  • These cars are a steal. They blow away a lot of new cars with all it’s features, and that 3UZ V8 is just something special. For the money, there isn’t much that can compare.

  • Toyota/Lexus were doing things in the early nineties that most other manufacturers hadn't even dreamed of, such as full touch screen that controlled sound, aircon/climate control, traction control, ride height from the full airbag electronic controlled suspension, and much more. Most other carmakers were like "what's traction control?", "what's a touch screen?" The Japanese were refining and redefining what car making should be.

    • Same goes with the other JDM cars introducing some of the autonomous safety tech, lane keep assist by Nissan, Honda with autonomous braking etc... theres something special about these JDM vehicles in general. My dad currently owns a Nissan Elgrand from 2006 and it has better features than my dads previous Mondeo and our Landcruiser Prado both from 2012, though both are still great cars.

      @ffabcd5091@ffabcd50912 жыл бұрын
    • @@ffabcd5091 It just makes you wonder why the Japanese were able to introduce all of those features, and the other manufacturers were either not capable of doing those things, or just didn't think enough of their customers. Look at what features the rest of them had in the late eighties and early nineties, they just don't compare with what the Japanese had to offer.

      @zwastiunburzy3688@zwastiunburzy36882 жыл бұрын
    • @@zwastiunburzy3688 to be fair the biggest problem with the japanese companies that they kept these features only in japan only until recently.I Guess these features will make their cars too expensive outside which wont make them attractive to buy. Lexus in its early days especially was the closest you can get to a JDM luxury car in terms of features, though some of the JDM Toyotas blow them away not forgetting to mention the others.

      @ffabcd5091@ffabcd50912 жыл бұрын
    • @@ffabcd5091 That's true. In Australia, when the '91 Toyota Soarer (or Lexus SC400) was imported by a very few entrepreneurs, they sold for around the 90k mark. The GT Limited, anyway. By the time I got one in 2002, I paid 10k. Big difference. I guess the car companies that manufactured in Australia wanted to keep the cars affordable.

  • So here is the question due to 4.3 verse 4.6 and the gearbox difference , is there a massive difference in performance , looking at the S200 would prefer the AWD cause i am in Japan but the hp of the 4.6 is so tempting over the AWD which only got the 4.3
