William "Bill" Molls lived 96 in NW Wisconsin. He was a farmer, trapper, hunter, fisherman, and conservationist. Bill survived the Great Depression trapping out of a self-made, pond-side cabin in Wisconsin's Northwoods. Watch some of Bill's trapping and logging exploits as Bill's son Joe, his grandson, Billy, and family friend Gus cherish the memories.

  • Awesome Billy as always,! What a way to preserve those memories with your dad narrating. Brings memories from my dad and grandfathers 8MM videos from past years Deer & Fox hunting.

  • Thanks for sharing the memories of your family. Our family has a cabin on big round over in polk county. I love listening to the older folks im 51 and my mothers Aunt Jenny from wolf creek passed at 100. She didnt have videos but the pictures and stories were endless. The way the world is now days its refreshing to look back in the past and more simple times. God bless and stay safe , keep the video coming !!

  • You’re blessed beyond measure. I only knew one of my grandparents. I just learned today that one of my grandfathers saved my cousin’s life when he died. I knew a tractor flipped over on him but I didn’t know that my older cousin Tim was on the tractor with him. Tim told me Grandpa pushed him off the tractor as it was going over. I wish I knew more about my grandparents on both sides. Treasure the stories and pass them on to your children. Let them know where they came from. On another note I got moved to Alaska and will be pursuing my hunting goals as an Alaskan resident next year.

  • I hunt indian creek to this day. Awesome being able to place the spots your dad talks about. Im sure through out the year hes hit the rice bed creek area also. 80% of my hunting is there when the tornado went through a few years back it tore it up something aweful. And im sure your familys properties were hit pretty hard also. Mother nature can change what we know in the blink of an eye !!
