My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

For once, I truely believe in god with ALL my heart. I grave the sins I have committed in the past but now I'm choosing by the will of god to make a change, one that will never be forgotten. I will no longer make bad choices, I will no longer sin and curse thy father, I will no longer hunger for the selfishness and short-term happiness that negatively hurt people and thy father, I WILL follow god for the rest of my life. Wierd how something could bring tears to my eyes; I never cry.

Miracles do happen. When I was 2, I visited Turkey with my parents. I got really sick and ended up in hospital with a 43 temperature. So I ended up in a coma. Eventually my parents called my granparents (dad's side) and the whole church prayed for me. Then they called their friends and that church prayed for me as well. So 2 churches prayed for me. By then my heartbeat stopped for about 1/2 minutes. But then a miracle happened. My heart started beating again. If you don't call that a miracle then you're crazy. I'm so thankful. If God wasn't with me right there, then I would've died. Then when I was 11 golden dust fell on my book in school. Amazing right? Thank you Jesus for all the healing you have done for us and all the miracles you have provided!

Hi. I'm 16 and I can relate. I've been having severe panic attacks a lot and I do have anxiety and I've been battling depression for a while now... So yeah I do get how you feel, but have faith in Jesus. To be honest I have left God out of my life for a while and I believe that's why I'm here now. I've realized now that without him life on the whole is IMPOSSIBLE. I will pray for you to get better because I know how it feels. :)
ChocolateXVanilla Panic attacks come from the stronghold of fear and we have authority over fear in Jesus' name. How to take it down and overcome it is to repent for agreeing with fear when you recognize it, ask the Lord to remove it and replace it with his love. Do this by faith and watch what the Lord does!! Anytime you "feel" that way say that pray and dont agree with- you dont have to suffer from them!! Jesus died on the cross and we have authority over the enemy in every area of our lives :) The Bible says we are not of this world, therefore, we cant fight spiritual things unless we are fighting it in the spiritual.

Life is definitely worth it. I have 3 very close friends who tried to commit suicide, and I am very happy that they are still here. There is hope, for they all got better. God has a plan for you. You are not worthless. Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'" Also, Psalm 40:1-2 "I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand." Talk to someone you trust and talk to a counselor. There is no shame in talking to a counselor, they are very helpful. I hope that that helped!

Yeah,my parents (well my mom ) thinks my suicidal thoughts are how do i explain? Well,my mom is one of those mothers who can memorize any bible verse more than t d jakes. She doesnt let me finissh a sentence without saying something "christianany" or something spiritual. She is a "everything is from the devil" she just told me in a harsh way to go to bed and pray to God cause the devil has you. After i told my mom about my issues,i never talked about those issues to her again.

I'm 15 and am still struggling with my faith. Sometimes it just seems that without God, i can live a live thats more fun, and of more freedom, and i'll get to swear all I want and be like other teens these days. But through songs like this, I constantly am reminded that indeed, a life with God has less earthly fun. however, we'd get our reward in heaven, for JUST believing in the revival of Christ, and in this God that loves us to this incomprehensible depth, that he was willing to send his son to die for all our sins, no matter what we've done. Glad to be a part of His kingdom, part of a family who worships and surrenders our life to this God who is so majestic and amazing in the midst of all these evil. I hope that someday, i'd be able to love all those around me because i've received his love and salvation, and bring more innocent souls to this beautiful God!!

Don't worry, I'm a year older than you, and struggling too. I have the same issue, you just have to remind yourself that God is bigger than all of us, He created us, we can't even imagine the glory of God. It is hard to visualise that there is a God sometimes, but remember there is also such thing as the devil, every step you take closer to God, the more the devil will try and pull you back. So keep praying and have faith. And there are loads of things you can do for fun, it may not be the same as earthly things, but you can still have a lot of fun without sinning.

