which means the Veyron was still going. The owner of this car already stated that he was beating it later in the day once the track dried up and he hooked.
