After we posted our Top Bidet seats of 2022 and the Eco Nova came in third place, we got a lot of feedback with customers asking us to compare specifically the Eco Nova, to the Bio Bidet BB-2000. Today, we're going to compare and contrast the pros and the cons of both of these seats, so that you can figure out which of these seats is the perfect fit for you. My name is Daniel Johnson. I'm your Bidet expert and I'm the owner of ManyBidets.com, where we've sold thousands of BB-2000’s and we're on our way to do the same for the Eco Nova.
Let's go ahead and start by talking about the look and the feel of both of these units. First of all, let's look at the Eco Nova. The Eco Nova has a sleek, classy profile. It looks more like a traditional toilet seat than practically any other seat on the market, because of how sleek it is. The BB-2000 on the other hand, has a taller back and it has the silver accent strip. If you like the silver accent strip, if it fits your bathroom's décor, awesome. Otherwise, the Eco Nova might fit your bathroom décor a little bit better, because of how sleek it is. Now, the cord placement on both of these units is a little bit different, as well. You can see that the Eco Nova has the cord placement and the water placement, both on the same side, the left hand side when facing the toilet. Whereas, the BB-2000 has the water on the left, but the cord on the right, so they are a little bit different in that respect. It's also important to note that the Eco Nova comes in elongated only. Whereas the BB-2000 offers both an elongated and a round option, so if you have a round toilet the BB-2000 is probably the better option out of the two.
Now that we've talked about the look and feel of the seats, let's talk about the look and feel of the remotes. The BB-2000 comes with two different remotes, a white, or black, your choice at purchase, and is made out of a hard plastic, with raised rubber buttons. It also has a screen that has countdowns on it, lets you see what's being selected and uses an infrared signal. On the other end we have the Eco Nova remote. One style, that's it. It's stainless steel, with a rose gold finish and it uses a radio frequency. There's no screen, but you do have LED indicators at the top, letting you know what's been selected and there are words on the buttons, instead of logos, so that you know exactly what you're pressing. Either of these two remotes may be the remote for you, depending on what you're looking for. For the BB-2000 if you like the little logos and icons and you like having a screen that shows you exactly what's happening when you're running your wash, the BB-2000 remote is a great option. However, if you like the words on a remote, so that you know exactly what you're pressing and maybe like the texture of the stainless steel, the Eco Nova remote might be a better option for you. Let's talk a little bit more about the radio frequency remote the Eco Nova offers and the infrared remote that the BB-2000 offers. This is another key thing that you need to keep in mind when picking a remote. Radio frequency means that the Bidets can be operated from outside the bathroom. It also means that if there's dark walls, or a small space there's still going to be no issue with the signal from the remote making it to the seat....

I would love to see the BB 2000 compared to the Toto s350e since they both come in round also if the Koehler BH-93 still a good option and if so compared to those 2 mentioned above and the actual height of each at furthest back you can sit and at its highest point, I ask about the Koehler because it's much more affordable and way better for my pocket lol. Thanks for the suggestion and the kind words!! Comparing the BB-2000 to both the S550e and S350e is on our list! We don't currently have the Kohler BH-93 on our list, as it's not really a seat we like very much... It's small, and uncomfortable, and it has a very confusing, hard to use remote. We'll consider doing a compare for it, but I doubt it will be on our short list.
I'm a bidet novice and have been watching your videos tirelessly over the last six months and adding and deleting things from my cart lol. I've only ever used an older Bio-Bidet 600 and found the water pressure suitable for me. I think the BB2000 would be too much on full blast. How does the Eco-Nova nozzle pressure compare to a BB600? What one piece toilet would you recommend to compliment it? I don't like the ones that are too tall like 17in. Prefer chair height. Thank you.
Although we have not compared the two directly, the BB600 would probably have a bit higher pressure than the Eco Nova. The Eco Nova has a slightly wider spray than most bidets making it on the softer pressure side. Seeing as it comes with a 30 day risk free trial though, it’s a great way to try for yourself and determine how you like it!
I'm looking to replace my 6+ years old bidet this year(2024). Do you have or would you consider a comparison review of the Bio Bidet DLS Discovery vs the Eco-Nova? I see both use uv, but the Eco-Nova also has silver nano. The Discovery has a 5 year warrenty while the Eco-Nova is 2 years. Thanks in advance.
With the sittable lid, the radio frequency remote, silver nano sterilization and lower price point, the Eco Nova wins out in our opinion!
It looks like the Eco-Nova is a better bidet. However the price point issue is not one of its points as the dls discovery is on sale for less than the Eco Nova.
_Which hand held bidet would you recommend? And if there's any hand held bidet that has control of using warm water_
We do not recommend any handhelds. We've seen too many issues with leaking. If you want one that's held in hand, we'd go with a travel bidet. A handheld that's connect to your home's water supply can flood the whole house when it springs a leak

@@seekfactsnotfiction9056 Sadly, we've found that's how most of them are. We literally do not recommend handhelds for that exact reason.
How often do you need to replace the UV light on the Eco Nova? And are replacement parts available? Thank's
It should last the life of the seat, but if something does go wrong with it, all parts are available.
I just bought the Bio Bidet BB-2000 and noticed that the warm water was a bit inconsistent. On the high heat setting, I noticed that it gives really warm water for about 30 seconds, then fluctuates and gets cooler for a few seconds before becoming warm again. Is this normal for hybrid heating unit?
Most Hybrid water heaters have about 45 seconds of warm water. However, the BB-2000 boasts unlimited, consistent warm water. Despite this, in the last year, we've seen a few batches of BB-2000 seats with issues delivering on that promise. I hope somebody can answer my question, I don't see that the spray moves side to side and back and forward, which gives me doubt that you will get clean. Do you need to move around with your butt to get every part clean?
No seat on the market offers a nozzle that moves side to side, so you're not missing anything. However, unless you're dealing with consistent bouts of explosive diarrhea that causes a mess wider spread than normal, a seat like the eco nova (which has a wider spray than the BB-2000, and a wider spray than most other bidets as well) will absolutely take care of what you need. If you find that you need more coverage, repositioning yourself is your best bet.
What is difference between the bio bidet 2000 and the bio bidet 2000 Bliss?
Hello, They are actually the same seat. Sometimes the Bio Bidet 2000 is referred to as Bliss and sometimes its not.