I leave for Iraq for a 6 month deployment next week. I am not fearful of death for I know that God is with me at all times. I am going to reinforce our troops over there who are within a 20 mile distance of ISIS. We have been told to write notes to family members just in case we don't come back. I am leaving a wife and 2 kids and my family. It is a very hard for me and heartbreaking to have to be separated from them. I know God has a plan for me though and I am His child. If I end up on an obituary so be it, for I will be in paradise with my savior. But please pray for my safe return to my family and that God would protect me and keep me strong no matter what I experience. God bless you all!

after years of abuse from my father and a 7 year relationship, I turned cold. I couldn't allow myself to trust anyone. I prayed in my early teens for God to send me a Man Of God who could restore my trust and love. I fell in love with God all over again after being so broken inside and suffering from a number of things (PTSD, ANXIETY, SUBTANCE AND ALCOHOL ABUSE). 2 years ago in the mist of my worst ever binge, a godly man appeared out of no where. He prayed with me everyday and for me. he fell in love with me and I him. I'm so thankful for Gods grace and mercy. 2 and a half years later, my fiance and I will marry in 3 weeks!! ❤ God brought me into deep waters and my faith kept me from drowning. so blessed 🙌🙏💓

I was never religious until one day my fiance ended up in the hospital after having a heart attack and seizure. I had no options left and prayed to god to save him. And my prayer was answered! I have Muslim background and since i have converted to Christianity, this song has been my inspiration in every situation. Last March, I went through surgery and when I walked in the surgery room, I was so disappointed and was so scared, I didnt know what will be the result and entire the surgery room looked so dark. My doctor realized how I was scared and asked me if I have any favorite song to sing during the surgery, the only song came to my mind was this song and however none of the doctors and nurses were believer but they played this song for me and entire the surgery this song was playing in the surgery room. As soon as it started playing I could feel a shift in the atmosphere. I went in with sorrow and disappointment but I came out with hope, healing. The result was totally opposite with what doctors has already told me. God is awesome. He is indeed a miracle working God.

All the people making a big deal about how this song is "theologically incorrect", I have one thing to say: we may not literally walk out onto water, but do we literally rely on a rock to save us? Of course not! We rely on God (rock, something strong and reliable, metaphor for God) and not everyday do we literally walk on water. (water, strong, can push us down, can drown us, a metaphor for the hardships of life, and of following Christ.) With God, we are able to keep our "eyes above the waves" and make it out of the storm. With God by our side, we are capable of doing amazing things!

hey I will just share some of the things God is doing in these times (which I have seen with my own eyes). There was a man in a wheelchair and he had to go to the doctor to see if his leg had to be amputated but after prayed for he stood up and walked around, later he went to the doctor and it doesn't have to be amputated. Another thing I saw in the same weekend is people being baptised and demons have to get out on that moment (because people are being filled by the holy spirit) and so you see these demons trying to hold on to those people and you hear them scream and everything. Bit they always have to go because our God is stronger and he lives in us. You can do anything through Christ who is in you! May God bless you (I hope this is helping). To everyone who is facing a problem.. Everything will be okay as long as you're with God. I know how it feels too. I was angry at God for him to put me in that stage of life. But then one day my sister asked me to go to a church class and at first I hate her for making me go and tbh I hate going to church even. Then after couple of months I started to feel like this isn't bad and I feel much better. Even tho till today I still face some problems but I feel much better. Tbh I really feel like God is right beside me and when I cry, I feel like he's there and comfort me saying that it'll get better and he'll protect. Psalm 56:8 helped me a lot which says "Tears are prayers too they travel to God when we can't speak"

I won’t preach to you, but it goes deeper than just calming you down. It’s God trying to call you, the phrase, “He leaves the 99 to find 1” is true. Not telling you to convert, just telling you that it’s something to think about. We’re all entitled to our own opinions.

2024 and I always come back here whenever I feel happy, sad, lonely, or terrified. Because I know this is where the spirit leads me to and reminds me to just call upon his name and have faith that whatever that is happening has a reason
