BNSF's Southern Transcontinental railroad is one of the busiest rail lines in the country, and is BNSF's pipeline in and out of all of California. Upwards of 120 trains a day can be seen on the Needles subdivison.
These scenes show three BNSF intermodal trains at a location known as Goffs. The Eastbound train is nearing the end of it's run at Needles, CA, where a new crew will take the train east. The other two are just beginning their runs west to Barstow CA. Goffs is the end of triple track and a large bottleneck, several trains can be seen backed up in the background of this footage.
