It's one thing to not use a timeout when you are losing and they score 3 goals but when they score 3 and you are still up 4-3 USE THE DAMN TIMEOUT, some of these coaches are clueless, I never see anyone use a timeout to slow the game down, stop the other teams momentum including the crowd and relax the players a bit.

We got outplayed in the third. People too quick to blame Skinner. There was a point where we didnt have a shot for like 20 minutes. You cant win games like that.

If you believe in this guy after the last 2 playoffs, you're delusional. He's a stationary sit-down butterfly goalie. If the puck doesn't hit him when he's in his butterfly, it's in the net. I'm gobsmacked that the Oilers GM has not gone and found a promising rookie keeper over the last 3 seasons. If the Oilers lose, it will be because of Skinner.

As some have already said, this wasnt all on skinner. Our defensive play went to crap in front of him. so enough with the haters on skinner. he has done us proud and has always bounced back next games. he was also a huge part of our 16 and 8 game heaters we went on. i have Faith in him and know his next game will shine!!!!

Delusional. Gave them the game? They were outworked, more shots, more hits, more face-offs. No shots from Macdavid? They scored two very lucky goals, and then they couldn't get the momentum back in the third. Skinner was awful. He might be better if he controlled his ego.

With such a game of a level below AHL, the face should be made 10 times easier and learn to admit your guilt. You're not working on your game! The same mistakes - your exits from the gate are terrible and they always bring either goals or, like today, 2 minutes of penalty. You fielded a team playing with LA when the score was 1-0 28 seconds before the end of the first period, you got out of the gate and brought a goal. For what??? Have you drawn any conclusions from this?? No. Your goal positioning is terrible, you're slow and you don't read the game well, you don't want to learn anything and improve anything, except for difficult faces during interviews. Even an amateur goalkeeper would have scored your first goal today, but you were unable to understand that the rebound would come from behind the goal and sat far behind your goal line. Did you play well??? Stu, all you're doing is drowning the team and it's not the first season. Getting a contract is not the same as learning how to play at all. Your game today was ugly, it lacked passion, speed, freshness and confidence. You were standing in the goal having already lost this game. Until you realize how low your level is, nothing will change, all you can do in the next games is not to "beat faster" but to deprive the team of chances for the cup. The goals conceded today would not have been missed by any goalkeeper from those clubs that remained in the fight for the cup. You don't have to think about what kind of face to make in front of the camera, but about how to improve your game, how to get faster, how to think faster and give everything to the game, and not stand in the gate with the face of a tired champion who won five Stanley Cups and does a favor playing for the team of the local amateur beer league. All you imagine yourself to be today is a backup boy with an ugly level of play and zero potential, because you are in thrall to your ambitions and feelings of your own coolness. Do something already, show us an NHL-level game, without mistakes, fast, confident with a miscalculation of all the actions of the opponent. That's what you NEED to learn, not tell me how good you are.

The same mistakes - your exits from the gate are terrible and they always bring either goals or, like today, 2 minutes of penalty. You fielded a team playing with LA when the score was 1-0 28 seconds before the end of the first period, you got out of the gate and brought a goal. For what??? Have you drawn any conclusions from this?? No. Your goal positioning is terrible, you're slow and you don't read the game well, you don't want to learn anything and improve anything, except for difficult faces during interviews. Even an amateur goalkeeper would have scored your first goal today, but you were unable to understand that the rebound would come from behind the goal and sat far behind your goal line. Did you play well??? Stu, all you're doing is drowning the team and it's not the first season. Getting a contract is not the same as learning how to play at all. Your game today was ugly, it lacked passion, speed, freshness and confidence. You were standing in the goal having already lost this game. Until you realize how low your level is, nothing will change, all you can do in the next games is not to "beat faster" but to deprive the team of chances for the cup. The goals conceded today would not have been missed by any goalkeeper from those clubs that remained in the fight for the cup. You don't have to think about what kind of face to make in front of the camera, but about how to improve your game, how to get faster, how to think faster and give everything to the game, and not stand in the gate with the face of a tired champion who won five Stanley Cups and does a favor playing for the team of the local amateur beer league. All you imagine yourself to be today is a backup boy with an ugly level of play and zero potential, because you are in thrall to your ambitions and feelings of your own coolness. Do something already, show us an NHL-level game, without mistakes, fast, confident with a miscalculation of all the actions of the opponent. That's what you NEED to learn, not tell me how good you are.
